The manager was also very helpful, Jamie arranged a longer test drive so that my dad (who isn't as mobile as he once was) could look over the car we were interested in.

I first contacted CMW regarding a car that had only just arrived at their showroom. For a reasonable fee, they were able to reserve the car prior to my 3hr journey. They even collected and dropped me off at the local train station. I was given the opportunity to test drive the car, they offerred me a 3month warranty and shared a significant amount of HPI search information to reassure me.

I was dealt with by Jamie. Who was very helpful and friendly. He answered all my questions i did not feel pressured at any point of sale. There was a couple of little bits that i addressed when purchasing the car. Which was all sorted for when I picked it up. I would highly recommend

Aaron and Jamie listened to all my requirements and gave me a number of options to choose from and the freedom without any pressure to look at the vehicles on my own without any pressure.
Gave a Great price on my part exchange and the hand over to my new car was smooth and quick.
Finally offered me peace of mind with a run through of the new controls also supplied with the warranty on my new pride and joy.

This is my second time buying a car from Canterbury Motoring World & I have found that the personnel I have dealt with to be helpful, professional & courteous
Time was taken to explain the aspects of the car I chose to buy.

Purchased a BMW 118D sport and within 4 days a problem with it automatically braking when going over 50mph started - no brake lights came on, so clearly very concerned.
Called the office first thing the following morning requesting they take it in and look at it and explained that we would need a courtesy car - spoke to two different salesman - one who had no customer service skills and the other who was rude - explaining that he had no courtesy cars but if he had a magic wand he would wave it and get me one. When I said I was disgusted with the customer service he asked why and then continued to speak over me when I tried to respond.
I have now taken the BMW back and received a full refund - will not be returning!
Update 28/03/24 - Car is straight back on forecourt for £500 more than we purchased it for - BEWARE - manager told me mechanic couldn’t look at problem until after Easter Bank holiday but it is straight back on sale - BMW 1 Series 118D M Sport - White - LF14 HWR
