We recently used Care Move in Sutton Coldfield for our house move. Bernadette came out to assess and quote for our needs. She was straight forward, yet friendly and we liked her honest approach. We did not seek a quote from another company because we felt comfortable with Care Move.
We rang several times before our move for advice and Lorraine was always bright, cheerful, and helpful with lots of tips. (she is lovely) She is the person we would like on the end of the phone whenever we have to ring a company.
We were impressed with the lads who did the move. They were a great bunch, Paul, Ken, Dylan, Sam and Macaully. We had a lot to move inspite of downsizing, but they swiftly emptied the house without causing any damage. It was hard work but their cheery banter and reassurance took a lot of the stress away from the move. They were easy to communicate with, knew their craft and though not ever ever wanting to move again, we would not hesitate in using them.

I would definitely recommend from booking to carrying out the removal professional in every way these guys took the stress out for us... thankyou Bernadette for the lovely gesture Hot Soup & crusty bread 😊

We only moved a couple of miles up the road but we had A LOT of stuff. Five guys over three days. They were friendly, polite, caring and helpful. A big thank you to all at Care Move for making our move as painless as possible.

Care Move have been amazing. I moved this morning and the two guys were brilliant. Quick efficient and careful. I would recommend Care Move 100%.

We recently moved house and used Caremove for our removals. They were very efficient with friendly removal men where nothing was to much trouble. Phil and Sam could not have done any more to make our move stress free . Thank you . Good value for money . I would not hesitate to recommend.

I used care move for our recent move and they were outstanding.
Due to poor solicitors we ended up booking them with very little notice but Bernadette was amazing in getting boxes to us. When exchange fell through and we ended up exchanging and completing on the same day they were supportive and very professional. The boxes they provided we of excellent quality and plenty of packing material and tape was also given.
On the day Matt and his team were brilliant moved us out at a decent pace given we didnt know if we would compete. A lovely, helpful group of guys where nothing was too much trouble. A decent chat with them over a cuppa whilst we waited for keys to be available and then we were all systems go with moving in. Boxes ended up in the room they were labelled to get to and no breakages or accidents. I would definitely use them again and highly recommend them. You get a month to return the boxes and they send a message the day before they are due to be collected.

Lazy packing of one very expensive item led to breakage and company refused to accept responsibility. You can see their reply had it have packed and marked properly and not wrapped in one of my quilts in an unmarked box then it would be in tact like the rest of my chattels

Phil and the team were excellent during my move professional and swift. I will certainly be recommending Care Move to friends and colleagues in the future.

We were moving two properties Paul and Mat on first day were greatc as were the other guys.

I recently moved from Shirley, West Midlands to Stratford-upon-Avon and used Care Move.

In hindsight, I wish I had checked reviews as 1 in 4 reviewers on Trustpilot give this company a 1* rating. I can see why now.

During the whole moving process several unfortunate events happened resulting in damaged and incomplete items along with items left behind at my previous address. However, one of the treads on the new, oak staircase was damaged with a long gauge mark. I contacted a french polisher and was quoted 250 pounds to repair the staircase.

I notified Bernadette Dale, the owner, and said that despite numerous things that went wrong that day I just wanted the staircase to be returned to its original condition. Her response was that the movers i.e. her employees, had picked a bed up en route to my new house and that they also took a mini upright piano upstairs. She decided that 260 pounds was the additional charge on top of the 2,000 pounds that had already been paid.

As a businessman myself I find it extremely poor practice to offer a service as a good will gesture and then conjure up inflated prices to make up for damaging a customer's property.

Furthermore, there was additional work required to put together the gym equipment and dining room table which had been left in pieces as the nuts and bolts, along with other items, had been left at the old house, but I had agreed to forego these (as well as damaged items) as long as the staircase was fixed.

The company has failed to meet my request so I am forced to seek compensation using the legal system.

Sometimes the principle is more important than the money.

Care Move? - More like LACK OF CARE Move.

My advice, stay well away from this company !!!

I'm not surprised at your ridiculous response containing trumped up charges for work that your company (your men) happily agreed to do. Next time you wrongly list an item as an electric keyboard rather than a mini upright at least have the decency to admit you made a mistake rather than blaming the customer.
As far as visiting your home, I asked a friend to hand deliver my letter to you. Not sure how she can pose a threat by posting a letter but nice try at attempting to discredit me - unfortunately another 1* effort by you though.
Oh, it was convenient to not mention all of the other things that went wrong that day but I guess owning up to making mistakes is not in your vocabulary.

The team headed by Phil were superb. They were efficient, friendly with absolutely no hassle. They made what could have been a stressful day much easier to cope with. Would certainly recommend them.

A fantastic experience. We confirmed our move date very late in the day and Lorraine and Bernadette were fantastic in accommodating us. Phil and the team arrived early, were super efficient and very courteous. I have never seen a group of people work so hard, they were fantastic, even throwing in plenty of good humour to take the stress out of the situation. We couldn’t have done it without them- A huge thank you to all the team! We would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a stress free move day.

We have had a pretty good experience with Care Move who moved our house contents into store while a rewire was undertaken and then returned them to us.
The crews were really helpful and efficient on each trip and returned pictures to residual store which were erroneously loaded onto the truck with extremely good grace.

Excellent service from start to finish. Mike and Damian were absolutely fantastic and worked really hard, nothing was a problem and made a long move so much easier.'

I found my move to be stress free from start to finish. The men were polite and very helpful. I found the proprietor very caring and thoughtful. Bernadette put us at ease. Although we had a few different removal dates they were very patient towards our needs.

From when they arrived on Friday morning until when they left us on Friday afternoon, I cannot fault them for their manners, work ethic, enthusiasm and all round friendliness when faced with moving our house from Hall Green to Cornwall. They are a credit to yourselves and to the company

When looking for a company to relocate, we wanted a local company. Our initial contact was with Bernadette, who I have to say was so helpful, knowledgeable and informative, pointing out things we had not thought of. Our quote was competitive and everything we asked for was delivered on time and efficiently. The team arrived at the time they said they would, they were very polite and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. I would say they definitely went above and beyond what was expected. They also made the move happen very quickly. Thank you so much to Bernadette, Jay and the team for making the move look effortless and without a headache. I cant recommend the Care Move enough.

Steer clear of this company. My experience with them was not good. The staff were tired after a long day the day before. After clearing the garden shed, with muddy boots on, one member walked over my lounge carpet that had been shampood for the new occupiers. I had been told that person concerned was unhappy and had an argument with the manager that morning about his workload. Unfortunately, I was the customer who suffered.
The van was loaded with little respect for my belongings, crammed, disorganised and untidy. I had damage (a large hole) to a bed headboard that I was only offered £25 pounds for. The female owner was rude, abrupt, very argumentative, and totally unprofessional about resolving the situation, stating the insurance was only for transporting the goods in transit.... Also I have never found a garden spike machine that should have been loaded... I will say the receptionist, 2 of the 3 removal staff were polite and good lads and I hope this review does not reflect on them personally. But the so called "team leader"? Paul, and owner are a poor reflection of what customers should expect from a so called professional removal company.

We split the move into two sections across two days. The first day went well, sadly the second day did not go well at all. Lorry arrived an hour and 20 minutes late which was critical in that we had to get out by lunchtime. They didn’t send a large enough team of Removals men, resulting in a disgruntled team who had to work very late and he rather rushed in the last section. I had labelled one box fragile do not put anything on this box, so was not happy when I found it under four other boxes with some broken glass inside. Our possessions were rather shuvved into the storage unit with an expensive bed head next to a dirty garden pot. The removals team who attended worked hard but they were not supported by their management. I found the chief exec rather abrupt and blunt in her manner. She had no time to hear my concerns.
