I needed to change my email address as…

I needed to change my email address as my old one is defunct. The "Manage My Account" section does not allow me to change the email address. I tried the chat, but it keeps coming up as closed. I phoned the Brother customer support line after searching the Internet for it (it's not listed anywhere on the brother.ca website) but it was menu driven and no way could I talk to a person.

Horrible customer service

Horrible customer service. They have no cutomer service telephone service available, only chat. Prepare to be disconnected while using chat if you take longer than 30 seconds to respond....even though they take forever between replies. Ridiculous. If you want, you can accept their money grab for quicker paid service. Zero respect or appreciation for their customer's time.

Speed control messed up

Had a brother sewing machine, the speed was so messed up that I could only use the hand crank too, so it was absolutely frustrating

Beware of Brothers Printer

Bothers printer and ink is probably the worst machine and especially the ink is the lowest grade and the highest price for this crappy machine, I called to complain i think i was redirected to India ,they told me its corrupted driver, they wanted money, the ink is new, the printer 9months old rarely used. BEWARE OF BROTHERS , THEY ARE CORRUPT. all they did was run a scan thats it, MONEY is all they wanted, not helping me.

Service à la clientèle déficient

Le site web de Brother Canada est non fonctionnel : il m'a été impossible d'ouvrir un compte et d'enregistrer mon imprimante. Il n'y a pas de service à la clientèle au téléphone, en ligne j'ai été transféré à un service de dépannage externe payant.

I bought a Brother printer HL-L2390DW…

I bought a Brother printer HL-L2390DW less than a year and a half ago and faced an error with the toner. I replaced it with a new one, but the alarm did not disappear. When I called customer support, after waiting 50 minutes on the phone, they told me I had to pay for advanced troubleshooting. I am completely disappointed with Brother and the way they treat their customers. I will never buy Brother products again.

Awful Technical Support

I bought a Printer/Fax/Scanner but I cannot download software for it. Technical support is awful. I am planning to return the item back and never buy any product from Brother although the products are good.

The CS Dept that FELL from near perfect !!!

What once was a most brilliant Customer Service Operation is now ...... HORRIBLE !!!!! Inaccessible, automated ....... incompetent!!!!! Such fine product ......and some Executive decides to save money by revamping their CS Department - genius ....DUHHHHH!!!!!!!!! Have a brand new printer thats waaaay under used ....... that suddenly won’t turn on .........and getting help for it ........is Liken claiming Mt Everestt !!!!!! Our loyalty the Brand is rapidly waning .........ALMOST GONE ....... Heloo HP and Epson ........ talk to me ...... Cause my Brother aint !!!!

I am unable to connect with Brother.ca

I am unable to connect with Brother.ca. I got an email offering 30% off toner and when I went to my cart 10%, 20%, & 30% off was not accepted. I have been trying for 3 days to contact them and am unable to have a CHAT with Brother. In the past I have had no problems ordering from Brother.ca. What has happened ?

Horrible customer support.

I will give less than one star. Please do not buy Brother products in canada. Their customer support is horrible. They dont have phone support and neither chat support. Only email support and it takes months to get a response. I regret buying their printer. Please do not make mistakes of buying their product.

Horrible experience

This has been my worst oline buying experience - ever. There is no way to cancel an order or speak to a human agent. I've spent five hours trying to speak to someone without success. Deal with this company at your peril.

Angry and disgusted

My new printer came with no instructions on how to link printer to wifi or to computer. There was no wire to connect printer and computer. I wasted and an hour and had to pay a technician to hook it up. It took over an hour. No customer service to phone number, lousy website. Ready to return.

Sales & Support line

I had an inquiry about a replacement model for the MFC L-5900dw printer. Chat bot is terrible, it is not programmed to answer such a query. Phoned 800 tel no 4x today Jan 23/25, waited 30 mins on hold then line went dead 2x. Absolutely ZERO interest in customer service for potential sales! I can imagine how terrible their tech support must be. Fortunately their printers are pretty decent, its their SERVICE/SUPPORT that is rock bottom!

BUY something else NO WARRENTY

BUY something else! Warrenty non existrant. Used cartrages resonable priced not gouging from day one. Black accepted, three others declined printer dead. BROTHER help, buy more expensive, not listed in warrenty but we are not responsible for 15 month machine with extended all inclusive warrenty.
Brother based in Quebec need I say more!

Support technique innaceptable

Lors des 2 dernières mises à jour recommandées par Brother, mon imprimante a cessé de fonctionner. Impossible de parler avec un humain, le seul service qui existe est en clavardage avec un ROBOT qui n'est absoluement d'aucune aide. J'ai été obligé de supprimer tous les fichiers de Brother sur mon disque dur et de repartir avec le CD d'origine fourni lors de l'achat. Jamais plus je n'achèterai cette marque

During the last 2 updates recommended by Brother, my printer stopped working. Impossible to speak with a human, the only service that exists is in chat with a ROBOT who is absolutely no help. I was forced to delete all the Brother files on my hard drive and leave with the original CD provided when I bought it. I will never buy this brand again

Brother Canada may not even exist

Brother Canada may not even exist. I have tried so many times to contact them. No success. I changed my email address and have spent hours trying to advise Brother. In my profile I can edit everything except my email address. How much control do they want? My printer now has a code 50 which is really a failure of some of their plastic. I used HP for about 13 years without a failure.

Return item and never got refund

I bought some of their label for their printer. But it was not what I needed. So I ask to return it via their process and they gave me RMA number. I sent all unopened sticker rolls and I have the proof they received it. But I never get my money back. Now i'm in an infinite process to try to get my money back. They don't have any phone number to call them.

I bought a Brother printer

I bought a Brother printer. Worked for a while then windows 11 seems to have caused an issue. Brother agreed to replace it with a new unit, 30% off. They have cancelled my order twice, can’t get people on the phone, they insist everything is done by email or chat which is ridiculous. Took 5 days to diagnose my issue via chat could have been done in 60 or 90 mins by phone. Not sure why they can’t just pick up a phone. I have asked many times to resolve my issues.

Imprimante et mauvaise pratique

Mon imprimante fonctionnait très bien. Toute les couleurs était numéro un et aucun indice portais à croire à un manque d'ancre exception la jauge logiciel. Il me manquant 10 pages pour imprimer un document extrêmement important. J'ai retiré la cartouche, souffler redémarrer, mais absolument rien. J'ai compris qu'un firmware devais empêcher toute tentative d'impression. Je savais que HP ou Cannons faisais ce genre de pratique mais je ne pensais pas que Brother s'y aurais mis aussi. Le pire c'est que quand les gens de mon entourage envisageaient acheter une imprimante c’était mon argument béton pour convaincre de se tourner vers Brother. Je leurs disais toujours que ce sont les seules imprimantes qui ne forcent pas le consommateur à acheter même si la cartouche commence à fatiguer. Je suis très déçu de ma nouvelle imprimante.
