Ordered on eBay on 30th June with expected delivery in 2/3 days at latest by 6th July. When not received by due date and having received no communication from company that order had been dispatched or delayed I messaged them 3 times through eBay with no response. Have tried to contact them on the phone no quoted but voice message says there is no one to answer your call & advised voicemail full. Message also advised you email them or use live chat on their website. There in live chat option avl on website. Given that website & eBay site currently show all bike colours are out of stock except green the colour I ordered the company either has supply issues or Worse. Order at your peril red flag raised.

Terrible company order and paid for trike on 24th April via eBay . No delivery or refund or no communication !?

Ordered and paid for (Via eBay thank goodness) with a delivery date 23rd June 2025.
No contact or tracking info given.

Waited in all day - but no delivery!

Numerous attempts to contact Buytricycle - but no response whatsoever.
Am getting refund from eBay, who have kept my money safe.
I will steer clear in future, as I fear it may be a scam.

De momento fatal, dos retrasos el el pedido y la imposibilidad de contactar, la pagina no reconoce ni usuario ni contraseña apesar de tener coreo de la compra.
Como puede ser?
No lo veo nada serio, teóricamente hoy tendría que llegar el triciclo, si no llega y no responden a los varios mensajes, tomaremos medidas .
A sido la experiènciamás nefasta de una compra por Internet, después de dos meses sin llegar, tener que comprar deprisa y corriendo dado que era un regalo, la gestión con la empresa era nula escueta y tardía.
Impotencia. Tendré mucho cuidado al realizar compras por este medio, dos meses nefastos planteándome denunciar y pedir daños, nada real y explícito en su página wep. Me he sentido engañada y manipulada

I bought a folding tricycle from BuyTricycle and it’s been life-changing. The low step frame makes it easy to get on and off, and I feel much more stable when riding. It’s exactly what I needed.

I purchased a tricycle back in April with a due date in May. I had to chase my order and the delivery date came and went. I spent several weeks trying to get hold of them. Finally I sent a clear email stating I wanted a refund. I was given a whole load of excuses about 'parts'. I decided, possibly foolishly, to give them one more chance as I had invested in a cycle helmet, secure locking point at my home. That date has now passed and they have not responded to the many, many messages I have sent via email, their chat bot and online question form.
I have now lodged a section 75 claim through my bank. I will be contacting trading standards asi suspect this is a scam company.
Update 25/08/25. I have suddenly been asked to provide this form with more personal information via trust pilot... I never used heard back from them after May... I then received an automated email telling me they had, had difficulty with my payment...this was after they had a #75 bank action against them. I stand by review. Sadly I have zero belief this is a legitimate company. It may well have been and if it is, then they have serious issues with their trading practices. I re read a lot of their reviews and it is interesting to see that the positive ones all come from people with limited online reviewing activity which raises questions, in my mind, about their authenticity.

Bought one second hand. The man who i brought round to service it broke the battery - contacted BuyTricycle and they replaced and shipped FOC!! Superb customer service - excellent bikes and if you have mobility/balance issues you get a renewed sense of freedom and independence (plus it's good exercise) Highly recommend

The customer service of Buytricycle is excellent. I emailed with a query on Boxing day and got a respose the next day. Buytricyle are clearly knowledgable and quickly diagnosed that I had the wrong chain which was immediately sent out. One point to make clear is that the 20" trike we received wasn't just a case of partial assembly, its a complete assmembly including brakes, cables and setting up gears etc and it inolved a bit of gentle persuasion to get the frame together. This isnt overly daunting if you are have tools and are familair with bike gears but otherwise may involve the assistance of a local bike shop, hence 4 stars not 5. At Christmas you need to give youself a couple of days for assembly time - it's not a 30 mins affair on Christmas morning. However overall really impressed with the trike once it was assembled - it runs beatifully and for my daughter with cerebal palsy it has really opened up cycling for her.

Letzte Woche habe ich eine neue Batterie für ein Fahrrad bestellt und sofort per PayPal gezahlt. Außer einer Bestätigung, dass die Order unter der Nummer # 34280 eingegangen, ist habe ich keine weiteren Meldungen erhalten. Nachfragen per E-Mail, Chat werden nicht beantwortet. Bei Anruf wird auf E-Mail verwiesen. Ja, der Liefertermin ist erst einen Tag überschritten, aber das Fahrrad wurde für eine Person mit Handikap angeschafft und es war schon schwer genug zu erklären, dass das 6 Monate alte „neue“ Fahrrad nicht mehr fährt.
Update
Heute (07.09.2024) ist ein Paket von Buytricycle zugestellt worden, könnte die Batterie sein. Test ist erst morgen möglich.
Heute (08.09.2024) die Batterie wurde halbvoll geliefert, lässt sich laden und funktioniert im Fahrrad, alles wie gewünscht. Dafür ein Danke an Buytricycle.
Im Paket waren keine Unterlagen, also auch kein Nachweis über das Kaufdatum. Für fehlende Papiere und grottenschlechte Kommunikation ziehe ich 2 Sterne ab von 5.

Keinesfalls bei dieser Firma kaufen, es gibt keine Garantie in irgendeiner Form. Auf Reklamationen, schriftlich, wiederholt keinerlei Reaktion. Es wurde eine defekte Batterie geliefert, keinerlei Garantieleistung, nicht mal ein Angebot zu preisreduziertem Ersatz. Die Räder werden auch, zwar geringfügig teurer von Amazon angeboten, aber dort hat man die Sicherheit der Garantie. Der Preisnachlass deckt nicht das Risiko.
Äusserste Vorsicht geboten. Die Behauptung des Kontakts ist falsch. Nach erneuter Aufgabe von 2 Email Adressen weiterhin keine Reaktion. Angebot neue Batterie zum halben Preis zu kaufen, da die gelieferte Batterie nur zu 50 % ladbar ist, keine Reaktion. Diese Firma will nur verkaufen ohne Qualitätskontrolle. Der geringe Preisvorteil birgt ein grosses Risiko.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!! I ordered a tricycle almost 2 months ago, but haven't received the item or the refund. They don't answer the phone and completly ignore all the emails, no customer service, outrageous. FRAUD! FRAUD!

J ai attendu 2mois pour recevoir le tricycle après beaucoup de mail et menace D annulation de commande.le tricycle et enfin arrivé,il manque cependant le panier de devant,la pompe et le dossier de l assise.malgre mes mails de relance rien n arrive.ce n est vraiment pas sérieux .je ne l ai recommande en aucun cas

The Tricycle was dispatched to me quite quickly via UPS and the pieces of the Tricycle was wrapped up like a mummy's tomb so you would think that there would be no paint chips or missing paint in places while other places suffered with overspray I notified Buytricycle as soon as I had got the pieces unwrapped sending a video and pics they said they would send some touch up paint and a Discount of the price of the Tricycle this was 17/07/23 and still after many left messages via the online message via their website and Facebook book messenger I'm still waiting waiting for both, oh but there's more on the 27/08/23 the front brakes failed completely and luckily because I was close to Halfords I pushed the Tricycle into Halfords and asked for them to investigate what had transpired they wrote me a report stating the front Brake Caliper was Defective and that it was a Manufacturer issue that I needed a new one as my brakes were not functioning as they should again I notified Buytricycle of this sending both a pic and video of the Report written by HALFORDS, on the 28/08/23 I'm told a new front Brake Caliper will be sent again I mentioned that the touch up paint has not arrived nor that no money has been discounted yet of the cost of the Tricycle, I'm told that all that will be sorted that week so I wait and I wait and then I remembered that I met a person at Arrow Valley Lake who was checking over visitors bikes using his mobile Workshop along side the RTS who was giving out puncture repair kits and front and rear lights for bicycles these fitted with no issue to my Tricycle, same thing can't be said for the front light that comes with your £899 Scout E Tricycle no that light does not fit to the front frame at all with the given rubber strip and if you fit the free Basket you cannot fit any lighting unless you use Handlebar Extensions so that the lights I have 2 can be placed so that the basket does not obscure your front facing lights, A front facing light from Light in the box fitted both the frame without the basket in place and fitted to the Extension pieces and by using the spare rubber strips was finnally able to fit the light that came with the Tricycle again I had messaged asking for assistance with the front light not fitting from the first time I tried to fit it to the Tricycle this fell on death ears hence I purchased another front light this one is USB rechargeable and has a sensor that when it goes dark it activates the light automatically, now you would think that the light that came with my £899 Scout E Tricycle would be better nope all is given is a glorified flashlight powered by 3x AAA batteries with no sensors just on and off functionality anyway I digress the Chap remembered me as my Tricycle was quite striking and he asked what was the matter I told him about the brakes failing and that Halfords had written a report stating the The front brakes were defective and that I had been waiting for Buytricycle to send a replacement front Brake Caliper as well as the touch up paint and the Discount and he said he would pop down st the weekend and look it over so he gave it the Tricycle version of a MOT and discovered the brake pads for the front was fitted the wrong way around and he fitted them the right way around and yay we had brakes both front and rear I then started to use the Tricycle and with use now the front brakes make a shrieking sound when applied again I have notified Buytricycle of these occurrences and again im promised that some brake pads and touch up paint will be finnally sent to me as well as promising to send a throttle for my Tricycle as I had mentioned that getting it going on any kind of incline was nigh impossible and that even my younger and fitter fiancee had issues with just trying to pedal alone on the same inclines, again nothing has appeared yet and again I have questioned if UPS is bringing the aforementioned items or is it another parcel delivery company I won't hold my breath as I have been promised twice already to wait Fruitlessly so what do you get for your £899 value for money, do I feel valued as a customer a thousand times no!!! there could also be a future issue with its gearing as both Halfords and the specialist have tried to remedy the gears clacking the specialist say it could be just a virgin gearing bedding itself in and only if it continues after I travelled over 100 miles then there is an issue with it but it could sort itself out I hope so for the sake of my sanity.

Still No money has been discounted of the £899.99 I paid, I found out today the throttle assembly that was sent is either faulty or incompatible with my model of Tricycle @@ I have given up waiting for the replacement brake pads and had Hydraulic front brakes fitted instead also found out the free air pump supplied is also faulty so I have had to purchase a new one today

I had to refuse the parcel of the tricycle as it was damaged and they made me just a partial refund of - 120€ arguing a false reason! They are dishonests guys! So, if u want to take the risk of losing money, go ahead, buy from them !

The people who work in here are very knowledgeable and talented in this subject and can assist you with whatever special needs you might have. I didn't need to figure out the best tricycle for me, they did it everything for me and suggested me a much affordable product than I initially had planned.. if this doesn't tell you how good they are then nothing will.

It was a high ticket item so yes I was worried how this entire thing plays out but I am positively surprised. The tricycle came within a few days and is super nice. Can definitely recommend this company. They know what they are doing and they do it well!

The delivery was quicker than expected and the tricycle was neatly packaged. They took good care in shipping this to me and I am satisfied. For this price, you can't go wrong. Thank you!

Got my order yesterday (Monday morning) and the tricycle looks awesome! It's very modern and cool, already hopped on the saddle and been around the town twice! Thanks again, I will not hesitate to come back in the future.

Customer oriented service where you can request tons of modifications and addons that usually aren't being offered by other companies. This is a 10 star service but unfortunately Trustpilot only allows me to give 5.

Without a doubt my best purchase in 2023! I dont think anyone can top them as this is far beyond what I was expecting to get. Amazing service and shipping. I couldn't be more happier!
