2 of these (6 balloons) were ordered a month in advance; intended to form a table centrepiece for a decade birthday celebration. 2 small plain grey helium balloons were delivered to venue instead. Cakebox Branch would not answer their phone (on the day and subsequent days). Head Office support came via chat/e mail (they wouldn’t answer the phone either as ‘we are very busy’). Head Office lied to say they’d checked with the shop and the balloons were delivered in full to the venue, blaming the venue of stealing the balloons! They suggested we ask the venue for their cctv footage. After some days of further questioning, head office admitted it was their fault and a refund was issued. Given that the balloon order formed part of a larger order including celebration cake, candles etc, there was no doubt how important the balloons were to the celebration. They let us down badly without explanation and with a begrudged apology.
