Cap rouge sold me a Dud Battery.
Purchased a used battery pack from Cap Rouge in 2020. I reported intermittent connection issues early during the warranty period in 2021 and received troubleshooting assistance at the time. The issue later reoccurred and never went away .
Cap Rouge advised they could not assist further due to the age of the battery, the fact it was not returned during the original warranty period, and because the pack had since been opened for inspection. They offered a $100 discount toward a replacement battery.
While I appreciate the responses provided, I was disappointed a more substantial repair or goodwill solution could not be reached given the original fault history and cost of the battery. Distance and lithium battery freight practicality were also factors in not pursuing the matter further.
