Such fantastic physio, couldn't recommend enough. I'm so glad a friend with hypermobility suggested central health when I broke my ankle/leg a year ago. I see Katriona who is absolutely brilliant. I've been going for over a year now and my ankle has improved so much, I fully credit her with how well my recovery went. She is incredibly knowledgeable and after so many poor experiences I was wary of physio, but am beyond grateful for everyone at central health for my rehab. My partner also now sees Katriona for his hypermobility related joint issues and is doing really well too. Everyone is lovely, replies promptly, the clinic is clean and welcoming. Can't recommend enough.

Having had many shoulder dislocations and a couple of surgeries, I've spent a lot of time trying to find the best physiotherapist I could. In my experience, that is Camilla.

She takes care to understand the underlying causes of a problem rather than just treating the symptoms. She explains issues simply, is effective at releasing tightness, and gives me exercises that work.

Most importantly, I've achieved better outcomes with Camilla - she takes away pain better than anyone else I've seen.

I would not even give it a one. The receptionist staff raise eyes at each other when you are booking in like you are putting them out and make you feel very uncomfortable before your treatment plan.

I've been having physio on and off for forty years, after many years playing rugby and other sports. Staff are very helpful and Camilla is the best physio I've ever had.

My first appointment was to a high standard and professional. The therapist was able to answer my questions and recommend some exercises which are helping. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because it took a bit long for the therapist to answer follow up questions but not an issue.

My appointment starts on time and is very thorough. Everything is discussed with me so that I understand what is happening. I really feel involved and treated as an individual, not simply a faulty body part.

Expert advice, really helpful.

Central Health Physiotherapy is a reliable source of expert physiotherapists and hand therapists. I have accessed their services over the years. Not only are they experts but they worth with other professionals which is very helpful. I avoided shoulder surgery with their expert guidance and the wider team. I have EDS and their specialism in this area is also helpful for those who are hypermobile or have connective tissue disorders. They also have a very effective team of administrators, often the achilles heel with other private providers. Their back office is well done, efficient and the opposite of a bot. They read and answer emails, they also have an online booking system so they suit both types of person. They offer evening appointments at a variety of clinics. I have used the paediatric physio services for my child ( who is now an adult) with the eminent Professor Jane Simmonds and I still feel tearful when I think about her empathy, understanding and expertise. I can not overstate her brilliance and her amazing 'bedside' manner. For my own needs I have over the years had the benefit of the services of Katriona Ryan, and in the hand clinic the wonderful Megha.

Chris Pinches at CHP St John’s Wood worked wonders on my back a few years ago and has now done the same for my frozen shoulder. He is an excellent physiotherapist and I would highly recommend him.

Wry good profissionals

The best physiotherapy treatment I have had for some time. Excellent advice and service and consequently, my progress after a hip replacement is going really well. Their physios really care and are giving me a lot of confidence as I am recovering.

Hypermobility tends to make one a bit quirky when it comes to what works and what doesn't. And how significant the impact is when it doesn't. Having found Central Health Physio and their specialist knowledge in this area is a profound relief. Especially the extraordinarily knowledgeable Cathy.

Although on the expensive side, I was happy that the physio did a thorough examination.

Excellent and very supportive. They go at my pace and don't get upset with me if I cannot do the exercises - they adapt.

They've helped me with what to say at long-awaited NHS appointments and referred me on when there's more specialist need.

Literally life-saving for me right now. And they are so nice which is a bonus!

The hand therapist Sumaira Ahmad is very knowledgeable and skilled. She has greatly helped me with the painful arthritis in my hand.

Very friendly and accommodating receptionists. Easy to book. My physiotherapist was very good and the exercises he asked me to do, really helped. All in all a very good experience.
