Alex at Burra Design recently helped us with a home office fitout. His professionalism and attention to detail are excellent. It is a relatively small space and the transformation to a more usable space, with a large desktop area as well a huge amounts of storage is awesome. Alex also coordinated with Ren Studio to use their doors for a higher quality finish. Well done and thanks again Alex.

Alex assisted us with a living room project. His customer service was friendly and efficient. He assisted in designing a lovely 6m long tv unit/window seat/ pantry design with his very talented ikea skills which enabled us to have the design we wanted at a very cost effective price point. Would highly recommend and look forward to being able to use his services again.

Alex’s expertise was exactly what we needed! We gave him a brief on what we wanted, he took the time prior to and come up with a workable plan so that during our meeting, he was showing us a ready to go design. We have an odd shaped kitchen and he worked out creative solutions to make the most of the space. He also made a few style adjustments for us post the meeting in a flash! I repurposed some Ikea kitchen cabinetry from a house that was being knocked down. I gathered all the pieces and brought them to my unit, thinking I had a vague idea of what I wanted and where to put everything. But let's be honest, I was overwhelmed. I knew I was missing some crucial parts, and that's when Alex swooped in like a design superhero.
He measured what I had, we chatted about the design, and boom! Within an hour, he conjured up a 3D model of the kitchen, complete with a list of item codes from Ikea that I needed to complete the masterpiece. It was like a scene out of a blockbuster movie – picture epic music and slow-motion high-fives. Alex's professionalism and skill were off the charts.
I cannot recommend Alex enough. If you're in need of a design magician to turn your jumbled Ikea dreams into a reality, he's your guy. Trust me, this experience was more impressive than watching a squirrel solve a Rubik's cube. Yeah, it's that good!

The initial design was prepared overnight following the consultation, and updates made within a matter of hours. We recently worked with Burra Design to help us design an IKEA kitchen, laundry, mudroom and wardrobes as part of a major renovation at our property. Alex is very knowledgeable about the IKEA product range, due to his experience from an installation point of view and having previously worked at IKEA. It meant he was able to seemlessly transition us through the process from initial design brief to execution with his connections in the industry, and we are so pleased with the end results. We didn’t have the greatest experience at our local IKEA store and weren’t filled with confidence when we first visited, so decided to use Burra Design’s services instead and would 100% recommend them to anybody.
