Very happy to recommend B Solar after my installation three weeks ago. I did lots of research into this new subject (to me!) and obtained a number of quotes. B Solar were not the cheapest, but the solution offered ticked all my boxes as did Mike's approach to the job.

My install (20 panels split east/west, inverter and three batteries) was booked in after a site visit and was completed by Mike and Matt in two days. The inevitable issues encountered when retrofitting systems to existing buildings were dealt with creatively and without fuss and the resulting installation is very tidy and performing excellently.

Definitely worth going local rather than using a national company for solar, and you won't go far wrong if you select Mike & his team.

I had a 16 panel East-West 6.4 kW Solax system with 6 kW battery storage fitted at the end of May. After 5 months, I am very happy with the system, with daily average 29 kWh in June, 22 kWh July, 22 kWh in August, 18 kWh in September. Overall, these numbers match those in the modelling software used by BSolar, which was great to see.
I did quite a lot of research before settling on BSolar. They were a little more expensive than some on-line options, but were a local company which were recommended by a friend who had a B-Solar installation. I was very impressed by the whole experience. The quote accurately matched the real system output, and the installation team were incredibly professional and helpful. The owner, Mike, even came to help with the scaffolding installation to maintain the promised timescales when one of the scaffolders did not turn up. The installation was left very neat and tidy, and BSolar did all of the required work to get a rapid grant of the MCS etc certificates to allow connection and export to the grid.
As we approach winter, the daily output is now dropping below my daily needs, so I have set the batteries to charge overnight at a cheaper electricity rate. Any excess solar output is then automatically exported to the grid at a slightly higher rate than I pay for the import during the night (Octopus Flux Tariff).
I have no hesitation recommending BSolar.

B Solar installed my system 10months ago and I couldn’t be happier!

When looking for solar panels, B Solar was recommended to me. At the quote stage they were competitively priced and were the only supplier that also came to visit the site. I was provided with realistic expectations for what I could achieve with the roof space I had (not always the case with some others). Went with a 20 panel install with twin battery storage.

Install was quick and on schedule and Mike even had the scaffold up a couple of days early so I could get some repair work done on a couple of tiles before they started. The team were fantastic and explained how the different phases were done to optimise panel efficiency.

When the work was done, Mike explained the system operation and set it up for me. Even recently when I needed help setting up charging of the batteries from the grid (during cheap night time electric) on bad weather days in winter, a quick message to Mike and he called back to talk me through it. I honestly couldn’t be happier and it’s performing really well, even a little better than I expected.

I would highly recommend B Solar to anyone looking to get an efficient solar system suited to their individual needs.

B-Solar installed a ground mount system with battery for us.

Mike and his team were extremely courteous and professional. He listened to what we wanted and worked with us to come up with a solution rather than trying to force a solution upon us.

The workmanship has been exemplary and the aftercare faultless. I would happily recommend to anyone.

I'm really pleased with my solar panel and battery installation. Mike listened to what I wanted and installed the perfect system with bird proofing. (You really must get bird proofing to avoid future problems with nesting.) The installation team were very polite and accommodating. 22 panels were fitted (split east/west) with 15.6kWh of usable battery storage. The hardware only took a few days to install but because my electrical wiring had additional requirements (islanding and backup via a new second consumer unit) it took a bit longer to complete.

I've had the system for 6 months and during the last 5 (May to Sep) my monthly electricity bill shrank from £400 to £50, and £30 of that is the standing charge for being connected to the grid. In other words, solar has provided 95% of our electricity for 5 months this year. On most days it generated 2 to 3 times what we consumed so it was fed back into the grid to generate a little bit of income. During the winter we'll set the batteries to charge at night on cheaper electricity to provide us with energy during the day. I bought the system to save money in the long term and have emergency backup. Overall I do recommend B Solar Energy.

B Solar Energy provided a very speedy installation service and good support. We value being able to contact Mike easily and the fact B Solar Energy is a local company. We got the sense that this company will be able to meet our needs for additional installations.

From quote to installation, from administration to installers, we found B Solar Energy to be informative and helpful.
After a lot of deliberation, we choose to take the plunge and go for solar and battery installation. We contacted a number of companies and by far the quickest and informative response was B Solar Energy. After the initial contact and exchange of site information we were visited by B Solar Energy who talked us through the type of equipment they could provide and the process of installation that would be best for us.
A competitive price was agreed along with an installation date. On the day of the installation the weather was horrendous, with freezing temperatures and snow laying. However, true to their word, B Solar Energy arrived and carried out the work in a friendly and efficient fashion, answering any questions asked as they went along. They minimised the power supply disruption into the house to just a few minutes and installed the panels and battery with minimum fuss, clearing away all packaging and waste.
Having had the system for over 2 months we can honestly recommend B Solar Energy.

B-Solar were the only company I contacted who were willing to offer an initial site visit. Mike, aided by Benjamin, were very pleasant and recognised that I had a reasonable knowledge of what I was looking for. I'd spent time getting some rough roof measurements, getting hold of my energy consumption data and had thought about panel location and how I wished to benefit from excess daytime power generation that wouldn't be consumed, i.e. battery storage and a quality app to monitor what was happening. Mike quickly recognised this and configured a solution which was around my budget.
Moving on to installation, Mike's scaffolders were efficient and pleasant to have around. Fitting lasted 2 and a bit days, Matt the roofer and Harry the electrician involved me in all aspects of the fitting, explaining and agreeing where needed. When I asked Matt to reconfigure 4 lone panels on the front of the house this was not a problem. He was very precise about the 19 panels on the back which, all laid in my specific landscape arrangement, look very neat and stylish! Harry worked in my garage agreeing placement of the batteries, inverter and cabling. Both Matt and Harry were very happy to engage in conversation and I enjoyed having them around. Mike has followed up to check that I'm happy with the system, which I am, and all in all I cannot rate B-Solar high enough.

Energy security, even at the micro generation level, is important, so the extension to the system enabling us to use our stored power and inverter during a power cut will be a further benefit, especially if there are issues mid-winter as we’ll be able to keep the heat on.

We’re now enjoying free electricity and the ROI is significantly more than any other commercially available investment we could have made.

I had a system fitted by BSolarEnergy people almost two months ago. Mike made everything so straightforward without over selling which made me instantly believe their approach. I had spent many months researching and quoted all sorts of weird values. The guys who fitted it were very professional and knowledgeable. They were so organised and kept me abreast of their progress. They even cleaned up after themselves. It's only been a couple of months and it's being winter but the battery system coupled to my solar panels has performed better than we expected. I will only recommend that if you’re considering installation, consider a bigger battery to cover late night use-age otherwise you pay higher rate for the Grid feed. I'd recommend the company without hesitation.

Really pleased we took 'the plunge' and installed PV panels and battery storage using Bsolar Energy. Mike made the whole process easier by being very patient in answering all our questions and by not having a 'hard sell' attitude. Even after install Mike will always reply to any queries.
