Delivery statements misleading …

After offering me next day delivery for a fee and an email confirmation stating shipment made for next day delivery, apparently they only ship Monday to Wednesday. You have to look up the shipping details page to learn this. I had to cancel my order.
Also their claim of immediate reply to on-line chat is not true. Took days to get a chat response.

Didn’t receive my package yet throu ups…

Didn’t receive my package yet throu ups which I understand delays with the cold where I am located. But I had to email in to you guys for a receipt and confirm purchase which kind of sucked because of the amount of money it took to purchase kinda of scared me. First time trying so I am excited to try it.

I placed an online order on Christmas…

I placed an online order on Christmas Eve (December 25, 2023) and made payment via PayPal which is essentially a credit card payment. Although someone called me the next day and advised that FedEx could not confirm delivery by the Friday end of day before December 31, 2023 and therefore proactively offered me an opportunity to cancel my order and get a refund and the person I spoke to was very professional, I was told that my refund which I agreed to was processed and an email would be sent immediately confirming the refund in writing. I did NOT receive the email at any time that day. I called back and spoke to the same person the next day on December 27, 2023 and advised that I didn’t receive that refund confirmation email and was told it was being sent out immediately again. I did not get the email yet again. I’ve checked my spam folder and the alleged emails sent are NOT in there. I called back again and left a message noting all the information above along with my request for the refund confirmation email to be sent again and asked for a callback too and have not yet received a call and/or refund confirmation email yet to date which is now January 3, 2024. I have called several times a day since I left the voicemail and every time I make an attempt to make contact using the phone number I used and was able to reach someone that one time I called, the same automated message repeatedly tells me everyone is busy and to call back at a later time. To add to this, the large sum of money I paid to CaviarHub.ca has now been processed and charged to my credit card statement and NO REFUND has been processed to date. I am VERY unhappy and extremely frustrated and disappointed in general. I will NEVER conduct ANY business with this company EVER again.

They will charge you and cancel the order, stay away

I have placed an order on Dec. 23rd with a 1 day delivery option ($360 order), they called me on the 26th and said they can't ship it, because of fed ex (which was a lie as I later found out). We agreed that my account won't be charged and that would be it, order is canceled, I get my full refunds seems simple enough right? Nope, they charged me anyway even though I have canceled the order, and now it sits in limbo. This product was meant for New Years and they have failed miserably, I do not want it in mid January. There is a dispute case open with paypal now, stay away from these guys, and the reason why they could not ship it is because they all went on holidays until January 10th, but trying to blame fed ex for this.

First of all, your initial response was about fed ex, not UPS, fine, lets looks at UPS christmas schedule.

They were open on the 27th (which is Wednesday and the day when you ship as explained below right?)

And I was ok with waiting a week or so, but why would you call me to say that the order will be cancelled and then charge be anyway and make my order appear *on hold* on your site?!
What are you doing?! I will keep my dispute open until I see the refund completed, currently it's been over a week, lots of payments already processed by banks and credit card, and nothing from these guys yet, so don't bs me about the delays in banking.

1 day delivery is a lie

Yet to try, as 1 day delivery (29$ for 1 day shipping) is a lie. Ordered on 21st for Christmas dinner, it's 25th, and they neither delivered, updated or responded to the calls.

Frustrating overall experience

Website Stock is out of date so you won’t necessarily get what you ordered. Very difficult to get hold off a human or receive email responses. My partyorder arrived 4 days later than when I needed and had clearly specified with my order, by phone and repeatedly by email. I live in Toronto for clarity and not a remote location. Half my order was replaced with items I especially said I didn’t want more off (salmon roe) and the lumpfish roe arrived frozen due to delayed winter travel I assume. They provided a refund for half my order which I appreciated but it does not make up for the fact that I didn’t have the stuff for a party that I was hosting, nor that half the items were frozen and unusable. Note that their response to each similar complaint is that “UPS lost the original order”. I doubt that’s the case. Rather I suspect that they gamble that UPS will generally deliver next day in major cities and pay for the lowest cost option, resulting in some orders not arriving on time. A fatal flaw when you’re dealing with something as delicate as caviar. I was going to order proper caviar for our family Xmas but ended up going back to a different supplier who hand delivers to the door for the same cost.

AVOID THIS COMPANY !

Placed order...paid for it....NO DELIVERY....had to follow up with company....t hey claimed UPS 'Lost' the delivery...advised it would be delivered next day....3 days later NO DELIVERY!
Last time I will ever think of dealing with this coimpany...I am ALMOST GUARANTEED of never seeing my money again !
