We chose Dave because of his unique approach to handling money. Unlike other programs or finance coaches, Dave helped us see the ‘psychological’ aspect of why and how we dealt with money. After helping us get to what stood between us and our goals, we established a robust financial plan and went to work. In 6 months, we eliminated over half of the $45k in bad debt we had. We are still on track to see this all the way through. I highly recommend Dave for his coaching, expertise, and the tools that he provides.

I had the opportunity to attend Dave Won’s first public workshop and it was time well spent. Dave is authentic, knowledgeable and intentional. As a fellow Veteran, it’s clear he has continued on a path of purpose and helping others. I appreciated that Dave spoke to the practical and psychological sides of money, addressed conscious and subconscious barriers that prevent people from attaining their financial goals, and most importantly called out that success looks different for each person.

Overcoming his own personal financial hurdles set him on path to help others clear theirs. The Budget Captain knows finances can get complicated, so he is intentionally about keeping the approach to money simple by giving every dollar a purpose.

Corporate Workshop- the workshop really opened up thoughts and ideas that I hadn’t had before. The idea that my financial situation is probably a deeper rooted issue than just spending money. It’s encouraging to know that it isn’t a “one and done” workshop.

Dave has helped us with our personal finances. He has helped us with a mindful money mindset. We were able to look at our personal finances and money in a different light through Dave’s coaching on mindful spending. He helped us also pay down our debt without shaming or putting us down if we made a mistake. He does not sham us for spending a little extra every once in a while. As Dave would say “ It’s your money, I can’t tell you not to spend it.” Dave’s methods truly do work!

I really like this because relatable, easy to understand, well organized topics with short videos. Covers a a lot of different topics and case studies which was really helpful. Highly recommend!! This was way more than what I was expecting and helped give my wife and I new tools and conversations to have around everything that involves money.

I’ve been on the Budget Captain program for almost a year now and it’s been life changing to say the least. I initially met Dave at an airport in Dallas in early 2022 and what caught my eye was his authenticity and his genuine care to help others better their relationship with money compared to anybody else I’ve seen. I’ve been having a lot of stress due to the amount of credit card debt that I had and he helped me identify the underlying factor behind my debt issues which led to me lowering my stress around money, being intentional behind every dollar that I spend and ultimately being able to tackle my daily agenda with a clear head.
