Placed an order for shipment to the US from the US website. I reside in France. I have transacted with US websites dozens of times with no problems whatsoever. Apparently, they refuse any orders from those paying from a location outside the US, but they failed to send me any notification or email canceling the order. I did see a credit card charge notice however, so I assumed everything was in motion. Called Customer Service on a Thursday (12.14) during business hours and the voicemail said they were unexpectedly closed right before the holidays? The whole office? Next day got a customer service rep on the line who was completely unapologetic and told me that I should've read the small print about restricted orders. No interest whatsoever in helping me get the product.

The most disrespectful customer service I have ever met!!! I exactly followed their instructions on how to approve the transaction but they cancelled my order without any notice, I found out one week later after I placed the order, contacted their customer service and they said will escalate my case to their manager, I told them I need to get this resolved ASAP since I have an incoming ski trip. But I haven't heard from them for about another 2 weeks. Recontacted them twice, the last time I was asking if I could match the same discount since it's totally not my fault, and because I was't being notified about my order cancellation at all, I missed my chance to purchase on other retails during BF. The agent rejected me with very laid back attitude. After I spent another 10 mins talked back and force I asked if their customer service is good until there is a customer service, and their agent said yes we do act like this etc. I was so disappointed and angry by their such negative attitude and said your attitude made I would never purchase anything from Burton, and this agent just hung up. Excuse me??!! Do they even have respect to their customer?!! I would tell everyone don't waste your time with their customer service, they can do nothing except make your dislike Burton.
Reasonable delivery and refund time and well package
I bought some snowboard shoes, jackets and backpack during black friday. They delivered to me in one week time which I think it is still reasonable. And I have returned some of it due to sizing or fitting. Then the refund is fast, around 1 week time.
So overall I am quite happy with my first Burton online purchase.
I recently bought a board and bindings…
I recently bought a board and bindings from Burton. Specifically I bought the Custom X with Mission Bindings. It is my first board that I bought after years of rentals and I absolutely love the set. Very unfortunately a small part of the bindings broke due to intense use.
Upon contacting customer service, I received a direct and very helpful response. Burton sent me a free replacement which arived within four days of writing my mail. Now that is what I call good service.
Normally I do not write reviews, but I was so positively surprised that I felt compelled to let others know, so hereby my review: great product, great service!

Late delivery and poor customer service
Late delivery and poor customer service.
I've placed two orders with Burton. The first was delayed over a week with 2 failed delivery, due to an 'Incorrect' address. But essentially they made me wait twice, saying something was wrong with the address. The address was correct and I've never had this problem with other delivery companies.
The second is an order I placed on 25th November and end of the day of delivery I got a notification saying it had been delayed until 7th Dec. And now I getting delayed status again.
I know it's the delivery company's fault, but when contacting customer service they couldn't resolve the address issue and nothing can be done for delays. It's been over 2 weeks.
I will just buy from Amazon and return the item.

Burton est injoignable. Le numéro de téléphone du service client est erroné depuis la France. J'attends un remboursement d'une paire de boots de 440€ depuis 11 mois. Aucune réponse par email non plus après de multiples relances. On part sur une procédure avec avocat spécialisé dans le droit à la consommation. Avant de lancer de grandes campagnes à propos de l'impact positif du consommateur sur notre planète il faudrait commencer par être éthiquement correct et honnête.

Product out of stock for EU, but in stock for US. But they can’t deliver it, also refused ship to mail-forwarder company.
Bad policy with processing. They are not ship to forwarder but refer you to payment problems. And with every new attempt through credit card, PayPal, Amazon, they are charge you.
Want to order 100$ product, paid 6 times by different payment methods and was charged almost for 700$, but no order was processed. Every time they are told about payment error. At the end they explain about forbidden mail-forwarding addresses.

Waste of time and money and I now do not have snowboarding gloves for my trip which gas caused a huge inconvenience as I ordered them over 1.5 weeks ago.
Claimed they delivered my parcel however I was home and nobody had attempted to deliver. Upon opening a claim they contacted me to request me to stop the claim as it would cause a delay in my delivery which they claimed had already been delivered so that's clearly a lie.
Then receive a notification that it is being returned to sender.
Not received a refund nor any truth in the matter.
Don't waste your time or money not worth the headache.

J'ai commandé un sac de voyage à roulettes pour snowboards 166cm le 30/08, je l'ai reçu le 4 septembre, jusquelà, parfait, rien à dire. Je précise que j'ai demandé un conseil via le formulaire de contact pour le choix du sac et j'ai eu une réponse très rapide. Mais finalement le sac était trop grand... J'ai donc commandé la taille en dessous (156cm) et je l'ai lui aussi reçu en quelques jours, cette fois c'est la bonne taille, je garde le plus petit. Et c'est au moment d'amorcer un retour pour le grand sac que ça se corse : ma commande est introuvable dans leur base donc impossible d'initier le retour sur leur site... J'ai écrit via le formulaire de contact le 12/09 matin, aucune réponse... Relance le 14/09, idem... Leur numéro de téléphone n'est pas attribué. Bref, je me retrouve avec un sac en trop à 315€ tout de même. Je vais amorcer la procédure de litige paypal (heureusement que j'ai payé via ce moyen !!) et les dénoncer à 60 millions de consommateurs, l'UFC Que Choisir et la DGCCRF. J'aurais dû lire les commentaires ici avant de commander... Un conseil : fuyez ce site !
MAJ le 26/09 : l'adresse mail et numéro de commande ont fini par être miraculeusement reconnus sur le site de Burton pour initier un retour ! Nous avons renvoyé le sac et avons obtenu son remboursement rapide, ouf !

I have ridden on a Burton board since 2015 and never had a problem with them until this season.
I bought top model custom X board after 1 day of riding it cracked. It so sad such a good brand with great options started doing poor quality boards. I contacted the customer service they refused to replace it or refund. I understand there is a high inflation and companies have a hard times but this is not acceptable. Warn your fellow snowboarders to avoid the Burton products if they don’t improve the quality and customer service.
Terrible costumer service
Bought their step ons, and was happy with them at first.
Until fhey broke during a snowtrip. since its within the guarantee, I filled in their guarantee form. With the basic response that they strive to react with 48 hours and 2 weeks later still noting.
That all after spending for what os supposed to be aa top of the line brand.

Sehr schlechte Qualität der GORE-TEX Skihandschuhe
Nach nur 12 Tagen Tragedauer (2 Skiurlaube) sind die GORE-TEX Skihandschuhe total verschlissen und reißen an mehreren Stellen auf. Die versprochene Limited Lifetime-Garantie für Handschuhe wird nicht gewährt, da nach 2 Jahren kein Kaufbeleg vorgelegt werden kann. Die Handschuhe anderer Hersteller halten deutlich länger. Seitens Burton DE gibt es kein Entgegenkommen. Schade - in Zukunft kaufe ich keine Produkte mehr von Burton.
Infuriating customer service
Horrible customer service! I have to say that I am really disappointed with the service I received, especially for a big brand like Burton. I ordered a pair of snowboard pants during a sales event, but the size was too big so I wanted to exchange them for a smaller size. I thought this request is quite reasonable. However, the customer service told me they do not do exchanges online and the only option is to visit a store, but the issue is due to the cyber incident, and the store is not able to do exchanges. So I got in touch with customer service again and asked them to find me a solution because it is not my fault. But the customer agent was super unfriendly and unhelpful, basically stonewalled me and sent me in circles, telling me the only solution is to wait and he also 'hang up' me! I like Burton as a brand and it's an icon of snowboarding. But what happened is really not snowboarding spirit and now I will really think twice before I buy anything because first the website is down for 2 weeks, and now something simple like an exchange is extremely difficult if not impossible.
Customer service sucks
Used My 20% off coupon to order some snowboard pants, needed to exchange them for a smaller size before going to Canada for a trip, they were not able to do it as their website was down for almost a month, so Alec from customer service advised returning the pants and when the website is up and running, email them and they will honor my 20% coupon that has been used... I have emailed their customer support on the same email thread at least 6 times, for over two weeks, and not a single person responding now. So no 20% off, plus, they charged me $15 for returning my pants because they were too big on me and they couldn't exchange them due to their website being down.

Ich warte seit Wochen auf die Rückerstattung einer widerrufenen Express Bestellung. Man wird vertröstet und hingehalten. Muss zig E-Mails schreiben. Der Kundenservice behauptet es handele sich um eine Retoure. Von Burton.com wurde ich jedoch einen Tag vorher informiert, dass Lieferprobleme bestehen und sich die Versendung verzögert. Ich kann nur stark davon abraten, bei Burton direkt zu bestellen. Unseriös.
