Great product. Amazing customer service
I was very impressed with my Bell tent when it first arrived . The ordering process was super smooth and the quality of the hardware and the finishings seemed excellent. I had replaced my previous bell tent, an English made one I kept 25 years, with top of the range Canvas Camp Sibley Apex. After a week, the mosquito net zip came off its rail. I'm a professional seamstress so I fixed it. Accidents happen...
Customer service was remarkable yet again !
The commercial gestures they made to compensate for my trouble was commendable. I am most grateful!
I have no doubt this tent will accompany us for many years to come. We live in Spain, and our Bell tent is our guest room. It stays up from May to October, which is why we wanted the best quality available on the market.

Expérience incomparable, rapide à monter et démonter elle a rendu notre voyage en Norvège confortable, malgré les vents puissants, les pluies diluviennes, et entre les gouttes et les embruns, le soleil qui ne se couche jamais. Who's in charge of your shipping, CanvasCamp?
On June 8, I ordered and paid for a $33 Japanese weeding hoe (with an additional $10 for shipping).
On June 25, UPS came to my door with the package, which was sent COD with a required payment of $217.
I refused delivery, since he could not hand over the package without the required $217 COD, and I was not about to hand over a single cent for something I had already paid for.
I contacted Canvas Camp and left a one-star review with Trustpilot.
Update: Canvas Camp questioned my one-star review, saying it must have been intended for another company (even though I had emailed them). I affirmed with Trustpilot that it was indeed intended for Canvas Camp. I then received an email from Canvas Camp responding to my email; they are sending me another Japanese weeding hoe, with no additional costs, and are checking with their warehouse to see how the original one could have been sent to me with the additional COD bill. As soon as I receive the new weeding hoe, I will come back here with another updated review. But I do appreciate their response to my email, even if in the meantime they disputed my original review--these could have come from two different departments.

Canvascamp Big Horn
Denk je erover om deze tent aan te schaffen, doe het dan niet.
Wij vinden hem ruim, makkelijk op te zetten, vaste luifel en daarmee wat wij zochten.
Maar zowel tent als Canvascamp zijn er niet klaar voor om het op de markt te brengen.
Tentstokken met roest, beschadigingen en incompleet. En dat tot 2 maal toe. Geld terug kunnen krijgen maar alleen als op eigen kosten de tent word geretourneerd. (Denk aan paar honderd euro). Geen opzet instructie.
En het meest onveilige is nog wel het omvallen van de tent in de nacht. Dat had veel erger kunnen aflopen.
Al deze problemen zijn bekend bij Canvascamp. Zij hebben ook al oplossingen, maar zij reageren alleen na meldingen/klachten van onze kant. Communicatie vind alleen per mail plaats en herhaaldelijk wordt een deel van onze vragen/opmerkingen genegeerd.
De communicatie is dus slecht!

Bedankt voor het delen van jullie uitgebreide ervaring, hoe moeilijk ook, we waarderen jullie eerlijke feedback.
Het spijt ons oprecht te horen dat het aankoopproces zo teleurstellend is verlopen. Dat is uiteraard niet wat we voor ogen hebben.
We hebben geprobeerd meerdere oplossingen aan te bieden en in overleg een richting te vinden die voor jullie werkte. Zoals telefonisch besproken, waren we bereid de tent terug te nemen en terug te betalen. De retourkosten zijn inderdaad voor eigen rekening zoals vermeld in onze voorwaarden al begrijpen we dat dit bijzonder frustrerend is gezien jullie situatie.
De opmerkingen nemen we serieus, de nieuwe palenset van de nieuwe productie zal ook gratis verzonden worden zodra beschikbaar. Deze melding is intern besproken met ons productieteam voor verdere opvolging.
We vinden het jammer dat onze communicatie als onvolledig werd ervaren. We streven steeds naar duidelijkheid, maar we nemen jullie ervaring hierin mee als belangrijk leermoment.
Mocht er ondanks alles nog iets zijn dat we voor jullie kunnen doen, staan we daar uiteraard voor open.

We vinden het erg jammer dat uw bestelling niet is verlopen zoals u had gehoopt. We hebben geprobeerd u zo goed mogelijk te ondersteunen, ook toen het ging om een redelijk last-minute levering en hebben in overleg verschillende opties aangeboden om het toch mogelijk te maken. Het spijt ons dan ook te lezen dat dit uiteindelijk niet naar wens is verlopen.
Wat betreft de kokosmatten begrijpen we dat smaken en verwachtingen kunnen verschillen. Omdat het hierbij om een retour op basis van persoonlijke voorkeur ging en niet om een fout of defect, vallen de retourkosten inderdaad ten laste van de klant, zoals vermeld in onze voorwaarden.
We hopen alsnog dat u uw aankoop verder met plezier kan gebruiken en waarderen uw feedback die helpt ons om onze communicatie en service verder te blijven verbeteren.

Love the tent
Love the tent, quality looks superb. 5M Sibley ProTech is very spacious and cozy. Good ventilation, however you need to unzip the floor and walls and zip in the mesh walls with floor. Maybe it is worth to invest more and buy apex, which has both mesh and walls zipped in. We unpacked it only to check the tent, but looking forward to our trip in the summer.

The ventilation system is definitely one of its strong points, and while switching between the canvas walls and mesh takes a little effort, it’s great to have the flexibility depending on the weather and your needs. If convenience, durability and comfort is a priority, the Apex series is certainly worth considering, as it offers an integrated mesh and wall zipper system for an even smoother setup.

Das Mouflon Zelt
Das Mouflon Zelt hatte mich angesprochen durch sein sehr einfachen Aufbau und für canvascamp eher leichten Gewicht.
Das Zelt wurde schnell geliefert. Leider wurde an einem sehr entscheidenen Teil, das unter Spannung steht, eine Schraube nicht mit der Mutter verschraubt - und zwar beim Pop-up Ziehsystem. Das war sehr ärgerlich und es brauchte viel Kraft, Geduld, Hilfe und Aufwand diese Panne in der Fertigstellung auszubügeln. Nach einer Stunde Aufbau und Fummeln stand das Zelt und leistet großartige Dienste.

Great product and service! The team were very responsive to all enquiries and dispatch was speedy. Received our 5x7m wall tent from Belgium to Tasmania within a week! Although we couldn't locate the instructions with the packages or online, setup was quite intuitive and easy for such a large tent. Beyond pleased with our tent.

Great products, when they are available, and if you're able to research online on how to use them.
I would say overall, I love the product and using the tent. As far as availability in the us, I would say it is lacking. If I go on to the websites for canvas camp, overseas. There is a larger availability of merchandise. In the US there is less. Which has me going to other companies for similar products. Also, when I purchased the tent I found myself having to go online and contacting customer support for instructions because the setup instructions that came with the tents didn't clarify everything. For example, the white loops on the outside of the tent are only if you're removing the floor.
