Engineer Owen Bailey

The experienced engineer, Owen Bailey, worked very hard to resolve the difficult and complex problem with my gas central heating system over five-and-a- half anxious days . This required perseverance and intelligence. He was also considerate in ensuring my personal safety throughout the job.

We had two plumbing problems fixed

We had two plumbing problems including our downstairs toilet which we had to switch off as it continued to flush non-stop.
We contacted Careplan who sent a plumber to analyse the problems. We had to wait several days but the same plumber returned today and quickly mended both problems. Thank you Careplan and the plumber involved.

Engineer attended promptly

Engineer attended promptly and assessed the problem with my bath. The necessary parts were ordered quickly, I was kept informed at all stages, and the engineer attended again 3 days later and fitted ther new parts quickly and efficiently. I received a follow-up phone call from the office to confirm that everything was done to my satisfaction. Excellent Service all round!

Expensive service for nothing

signed up to Care Club to reduce potential expenditure on plumbing. I signed in November and reported a leak from my Shower in January. They sent a plumber in the time window promised at 9:30. The plumber left at 9:45 to look for a part. We heard nothing more and at 2:00 pm, I called The care Club customer service, who said they would call me back. I still hadn't heard anything by 3:45 and again called. I then spoke to Benjamin who informed me that the part required was obsolete and couldn't be fixed, so it fell outside the terms and conditions of the agreement. They said they could offer a replacement , like for like at a cost of £560. When I said that was outrageous service and that I would cancel my direct debit, it was pointed out that the only way of cancelling the contract was to pay for the full 18 months, as i was beyond my 14 day cooling off period. I eventually got my shower fixed / replace for £312 and despite lengthy talks , which I had to make to their " Customer Service " department, to Salma and Aimen, no concessions were made , even though I offered to pay for half the contact to end it for effectively no service or anticipated service whatsoever. I have now paid the full 18 month total £190,as I am heartily sick of my dealings with this company.

Hi,

Following your claim, our engineer attended promptly and identified that the issue related to a shower unit where the required part was no longer available.

As a result, the shower was deemed beyond economic repair, which falls outside the scope of the plan. A replacement option was provided in line with this assessment.

You later advised that the shower had been repaired elsewhere. As this conflicted with our diagnosis, we requested a third-party report which is standard practice. This confirmed that the shower had in fact been replaced, not repaired, which supports the original assessment made by our engineer.

In relation to cancellation, your plan is a fixed-term agreement. As the service had been used and the cooling-off period had passed, the terms of the contract continued to apply. This was explained by our team during your conversations.

We understand this was not the outcome you had hoped for, however the claim was assessed and handled in line with the terms of the plan.

Good response to complaint my previous review.

After a few problems that took some time to solve , I contacted Care club and explained why I was disappointed in their services. Within a day they returned my call to apologise
and arranged to get it fixed, The plumber arrived on time and sorted all my problems out.
Accepting that mistakes happen I must report that once they were aware of my problems they reacted promptly and were very pleasant.
In view of this response I have awarded 5 stars for client satisfaction and will be renewing my membership

Simple replacement of a bathroom fan

A simple replacement of a bathroom. First didn't show up - so it was re-aaranged. Second guy didn't show up - it it was to be re-arranged. Their sub-contarctor wasn't returning calls - so no date fixed. I got bolshie and suddenly a guy appeared that evening. Did a great job in 15 minutes - but far too long to wait for Care Plan action

Sam and Ryan were engineers today

Sam and Ryan were engineers today. They were here for my annual service and went above and beyond. They are very efficient and tidy, kept me informed every step of the way as I had a pressure problem with the boiler. They put me in the right direction and the problem is now being solved with the manufacturer. They were able to let me know my warranty is valid for another few years. They were excellent and I wish every person I dealt with had half the professionalism and work ethic that those two gents had today. Thank you so much. I will be staying with Rightio, and highly recommend the company.
