I received a letter saying I owe money to EDF - never heard of them.

Same… I’m also being harassed by these scammers. Claiming I owe money to SSE but SSE have assured me that I’m in credit. It’s scary to see how people are here flagging this and nothing is being done about it.
We all need to take a stand here!

Attempted scam,phishing.keep telling me I have an unpaid virgin bill(never ever had a virgin product)

Scam debt collectors. Recently started being emailed, called and receiving text messages about an outstanding bill for Virgin Media who I haven’t used for 4 years. My anxiety would never let me ignore a bill for this long so they’re really picking on the wrong person…..

Thank goodness the Directors of Capital Resolve are doing Suicide Awareness training, as they attempt to drive us to it. SSE and OVO should be ashamed of their harassment and attempted extortion of customers.

Despicable false debt chasers and harassers for the failed SSE business now poorly run by OVO and Stephen Fitzpatrick. They owe me 5 months illegally withheld government energy credit. They have failed to provide me any bills yet chase a fictitious gas bill and keep quiet about elec, presumably because it shows them owing me £331!

Left SSE with credit on the electricity meter and now I am being told I owe them instead because of a mistake they made. I have been harassed by these stalkers at Capital Resolve making phone calls to me with robotic voices, sending text mesages, emails etc.. Now they're asking for more money for having harassed me. They have brought me immense anxiety and suffering with their lies and evil and I have no power to fight against them. There is no justice in this country.

Avoid SSE.

I hope that the people at SSE and Capital Resolve pray for God's forgiveness every day because they're going to need forgiveness more than most.

Just recently started to be harassed by these people phone calls texts and emails. I left Virgin Media several years ago and left with virgin owing me money. Now being told I owe money. I’m finding the whole situation very stressful.

Bunch of idi ots! This company is run by imbeciles who can't solve the simplest of problems. Contact = waste of time

Started harassing me a month after my SSE account was closed asking me to pay. when i told them it was sorted a month ago they wanted proof and my bank details. They can politely go away. if you get calls, emails and letters from these guys about bills you know you have paid block them.

Constantly calling- I blocked their number and now I am receiving the same automated voicemail every day, it is filling up my mailbox. I tried phoning back and had no idea what option to choose so just left it. Not sure what this is but seems a total scam.
Just leave me alone.

Ref 624193799803/S2154698 Can Capital resolve email me with a link that I can correspond to because they sent me numerous emails that can't be replied for a bogus Sky debt that was resolved by another debt debt collection agency as bad trading conduct. I will not reply on a debt collection portal as I do not owe that money.

Sent a demand for £80.00 which had been written off already.
Hoping to get money for nothing.

Awful company. I left virgin media 3 years ago, paid all amounts due to them at the time I left and had this confirmed by a virgin employee on the phone (they said they could not send me written confirmation). Out of the blue cap resolve now calling and texting me saying that i owe virgin money. I have tried to call them to let them know they have made a mistake and no one answers but they still keep harassing me with messages that include no further details other than “you owe virgin money”. This company needs to be investigated and properly regulated so that they cannot continue to operate like this. No smoke without fire and the comments here represent a lot of smoke

Absolute vile company to deal with, despite being disputed our final EDF bill was referred to them, letters were sent to wrong name, constantly hounded by letters, emails & texts all times of the day from them yet it’s impossible to speak to a human being. My complaint was not upheld and they still continue to send letters to wrong name. I will be referring them to the ombudsman for further investigation.

100% Scammers!! They keep sending me texts and trying to call me saying I owe money to Virgin Media. I haven’t used virgin media for 4-5 years and I don’t have any outstanding payments with Virgin either. Also if you search Virgin Media Capital resolve nothing comes up. They are trying their luck to make you feel scared but I’m not!

Capital Resolve Limited, have become involved in sending out threatening letters, purportedly to be from SSE, that mean additional fees (in my case £500), are added to the balance of debts, which have already been dealt with by court action. This seems to amount to obtaining a pecuniary advantage by deception, and seems a highly dubious way to increase the amount owing? I have the faked up SSE letter from Capital Resolve, and would be pleased to provide a copy to Trustpilot if required. SSE themselves ARE aware of scams such as this, and suggest sending out these letters, is a simple mistake.

Paid everything up to date to BG before transferring to a new supplier 3 years ago! 3 years later get bombarded with letters emails and texts from Capital Resolve, spoke to the most unprofessional miserable woman! Apparently still owe BG nearly 309 quid! No other info, went through my bank statements all paid up. No letters from BG in regards to these arrears, something not adding up.

Awful awful company who should be banned from trading
