Friendly guys, dropped off my order in the back garden without any fuss. Easy

We purchased a pergola from White Stores in Wickford. We paid for professional installation with Byeway installation but received really poor service. The original installers
Were excellent however couldn’t complete the job as our patio sloped too much and we needed to sort this so the height would be correct. We arranged to have this done two days later by a professional landscaper. We waited two weeks before Byeway could arrange a visit. When the installers came, not the original guys, they were very polite however didn’t leave the pergola to our satisfaction. One of the new slabs was broken caused by a too strong drill, and they had to go and buy cement to repair it before being able to drill again! One of the other pillars was not in the correct place and we cannot now open our kitchen window. The outdoor heater was erected correctly but the cables were left hanging down and same with the lighting! They said they didn’t have any clips to hide the cables and they were left in a mess on the ground / hardly safe!
Also I had to even supply batteries for the two remotes! Lucky I had some! One pillar was scratched and they didn’t attempt to clean it. Maybe they took advantage of me being a woman - had my husband been here I’m sure it wouldn’t have been left in such a poor state.
Today they gave me a date to visit and complete the installation but unfortunately that’s not suitable for us.
All in all I’m extremely disappointed in the installation and service and request a refund of the charge. Not a good experience at all

Guys that fitted it were awesome, just delayed contact from Byeway to actually arrange delivery or would have got 5 stars.

Such nice delivery men, so cheerful and helpful. Got a delivery window and on the day they called me when half an hour away.

The boys got stuck in a lane by a fallen tree but still delivered on time. Really nice guys who couldn’t have been more helpful. Excellent service.

The guys delivering were great and brought it into our garden for us!

Right from the start we were kept up-to-date with our delivery. We received an email informing us that the package was ready for delivery and a date it would be delivered. This date wasn't convenient so they rescheduled it and let's us know if that wasn't convenient we could reschedule again.
The guys who came with the package or should I say packages happily took them around the back of the property.
We're very polite and friendly.

Good notification of when delivery due, could track and had a phone call prior to arrival. Both delivery drivers polite and respectful of property. Delivered and assembled furniture swiftly and neatly.

The item was delivered damaged, and it was clear this was deliberately concealed. Although I was kept informed about the delivery schedule, the goods arrived on time, and the staff were friendly, the fact that the item was damaged only warrants a one-star rating.

Very helpful friendly staff even helped me unwrap and put mattress in place when I explained about my mobility issues
