I actually can't fault Phil at Capital Private Finance. He has been a joy to work with, throughout what can be a very daunting process of mortgage application. Right from the initial days of enquiry, many months ago to last Friday exchanging on the property of my dreams. Even in the early stages, when no fee had been paid and I was speaking with several brokers, Phil gave me the time that was needed for me to feel confident in the process. When the process suddenly became stressful and I was required to get a new mortgage offer in a matter of days, due to a reduction on the sale price, Phil stepped up, phoning my mortgage provider on a daily basis and never giving up. Needless to say, I got the mortgage I required and was able to continue with my purchase. My circumstances weren't straightforward, so it would have been a difficult process for me to navigate alone. From the very start John Thirkill was nothing but transparent, highly responsive and extremely helpful. We shopped around a few mortgage brokers before we decided to go ahead with John, but John's level of dedication truly stood out from the rest. This company prides itself with being a prestigiuos financial services company with special access to private banks and specialist lenders. They claim they are capable at dealing with complex transactions and funding requirements.

I unfortunately worked with them on a very simple mortgage deal and I have to say I was hugely underwhelmed by the lack of competence, access and proactiveness.

Also when trying to get in touch on phone numbers and emails, you will speak to people who belong to Hamptons International, not even knowing about the existence of Capital Private Finance. At first I thought it was a scam but then realised that they are just purely unprofessional and an empty shell of non prestigous incompetence.

Not worth the money they charge and I would not recommend them to anyone.
