I am extremely disappointed with the level of service I’ve received from Burton regarding my warranty claim (Case# 01421484). Despite numerous attempts to resolve the issue, I feel that my concerns have been dismissed rather than addressed.
The item I purchased was only worn twice before it was damaged due to what appears to be poor design (Toddlers' Burton 2L One Piece Snowsuit). The fabric discolors and stains easily, and the velcro damages the material significantly.
Burton agreed to replace the item under warranty, which I appreciate. However, due to zero inventory, I was unable to get the same item, even in a different color. As a result, I had to purchase another snowsuit (from another brand) for my child in the meantime.
After several weeks and seeing that Burton’s inventory was not replenished, I requested a refund, which was denied. Instead, I was offered a credit valid across the website.
I then decided to use the credit to replace the snowsuit with three accessories of equivalent value. Unfortunately, Burton Canada’s customer service informed me that it is not possible to use a warranty credit for multiple items.
In the end, I am left with only two options:
1. Spend additional money to purchase another snowsuit.
2. Exchange the item for an available model, but in a color that does not suit my child.
This experience has been extremely frustrating, both due to the quality of the product and the warranty and customer service process.
This was my first and will be my last purchase from Burton Canada. I am deeply disappointed with the product, the warranty policy, and the service I received.

Burton is scammers
Tired to buy boots and it’s showed error for 1st time , so I tried again said same error. Called customer support and they said that it’s cause I order t Florida but my IP showed I’m in Atlanta. Which is my statink located it for Florida location. So, I turned off my WiFi and left with mobile internet which shows im in Florida and still error, -2000$ on hold for no reason cause Burton fraud system they dummest I’ve ever seen. My card billing match my delivery address, should be a hint it’s not a fraud. IM DONE WITH BURTON !!!!now I have to wear tight boots and they ruined my vacation …
Burton claims to offer a lifetime guarantee but it's not true
Burton claims to offer a lifetime guarantee, but my experience shows otherwise. When my mittens broke due to a factory defect, they stalled me for over two months with excuses about their system being unable to create a replacement order. Despite the clear defect, their solution was a mere 40% discount code — not a replacement or proper resolution.
This is not what I expected from a brand that markets itself as premium. Burton’s so-called "lifetime guarantee" feels more like false advertising. I’m extremely disappointed and won’t be recommending them to anyone

After placing an order there is no way to edit it, tried to call but they all said to send an email, tried to talk with a manager but I couldn’t get transfer, the inconveniences that they will put you through is underrated. I was trying to get the googles M5s instead I got the M5, after 2 hours of placing the order I called but there is no way to modify it, they suggested to wait for the package, return it and then order a new one.
The crazy thing is how is not possible for them to reach out another department to easily change the order.

Lifetime Warranty Honored on Backpack!
I purchased my backpack in 2016 from a company that now is out of business. It only had minor issues that slowly became enough of an annoyance I sent it in for repair. The one zipper got stuck (thankfully at the bottom of the track) and so I only had one to open it for 1-2 years. I didn't have any other issues with the bag besides some minor fraying threads and such - but no holes as other reviewers have mentioned. I assume they only fix things due to manufacture defect, and not user error or mishandling which would make sense to me! Someone can't just buy a new iPhone and smash it on the ground for a new one claiming it didn't hold up...
I just got my bag back and they replaced the zipper and I still have my original bag in service! Overall an awesome company which I'd buy more from! They even encouraged me to reuse an old mailer to reduce the amount of waste, on top of allowing me to fix my bag instead of that becoming waste too! Not many US companies honoring their products still so we should all do what we can to support them!

Lifetime warranty is a lie
They say they have a lifetime warranty, but after the material of a backpack from a few years ago ripped while the rest of the bag is in good condition, they say they can't do anything other than giving me a discount. Complete lies.
Worst products - shoes can handle one season maximum
Worst customer service and very bad products.
If you want snowboard shoes which last max one season then go for burton.

Recieved the most awful customer service from their service rep Sarah. I could go into details but the entire situation is entirely too upsetting and I don't need to relive the experience.
Overrated and Overpriced!
Very lackluster there quality control is really bad. The prices are off the charts they charge $10 for delivery after you spend over $200... I mean are these guys on Mount Olympus who do they think they are everything on their line is overpriced... Yeah I buy stuff from them that's on super sale that's it!
For quality price and customer service there are many other snowboard companies way ahead of the pack!
Bad Experience turned Good
I have been chasing for a refund but they were not accepting that I have sent the parcel. After going back and forth finally it got sorted. Special thanks to Lauren who made it happen.

La qualité Burton n'est plus ce qu'elle était avant.
J'ai acheté beaucoup de produits différents chez Burton. Ces 2 dernières années, je me suis équipé quasi de la tête aux pieds chez Burton. J'ai été particulièrement déçu.
T-shirts --> le tissu est très fin, au point où le t-shirt n'a aucune tenue tellement le tissu est souple. Un vieux t shirt Gap d'il y a 10 ans tient mieux. Les motifs thermocollés se décollent très rapidement.
J'ai un t-shirt haut de gamme (75 euros le t shirt à manches courtes !), le t shirt a un tissu un peu plus épais, mais pareil que les autres t shirts, le t shirt n'a aucune tenue, le tissu se déforme.
Pantalon snowboard --> très fragile, coutures qui ne tiennent pas très bien. J'ai un pantalon Burton qui a 6 ans qui est en meilleur état que mon nouveau pantalon de cette année.
Moufles --> ma paire de sous gants s'est complètement décousue au bout de 5 ou 6 utilisations. J'ai été obligé de les recoudre.
Sweat à capuche --> tissu trop fin, coton de mauvaise qualité, ca bouloche. Les elastiques se sont déformés en 3 ou 4 lavages, donc plus d'élastique à la taille et aux poignets.

There is something seriously wrong with the operational aspects of this company. I can’t say if the product is any good, as I’ve had the worst ever online experience and never got my products.Hinestly, it seems like Burton is trying to turn snowboarders into skiers with their crap service.
Backpack repair, slow responses from customer service

Fair is fair, turns out that Burton needs time to respond to their tickets. I've updated the rating from 1 to 4 stars because the issue got resolved in a pleasant way. And it is also worth mentioning that all persons that have responded to my e-mails were really friendly.
Faith in Burton has been restored, I guess.

Trying to get in contact about a backpack repair. The backpack is about one year and a few months old and the stitching is letting loose at one of the straps (which is disappointing in the first place).
Barely getting any responses from customer service. First they said they did not receive my warranty claim after I filed one. Therefor I filed another claim and asked separately if they received it. It was confirmed that my claim had been processed correctly and that I would be contacted shortly. Surprisingly I was contacted by a Burton representative shortly after (same day). They asked if I could send pictures and a receipt, which I immediately did.
It has now been 23 days since I sent the pictures and haven't heard anything back. Not even a response to my request for a status update which I sent 3 days ago.
Highly doubt if I will ever buy a Burton product again.
Disposable quality
Disposable quality. I bought a Burton Con Artist over $1600 brand new and the board started delaminated from a small gap to a huge one. After a month of back and forth with Burton. I spent $60 to send the board in and only after a day they shipped it right back as is, saying it's not repairable. No replacement, no repair.
Delamination not repairable by THE MANUFACTURER for a $1600 product shows how mediocre the board is as well as their warranty program.

Fantastic customer service from everyone in the store. I took a Burton test ride and ended up buying the kit. A special big thank you to Sofia for her commitment and level of service.
Would rate zero if an option!
Poor customer service all round, purchased an AK jacket in large using a code they had sent, on receipt it was too big so I asked them for an exhange for a medium instead (which was in stock).
No exchange process in place at all, the only option was to return and purchase again. Pretty poor service in this day and age but I was prepared to do this. However, the code I was given initially I cannot now use as it has expired so I would have to purchase again for £140 more!
You would think they would honour this but Customer Service couldn't care less. Still waiting on a call back from a Manager, I won't hold me breath!
Looking at all the responses to their reviews on here (none), goes to show how much they care about their customer's feedback.
Spent thousands over the years with Burton but will go out of my way to spend my money elsewhere going forward!
