These folks supply quality Western Red Cedar hives which are precisely machined so that they fit together well.....well priced and supplied with a quality deep roof.

I ordered 2 national hives, some additional supers and a couple of Nuc's too. I am not super handy with putting things together so asked for these items to come fully assembled. They arrived and are absolutely fab. They are really solid and well constructed. Having set up all of the equipment I am really pleased and feel like they are going to last for a very long time and represent really good value for money. Basically I'm a very happy customer.

I ordered a National Hive (Deep brood with gabled roof). Placed the order on Wednesday and received the hive Friday. Pete answered my query regarding p&p to Northern Ireland very quickly and the total price was very reasonable. The hive is great quality, made from Cedar with clear assembly instruction. This is the second hive I’ve bought from Caddon Hives but it won’t be the last. Thanks.

This was my second order for two national nuc boxes, previously it was for 4 Langstroths hives for our Association training apiary.

Can't fault the quality and accuracy of the joints. Would highly recommend as good value and quality for the money.

I bought two National hives and they arrived very well packaged and were very easy to assemble. A missing item was quickly delivered with out question.
Caddon-hives have been helpful throughout the order process and seem to be a good old fashioned customer friendly company.

I bought 5 blue tit nest boxes from Caddon. They are really well-made, solid and very easy to assemble even for an office boy like me.

I have not found boxes of this quality at anything like this price.

Great quality of hives - real cedar, no knots, good alignment, great smell (!!!). The instructions could be more detailed but once you build one hive, you will know what and how. I had runners missing off my brood box which they sent after I let them know.

National hive with flat roof. Just ordered a second hive, very pleased with the first one. Well made and good value. Caddon were recommended when I started bee keeping and I can see why.

This is my second national that I’ve ordered from Caddon and its just as good as the first – a talented team who clearly pay attention to the details. Great service and I'd recommend without any hesitation.

Ordered a complete National hive plus frames and foundation to be collected at Beetradex in March. Collected a number of boxes from the company van, but wasn’t able to unpack them for a couple of days. When I did, the quality of the cedar wood looked excellent, much better than one I had purchased from another manufacturer, which was also more expensive than Caddon. A slight hiccup with the wrong roof being included and the incorrect number of frames, but that was sorted out within a week at no further expense to me. During construction one part of a super side hadn’t been cut properly, but I managed to sort it myself. Overall, good quality and price. Maybe the downloadable instructions could be made a bit clearer.
