I wanted something different for 2 internal doors & found these. They are beautifully made & finished & I have received many compliments about them.

Stock charges in return is really scam. Was not informed at time of purchase.

Also if you recive defective item and try to replace or cancle order they take ages to solve issue.

No call back policy told by employee on email thats strange and also no phone call reply if you call them dont know why they have landline numbers.

Price are not cheap its almost same or less if you compare other traders, if fact I got cheaper price for doors with other store in 5 mile radius.

Very unprofessional its was a Nightmare.

Brilliant double door ordered at a brilliant price. Everyone who has seen the doors has been amazed at the quality from builders to guests. Customer service when needed was great too. Would definitely order again in future.

Had to chase up after waiting 6 weeks plus and hadn't heard from them

Good communication about delivery. Arrived on time. Great outside gate - just what we wanted.

Out of three doors. Two were wrong. Who made the mistake is irrelevant it is how a company reacts. This company tries to charge you more from returns than you paid for delivery and charges a restock fee. This is not legal under the distance selling and retail laws. Will not use again.

Many bad reviews but my experience was great.
Wanted 4 oak doors to match existing ones from XL joinery . Phoned to make sure was in stock 1st , good job I did as the bi fold door was out of stock even though showing in stock online , so changed to normal door .
Ordered Thursday lunchtime and received email for delivery Friday morning . Was not going to be in Friday so arranged for Monday .
Doors turned up as stated .
Can’t fault the service . Only thing I would say is to phone to make sure the doors you want are in stock . As build world do not stock any doors they just source them .
Delivery is arranged by the supplier and not by build world

Website show my item in stock. Then I call to check my delivery. My item out of stock and will be delivered month later. But money been charged straight away.

I'd give them 0 if I could. I ordered a door on the 18th March and still haven't received it, despite 4 visits from their delivery drivers on 4 separate dates. They have twice delivered the wrong door. Genuinely astonishing how bad their service is.

Their customer service is appalling, it's just a barrage of confusing, conflicting emails. They'll say one thing as the delivery company say another. Excessive, inaccurate communication from both sides.

Only worth it if you've got loads of time and energy to waste and are happy to repeatedly wait around so they might deliver the product you ordered. If you except to purchase a product, pay a hefty delivery fee and get what you paid for, don't use them.
They've ignored my requests for a refund on multiple occasions now.
I'll be contacting Trading Standards/Citizens Advice/my bank to force a refund tomorrow. Truly appalling. The worst sales experience I've ever had.

They provided me with an excellent product at a good price. Delivery was delayed a bit by the manufacturer, but they chased them up for me so pleased all round with the service i got.

It seems the lies continue, this door that was in stock, but delivery was delayed due to them finding it was damaged!!! The delivery finally arrived, it took 3 weeks, rather than the 2-3 days it was supposed to.
Was it delivered by BuildWorld I hear you ask, or a delivery company on their behalf?
No, of course not, it was never in stock, it was delivered directly from the factory by the manufacturer. The conclusion is that rather than using Buildworld you are far better of avoiding them and their constant lies...

Extremely disappointed with this company. Ordered an oak door to complete a garage conversion. Order was confirmed money was taken from my account. Expecting delivery tomorrow (8/4/26) everything seemed to be going to plan. Then bang received a email to say they couldn’t fulfil the order as the door is out of stock. Even though it was in stock when it was ordered and is still showing in stock online today. This has left me scrambling around trying to source a replacement to allow the door to be fitted this week. Definitely won’t be buying from this company again.
