We joined the Budgetdog Academy just a few months ago. What a great investment it’s been! The coaches are always helpful, respond quickly, and help to keep you accountable on this journey. All the content thus far has been easily digestible despite our limited background of investing.

Really appreciate the detailed guidance with clear actions to take each week. The videos are clear and concise so you get the most of the information in an appropriate amount of time

Before BudgetDog, I knew I needed to get serious about my finances, but I didn’t know where to start. Their step-by-step system, practical templates, and straightforward explanations made everything click. Most importantly, they hold you accountable — which made all the difference. I’ve paid down debt, started investing strategically, and finally feel in control of my financial future.

Budgetdog has helped us gain so much clarity into our financial health. It gave us the structure to understand our current financial status and clear steps on how to achieve our goals. Since joining we have cut our monthly expenses by around $7k, paid off $15k in debt and started investing with purpose and clear goals ahead. We were hesitant to join at first but after being apart of this community we are so happy we did. The community is so encouraging and motivating, we are full steam ahead to financial freedom! The content is so thorough, well-organized, and put into language that's both accessible and teaches you the "lingo" of the finance world. I'm very grateful for the journey I've been on with Budgetdog Academy.

The coaches and staff At Budget Dog have been wonderful to work with. Their insight and empathy have made the experience of what might otherwise be challenging introspection in application, both effective and smooth.

The programming and the direct support from coaches and the community has been excellent.

Week four of this program is pretty intense but, we did it! We decided on the path to crush our debt and pull back on some post tax investments we had in place. The pay down debt or Invest calculator was phenomenal in helping us make our decision. Super excited to wrap this week up with love in our hearts and a new focus on growing our wealth.

The courses are structured well and easy to follow. The pace is kind to people with busy lives. The student posts sharing both struggles and wins are relatable - they keep us going when we’ve lost the drive and motivation to keep going.

Honestly wasn’t sure what we were getting ourselves into but the wealth of knowledge that BudgetDog is, it’s incredible. We’re still a little early in the process but I’m pretty sure it’s changed our lives. Glad we took a leap; hoping before too long we’ll be really glad!

This program is not what it seems from the social media posts. It is very expensive up front, and a very high pressure program that can feel stressful. The red flag for me: All non-5-star reviews are flagged as defamatory and removed, so a true picture of the company is not represented online. Mine was taken down twice so I’m hoping this one sticks. They are very intriguing with the 6-month roadmap to financial control promise. But they are very opaque with disclosing pricing. It took 3 phone calls and an hour Zoom call plus a lot of pushing to get pricing. That’s why they turn lower earners down because they know they would never get that. You have to make three figures for them to even continue the conversation. I will update this if we follow through with trying the program.
UPDATE #1: Due to personal life circumstances, I could not keep up with the pace of the program. Brennan did offer access to the academy without the meetings, check-ins and timeline. I do think the company was started to help people navigate the complexities of finance, but it's quite the commitment, so be ready.

I knew i needed accountability for my personal discipline. Life has been super busy. Finishing my MBA 4/26, my middle graduates high school and doing final college visits. Got 2 weeks behind & was giving myself a panic attach. Stayed focus knowing I need to do this. Sold something that covered all but $100 of a credit card debt. Took a $100 from my pay and paid it off in full.
Started the last week of December. Extra expenses have been discouraging due to the snow and college visits and take-out due to exhaustion but I have paid off 3 of the smaller credit card balances now. Removed the items from my vision board. Eyeing the next 3 credit cards to hopefully pay off by June if not sooner on my debt schedule & vision board (compliment each other).
My focus is debt payoff but have a very small amount flowing to high interest savings for emergency fund & a small amount into a brokerage account. Something is better than nothing. Hoping to sell more stuff to help pay some more cards off faster. A little excited today looking at everything. Kept up with fitness 3 mornings before work going on 5 weeks!!! I have lost inches from the emotional eating stopping and the focus on health & consistency. It all seems to be a total package.

Budgetdog Academy is worth the investment! Not only are you investing in yourself now but you're investing for the long haul. I thought I knew how to go about my retirement, investments, and financial goals...but there's soo much I'm learning as the weeks go by that I don't think I ever would've learned. You learn a system, that will not only help you reach your financial goals, but change your mindset! Not to mention you get an awesome team that is there to help you every step of the way, keeping you accountable! From someone who was very skeptical and unsure about the commitment, It's worth it!

My husband and I joined a finance mentorship 3 months ago called Budgetdog. 💴

It’s a 6 month course, and gets pretty in depth. We’re half way through, have fine tuned our budget, continued to pay off debt from the fire, been learning about investing, retirement plans, dollar cost averaging, the stock market, all that good stuff.

For the first time in, I think forever?? We have a buffer in place, are working to set up automatic payments where we can, and just executed our very first automatic investments to our retirement accounts. Now they’re set up to recur monthly and I don’t even have to think about it.

It’s been a lot of time we’ve invested in the class, live call, learning, and growing, but I feel like like for the first time we’re taking back control of our money, and not letting our money (or emotions) run us.

If you’re feeling stuck, frustrated, clueless, or hopeless of what your future & retirement look like, I’d suggest you schedule a free call and talk to them. It’s not cheap, it’s an investmwnt, which for us felt a bit like a step backwards as we’ve zeroed in on paying off debt. Reflecting this morning, talking to him, I’m really glad we decided to invest in ourselves and future. And that we are learning and are our best advocates, not only are we avoiding unnecessary fees from a financial advisor, but we’re in control and understand what we’re doing.

They hold you accountable, there’s an online community, calls each week, tons of resources and online information. While I still feel like there’s so much to learn, I have at least a small understanding now, and it was really stressing me out that we’re both self employed without a real structure for retirement.

One of the big take aways is just not letting the unknown hold you back; because time is the biggest aspect here. Don’t try to time the market, set things up to happen automatically so you don’t make emotional decisions, and don’t panic sell lol.

I had been listening to Dave Ramsey for month’s, and I do really like him, but I’ve made so much more progress learning and putting a true system in place that also allows us to still live a life & not only be beans and rice, iykyk.

I don’t recommend people, mentorships, or programs easily. I haven’t even said a word until now publicly that we’ve been doing this so I could see some of the results myself.

Today our first automatic investments from our submitted & approved plan executed. That feels pretty dang good!

I’m really grateful for the progress we’ve seen in just 3 months, I know our future is going to be brighter because of it. Don’t let your finances control you, grab the reins, say yes to a change, be disciplined, open, and make a change! We’ve got this! 🎉

There is such a wealth of knowledge here. My wife and I were so overwhelmed with debt and complex financial literacy that even when the money came in we made so many mistakes on how to handle it. The systems Budgetdog have created really work and we are on track to be debt free in a couple years and I already have an investment strategy in place for when we are financially ready. They really help you make decisions and teach you about finances without being pushy and telling you what you have to do. The community is excited for all the wins and not just the really big ones. The accountability really keeps pushing you forward. Note that if you aren't willing to work on yourself and your finances this isn't for you. If your tired of feeling stuck and like you can't make progress, I can vouge that this will help. Its been lifechanging for me and my family!

All the coaches are great and the tools/information given in the program will definitely set you up to succeed. The systems placed on autopilot ,ake everything so easy. You have to be able to put in the work but this program definitely works. I would recommend to anyone trying to reach their financial goals.

I wasn’t going to post this but I was encouraged to do so. In just 1 month of joining Budgetdog academy, my net worth has increased by $21K. Normally I wouldn’t have noticed or celebrated that, but being in the Academy has made me much more aware of my progress and overall picture.
I’ve also been very mindful of my spending and consistently updating my actual cash flow in the budget spreadsheet. I couldn’t be happier that I’ve actually stopped sitting on the sidelines watching everyone else win and finally got in the game to win alongside everyone else in the Budgetdog academy.
