Emails ignored, promises failed

I wrote two emails requesting additional information. But no replies! Contacted them through their chat facility, and was promised a follow up call. Again, they completely failed. Unfortunately the customer service is completely lacking. I really don't understand why they don't reply to emails or customer queries, or how they believe that this would encourage purchases.

Their response is completely false. I checked all my email folders prior to writing the review. There were no responses to either of my emails. Incidently I have all filters turned off on my emails to ensure I receive them all. My email also asked how you expect to attract new customers? Especially when your quoted delivery times are days later than your competitors. To be honest, it was bad enough you didn't respond, but then to be dishonest about it, really?

Just to be clear, UKbullion, which is part of your same group, are inflating prices to give a discount? Then why are they generally priced around the same as yourselves? Please, be clear about your answer, let's be completely transparent.

We always aim to reply promptly and regret that this may not have been clear on your side.

To provide context for others reading: your enquiry was about whether we offer discounts for new customers. Our business model is built on transparency and fairness, so we do not provide “new customer only” discounts. Instead, we keep our prices consistently as low as possible for everyone, both new and returning customers. We believe inflating prices and then offering discounts or voucher codes is not the fairest way to treat customers.

That said, we do occasionally run promotional discount codes at different times of the year. These offers are available to all customers equally, not just new ones, as we value loyalty and want returning customers to benefit just as much as first-time buyers.

For example, the 10g gold bar you purchased was approximately £20 cheaper than comparable listings online at the time, and we were pleased to deliver it to you the very next day free of charge. This is the approach we take across our entire product range: ensuring all customers, whether making their first order or their tenth, receive genuinely competitive pricing without needing to search for discount codes.

We are disappointed that this has led to a negative review, but we hope others will appreciate our approach: focusing on long-term trust, consistent fairness, and everyday low pricing, supported by occasional promotions that reward all customers equally.

We are not associated with the company you mentioned, so the research you’ve referenced is incorrect.

You stated that you did not receive a response (though you did), that our delivery times are longer than competitors, and that we should offer discounts to attract new customers. Given those concerns, we are unsure why you chose to purchase from us.

For clarity, what you did receive was:

1. The lowest price online at the time of your order
2. Next-day delivery
3. Clear and honest communication

We do appreciate your order, but it’s clear we have not met your expectations (the main one being you wanted a discount).
It may be best if you consider a different bullion dealer going forward.

First Class seller

First purchase from this company. I was not sure what to expect but was pleasantly surprised.Great bar at reasonable price. Above and beyond communication even after normal working hours. Nice free chocolate with delivery which was fast. Much quicker than The Royal Mint who have left me waiting a long time for there over priced items.

I recently ordered from BullionGiant.com and I couldn’t be happier with the entire experience. The website is easy to use, their selection is fantastic, and the prices are very competitive compared to others I’ve seen.

AVOID THIS PLACE, RUDE & NOT PROFESSIONAL

What a terrible customer service, very low class! From experience, my advice is not to buy from this place and AVOID IT AT ALL COSTS. I was really shocked at the way the WhatsApp customer service agent responded to me when I asked for a delivery update on my order as I didn’t get any information on when it will be dispatched and how can I track it. The rude agent decided to cancel and refund my order against my will and told me very directly ‘don’t buy from us again and all your future orders will be blocked’ (you can find 4 screenshots of the full interaction attached on my Google review). What kind of customer service is this??! This interaction has been very upsetting and such a time waste for me. All customers need to know that this is likely how they will be treated if they decided to buy from this place. If you can’t respond to customers with minimum decency and respect, don't do business. Even after making a complaint, their team took my details and never got back to me.

*Update after business reply: The full interaction on whatsapp is attached here (on my Google Review) and none was left out - you can follow the chat minute by minute, stop LYING, people can tell nothing has been deleted and the thread follows through, with time stamps!!! I didn't say anything that I would be ashamed of. I didn't say anything abusive throughout that chat but your agent was rude and took things personally, which is not professional at all. The audacity of you trying to convince people that your agent was polite is laughable but what would I expect from a business that hire such people, supports them and not hold them accountable just so it can look good?! Also, no where in the confirmation email was it included when orders are usually dispatched and trackable. As a customer, I have the right to make an enquiry about my order and you're obliged to answer in a professional manner. And like I care at all about buying from you, there are many places out there I can buy from, nothing special or big deal about you! I even contacted you to close down my account because i don't want you to keep any of my details on your system.

Having reviewed all records, including the part of the conversation you screenshotted (most of it left out), we can see that our team remained clear, polite, and professional throughout.

You acknowledged that you were unhappy as you hadn’t been given a tracking number immediately, however it’s important to note that tracking information is not available right after placing an order, the order has to be processed and checked thoroughly. One it is dispatched that is when the tracking details are given.

Your order was placed at 3:52pm and, as explained, it was scheduled for dispatch the following working day.
Tracking details are only generated once the order has been dispatched.
This is standard practice, tracking is not available right away, through us or any retailer.

Unfortunately, the manner in which our team was addressed during text, via live chat and calls became unacceptable.

While we take pride in providing excellent customer service, we must also ensure our colleagues are treated with respect, especially when they are trying to help.
For this reason, your order was cancelled, and a full refund was issued.

We do not and will not tolerate abusive and rude behaviour towards our colleagues.

As previously confirmed, due to the nature of this interaction, we will not be able to accept further orders from you. Your details have been removed from our system.
