When there's no power higher up, that's unfortunately where staff can get away with anything.
Very poor standard of care. Hard to trust a company who back their staff and don't care about the service user. Sending 4 staff in to 1 vulnerable man can be seen as intimidation especially when there's no explanation of them been inside his home, no introduction as to their identity, and only 2 staff should be present. Most recently, staff taking pictures of the service user without consent which is wrong, despite this already been a subject brought up as its happened before. As a care company they should know this isn't something they should be doing.
Another thing that's recent just today, due to service user displaying agression as a result carers left leaving him with no food or drink, absolutely cruel to treat a dementia sufferer or anyone for that matter like that. Imagine if the shoe was on the other foot and it was their relative.
