We are very pleased with the Budget Dog Experience. It is like taking a Master's certificate in personal finance. The program offers a lot of education and resources towards helping everyday people like me and my wife to better understand our finances and take better control of that part of our life. I wish that I had taken this program earlier in my life. Even so, I am glad to be learning it now.

Joining Budget Dog has been a game changer for my family. I am more aware of my finances. We also have a Detailed plan of action to become successful investors. I really feel like this is an answered prayer and it’s worth it. The community in budgetdog is uplifting and encouraging and Brennan is just amazing the coaches are always reachable and accessible.

Budgetdog has changed our lives for the better. Brennan and his team are so supportive and their coaching style is personable and very easy to comprehend. They have opened our eyes to what are finances are and what we can actually accomplish. Your dreams matter and they will do what it takes to help you achieve every one of them. No dream is too big. They also use an approach that helps you prioritize your day to day routine and family responsibilities first. They get that life happens and they adjust along the way. The budgeting is realistic as well. It’s not just cut everything out that you love for a while, rather let’s make it fit so you can enjoy the journey! I’m forever grateful we found them and cannot wait to see where it takes us!

Everything is easy to understand and if you follow the steps there is no way to fail. They are attentive and helpful every step of the way.

I am beyond happy for taking this course with Brennan and his team. So much thought has been put into this academy and it gets better and better! Although I did not finish all the modules (because life happens), I got so much out of it and it was worth it! Brennan not only built an academy, he built a community like no other. So far it’s been great! The budget alone was eye opening and we’ve already saved money in our first few weeks and haven’t really cut back much at all. The investing is the part we are most excited about and we can already see how successful this is going to be for us.

BDA is not your normal financial class. It really deep dives into every nook and cranny of where you’re spending your money. It gives you the knowledge about not only finances but about yourself and why you have your relationship with money that you have. The way they teach should be taught to everyone as they are growing up and learning how to deal with their money. My only regret with BDA is not doing it sooner! Take the chance on yourself and sign up!

Budgetdog Academy has helped us to see where our money is actually going, create a realistic budget, eliminate unnecessary expenses, and then make educated decisions on how to use the cash flow we freed up to fund our goals and dreams. The coaches keep you accountable with weekly lessons and checkpoints and offer live sessions for learning and questions. The online community is supportive and encouraging. We are excited to see how our actions now compound over time!

The course & information provided is extremely valuable and straight to the point. There's no confusion and I know I will be carrying this information to not only help myself in the future, but also other people around me.

Where was Brennan when we were in our twenties? :) Wish we would have learned all of this much sooner!

I was interested in the program after randomly seeing posts in my Instagram feed. I follow various finance influencers, and really like to learn. I signed up for a call to learn more about the offerings. Specific details about the program were not shared with me, just basic general info that didn't convince me it was worth investing $4,000. I felt pressured to sign up immediately during the call and it made me extremely uncomfortable. I actually had to turn off my video because I started crying due to the high pressure sales tactics Brennan was using. It was honestly quite traumatic, and I wonder if the fact I am a young woman played a role in this.

I was also blocked on Instagram after leaving a comment on a video that was not inappropriate or anything. He censors anyone that challenges him. NOT OK! He thinks he can control the narrative.

There are many other creators offering free or lower cost content. I prefer Her First 100k.

EDIT requested June 28th after my review was flagged for defamation. Sharing an honest experience, although a few years later, is not the same as defamation. I don't recall even having the option to share on TrustPilot when it happened, and honestly I am just so irritated when I have no way to share an actual lived experience about a business because they seem to have someone working around the clock deleting any type of comment they consider defamatory.

Again, BudgetDog is trying to censor and control the narrative. That cannot work long-term. BudgetDog denying my experience and saying they have no records is false. If they are doing things in an organized way, they will be able to find I had a meeting with them in 2023, I attended the meeting, and I did not feel comfortable signing up for a very VAGUE program and spending thousands of dollars without knowing exactly what I was getting.

I didn't add a TrustPilot review when I should have (maybe it wasn't even an option back then?), but I emailed BudgetDog after the incident, being professional. Not surprisingly, that email was ignored. Obviously I do not matter at all to to them as a prospective customer even though I can easily pay for the program if I determine it makes sense for my situation. They assumed I was not worth their time since I'm not willing to drop 4k on a vague program without specific details! That is how you lose potential future customers.

As a female, there are many times in life I'm not taken seriously by men who assume things about me, but don't actually know me. It's especially frustrating when I'm trying to be open minded about my finances and learn about other perspectives, and then get treated the way I was treated.

If you keep track of emails properly, you should have a record of this email in addition to the video call. I will add some details from my email since I you demanded additional details.

I said I had X amount of money already invested and I was interested in re-evaluating those investments, exploring different strategies, and just learning more in general. I could have easily been a customer if the communication had been different. I did not feel respected as a person.

"It felt like you didn't take me seriously. I was genuinely interested in your program, and I felt pressured to immediately "go for it" before having detailed information. I'm always very skeptical when it comes to being sold something, and I take things slowly."

I will change to 2 stars even though I believe it should be 1, since they responded to my review LOL. Since I had a real rough experience with simply trying to learn about a program, it should be one star, but I'll do what I have to do to not not be censored.

Again, I don't pay thousands of dollars for something when information is withheld. I'm going to screenshot this new submission for my records, in case it is deleted.

Please keep in mind, many people do not like high pressure sales, and that can drive away customers. Hopefully you can learn from this experience and accept the fact you made someone feel really bad after an exploratory call.

Budget dog has been great for us & our family! We finally feel like we have a plan set for our son’s future and our early retirement. This was something we always wanted to achieve, but had no guidance prior to budget dog. The team is always checking in and making sure your questions are answered which is a great feeling. Knowing you have an expert in your corner at all times is exactly what you’ll get. Highly recommend!

Joining budgetdog academy was one of the best decisions my wife and I have ever made. The coaches have been very helpful along the way and the content is amazing. 60 days in and the amount of money we are saving on unnecessary expenses in month 2 compared to month 1 has been extremely eye opening. Life changing stuff for us and our son’s future. Can’t wait to see what else the academy has to offer.

Just signed up with BudgetDog and learned so many things so far..
After the 3 month analysis and now preparing our budget, we’re definitely over spenders! BUT that’s not it.. we found out that we weren’t investing some of the money we were contributing to a UTMA account. At first it was disappointing, but what a blessing in disguise! Lost a couple of years of investments, but thank goodness we caught it. I say this is a small win. Looking at our numbers have been tough, but I know we’re slowly making progress. Thank you, BDA FAM, for the continuous support and encouragement!

The team at Budgetdog is AMAZING. They are all in it for the right reasons and its obvious. Brennan (owner/founder) has it all figured out and is sharing it with anyone willing to put in the work. We have struggled with our finances for over a decade and though we still have work to do, we also have hope that our goals are not outside of our reach and we have the financial education we need when became independent adults 20+ years ago.

Budgetdog delivers on exactly what they promise. We have been part of the program for 2.5 months and they have absolutely turned our life around. Within four weeks we had a workable budget that doesn't take more than about 30 minutes a week to fine tune. We also now understand what we need to do to accomplish a fantastic retirement at an age that leaves us time in life to actually enjoy it as well as provide a sound start for all of our kids. Before my wife and I joined the BDA team, we had never budgeted or actually sat down and figured out how we were going to reach our financial goals. We both knew what we wanted, but we never knew how much the BDA would help us achieve our goals, and how much insight we would gain on finances, investing and just obtain an overall healthier financial picture for us and our family.
