Gave me the confidence to have my home birth. Being high risk, bullied and wrongly informed by healthcare providers, I was so nervous about going ahead but Sam gave me amazing advice all the way through

Sam is simply wonderful and a must for all pregnant women! We hired Sam to be our doula for our planned home birth which didn’t end up happening - we had a planned c section due to a breech baby. Even though she couldn’t be at the birth she still supported us throughout pregnancy, birth and newborn care. She came to our home a few times and gave us tons of invaluable information and resources. We learned so much about all things babies and birth thanks to Sam.

Sam is a fountain of knowledge and I managed to have such an empowering birth thanks to her advice and support even though it wasn’t the birth we originally wanted. The Home Birth UK support group on Facebook set up by Sam has also been an amazing help throughout pregnancy and the Village Group for parenting help and advice. Sam spends so much time running these and is so passionate about making sure women are supported and listened to. I’d recommend Sam to anyone expecting or for newborn help. She’s like a friend to our family now & is still always checking in on us. An amazing support, thank you Sam❤️

Sam has helped me face to face (virtually) twice and helped me through group maybe a million times. This woman has a heart the size of Wales and she cares, by God does she care. She cares about the woman, she cares about your health. She knows what’s what and helped me navigate unnecessary medical procedures with my first and now she is helping me overcome something else a bit too personal for a review!

She is informed and kind and she has soothes me in troubled times.

Her groups have been life saving for me. 10/10 would recommend.

I’m in two groups Samantha has initiated on Facebook. And her advice and support is amazing. She’s so knowledgeable and empathic and helps everyone of us in the way they need to be helped. Unfortunately I’ll be too far away for her to be my doula when my second one is due. Otherwise I’d be sure to choose her!!! ❤️

Sam runs two large online community groups that focus on providing support to women and families from pregnancy through to the more trivial things in life as well as the more serious. Through Sam's work I felt empowered to question the "data" that I was presented with that inferred an induction was required. The scan was completely incorrect and I gave birth to a healthy girl albeit via Oxytocin drip but a week later and on my terms. Sam also provides support in child led parenting and her groups are somewhere to rationalize decisions and receive evidence based support. She's nothing short of brilliant.

I can not recommend Samanthas support enough. This woman got me through a very difficult, lonely & scary time of my life. She opened my eyes and helped me gain the strength mentally and thanks to her I safely delivered my baby with no intervention what so ever. This was my choice, Samantha offers a non judgemental zone, that I found extremely refreshing. She allowed me to explore the birth I wanted for MY baby and I achieved this through her and her many supportive advocates on her Facebook page. During the time of my pregnancy her page was my favourite to scroll through, I learned so much and for that I will always be grateful and show support in return!

I have found Samantha's group and her courses and her support invaluable as a resource for not only myself but also the women I have supported over the years who have experienced obstretic violence and who have PTSD due to their hospital birth experiences. She is evidenced based and a wealth of knowledge and experience and her expertise are so rare nowadays that I cannot recommend her enough to anyone in this field.

One of the most knowledgeable birth workers out there. Sam provides a wide range of services supporting so many. She has regularly provided me with empowering answers and advice.

You only need to look at the recent stats from her 'Homebirth Support Group UK' on Facebook to see the difference she makes

'- 90% vaginal birth rate - 90% - in a group where so many are classed as high risk. 99% of babies born at home breastfed, 97% skin to skin.'

Anyone lucky enough to work with her has struck gold.

I would thoroughly recommend Sam. Sam is a passionate and capable birthworker who has a huge amount of experience to share and a deep wisdom. Sam listens to you and hears who you are on a deep level and will hold you up and keep your birth space sacred and orientated around what you want.

If I am blessed with another pregnancy Samantha would be my Doula of choice.

Sam is always amazingly supportive and completely unbiased in providing information regarding pregnancy and labour - takes so little for the help she provides! Her homebirth support facebook group and her freebirthing course have been invaluable to me to inform myself and make the decisions needed to have two successful homebirths and another freebirth . Samantha is a jewel. Her groups are a lifeline for many women and birthing people who choose to homebirth and choose alternative parenting styles. I have amassed a wealth of knowledge and she has had a lasting impact on me personally. She is very transparent, passionate and bubbly and puts birthing women and people at the heart of what she does. I cannot praise her enough.
