I reluctantly had to give a star to be able to continue. I have been trying for months to have f-secure removed because it allowed a porn channel entry and blocked all my payments when I tried to donate to charity. Finally a lovely young man called Francis, a technical team adviser, solved the problem. I was being charged for this service and it should have been free therefore it could not be removed. Francis achieved this tonight. I have spent MANY HOURS trying to have this sorted.. Tomorrow I look for compensation!

Ved ikke hvor godt F-Secure virke som anti virus program. MEN deres VPN er alt for dårligt. man kan ikke bruge den på samme tid som netflix og min skole har blokeret den. Så kan ikke bruge den til noget.

altså deres anti virus virker sikkert men deres VPN virker ikke og kan ikke finde et sted hvor jeg kun kunne anmeld deres VPN

Hej programmet popper hver dag op i den sidste måneds tid af en periode om fornyelse mit udløber 15 maj når jeg klikker på forny får jeg at vide at den er fornyet, selv om det hverken ikke er tilfældet skal jeg vente til den er gået over 15 maj og prøve igen

Don’t bother, absolute waste of time. F secure safe came with ad blocker which o thought would be handy on my iPhone. Turns out it blocked most featured pages on safari as they came up as ‘ads’. I contacted customer support and they told me that ad blocker for IOS doesn’t exist. I messed around on the app the try and turn it off in the AD BLOCKER icon (even though it doesn’t exist apparently) and there was no way to turn it off. The website was also useless and I was unable to cancel my subscription. I deleted the app in the end and low and behold, nothing is blocked on safari and all works fine.

Useless. Pointless. Unhelpful customer service staff that clearly don’t know the software.

I have a subscription for 3 devices. However it is impossible to activate it for 2 of them and there is NO possibility to contact support to get help. None of the links work and i cannot even use my login to login to their community pages.
F-Secure used to be good, now I think they are a Russian fake company. Will never use them again.

When contacting them in English, I get the following response:

I have been trying to activate my subscription for my devices (where I already before had the subscription), but I am not able to.
Fix this NOW please. I need the subscription to work in 2 hours.

Absolute rubbish. Online banking becomes near impossible due to F Secure popping up all the time.

If you click 'End' button it disappears for a while then pops up again.

The only way to regain control is to uninstall it.

Terrible company wont stop emailing me I changed to postoffice broadband which includes free f secure of which I would have taken but they keep emailing me to sign up . I have explained I have never been given an account number from post office after 7 calls . I'm 84 disabled and this is very distressing PLEASE STOP EMAILING ME

I have F-Secure Safe now and my experience is positive overall. A few areas to improve - 1.Firewall. I understand that many products of Internet Security class use Windows firewall, Bullguard for example. But Bullguard has an additional module built in that helps to set rules for programs, and helps to see which ones connected to the web recently. This one doesn't have this. 2. Updates. You don't have any control over them. F-Secure Safe updates every hour, so take it, or leave it. Let the user decide how often he wants it to happen. I've seen the statistics that F-Secure does well in tests, so I'd give it 4,5.

Terrible in every way. Even AVG FREE version picks up malicious websites, whilst F-Secutre fails. Never buy this!

Mr L. H.-H. is not professional and his attitude is very bad. The support is just a fake. Bad experience.

Anti-virus product constantly crashes my laptop.

Support is non-existent from my short experience with this provider. I'd seriously advise against this as an anti-virus solution.

I tried to pay for F-Secure Freedome, I completed my online payment and indeed received an acknowledgement which said a further email would follow with set up details. None came and I tried to contact them. Eventually got through on the telephone to a very unhelpful agent and gave up as she was no help at all. Spent ages trying to make contact with online chat but this is mostly closed. When I finally reached an agent he said that the payment had been declined and I should pay again! I refused to do this and contacted my Bank who said there had been no request for payment at all!!! A very unprofessional company which I would not receommend!

Jeg har betalt for F-secure key, som jeg egentlig synes virker godt. Men den skal kunne virke mellem min mobil og laptop. Selv om jeg har betalt for et år, beder den mig om at købe deres produkt.
Intet står omkring dette problem på deres support-side.
Så jeg ringer til support, først på dansk efter 15 min. venten med irriterende musik, kan jeg forkorte ventetiden ved at vælge Svensk... Det samme efter 15 min.venten (samme musik), kan jeg stilles om på engelsk hvor jeg indtil har ventet i 28 min. (stadig samme musik).... Og eneste melding er at jeg kan kigge på deres hjemmeside for løsning... 🤬🤬
Er det noget denne kundeservice ikke er er det kunde service.

I tillæg har jeg nu fundet ud af at når man ringer til dansk support, kommer man i en urimelig lang ventetid, hvor man konstant bliver opfordret til at kontakte support på svensk eller engelsk, fordi de har "ekstraordinært travlt" men det har de uanset hvornår man ringer.. Jeg har prøvet 4 gange med mere end 30 min ventetid. Det viser sig nemlig at der er slet ingen dansk support... FLOT !!

I subscribed F-Secure Total (includes Freedome and F-Secure Safe) for a year. The product have been very poor (as I have used it for both on Mac computer and iPhone).

The Freedome application (on computer) always works a while, and after few days it stops working and does not even start anymore; then I have to remove it and download again – and it works again just for a few days. However, there has not been any problems with Freedome on iPhone.

The F-Secure Total application does not update itself automatically, and asks very often you to update it manually. After installing the update, the application has always lost the subscription; you have to sign in to F-Secure website and connect the subscription to your computer again. It sounds just a little annoying, but when you have to do it again and again, it takes a lot of time and is very frustrating.

Same problems have lasted for 11 months now, so it's not temporary. The product might be good on Windows computer, but on Mac – I really cannot recommend.

Die Produkte: F-Secure SAFE & F-Secure Freedom VPN sind ein totaler Reinfall und Haushoher Bullshit, um es unverblühmt zu sagen!

Denn der Virenschutz hat meinen PC so stark ausgebremst, dass ein Normales Arbeiten nicht mehr möglich war, und der VPN-Dienst hat auch nur ein einziges Mal funktioniert!

Und will man die beiden Bullshit-Programme Deinstallieren, bekommt man die Datei: fshook32.dll partout nicht gelöscht!

Daher bin ich froh, dass ich für diesen Bullshit kein Geld rausgehauen hab! Ich habe diese Programme aus dem Chip Adventskalender!

FINGER WEG VON DIESEN BULLSHIT-PROGRAMMEN!!!

Det værste skodprogram jeg nogensinde har haft på min pc.Er vant til at bruge avasts,som spørger om man vil gemme login,hver gang man logger ind et nyt sted,og så er det gemt.Hvis man f.eks har over 50 logins vil det tage 7 år og en eftermiddag,da man selv skal sætte både login og url adresser ind manuelt.Man kan ikke engang kopiere dem ind.VÆRDILØST

I was very disappointed in the attitude of the pushy staff of this F-Secure. I was looking for a simple solution for two pcs but they insisted on passing me to one of their agents for an expensive and time wasting solution. Needless to say I rejected their unrealistic option!
This attitude of "one system fits all" is wrong and I will be sticking with good old AVG!

Popper op med "Abonnement udløber om xx dage" hver evigt eneste dag den sidste måned inden udløb. Dette dagligt tilbagevendende pop-up vindue kan IKKE fjernes, med mindre man køber en ny abonnementsnøgle.
Den nye abonnementsnøgle aktiverer man så, hvorefter man har mistet alle de dage der var tilbage af det gamle abonnement, da den nye abonnementsnøgle virker 12 måneder fra den dag man indtaster den, Ikke skide smart.... for så mister man de dage man havde tilbage fra det tidligere betalte abonnement.

Ellers ganske tilfreds med produktet ;-)
