Only care about money
I bought a ticket for the Ivanov play believing that the performance would be on the 2nd of august 2026. I live in Denmark and I thought this would be a good experience on my holiday in London.
When I arrived at The Bridge Theatre, I found out, that the performance would be on the 2nd of august in 2027. I contacted The Bridge Theatre hoping that I could get a refund, since this was obviously a mistake, and they wrote back:
“Dear Johan
Thank you for your email.
Unfortunately as the dates are clearly posted on our website, I am unable to offer you a refund. What I can do is return the booking to credit on your Bridge account, or alternatively book you in to see another show here at the Bridge.
Best wishes
XXX”
Afterwards I can see on their website, that it is clear, that the performance is in 2027. But they plays are not chronically correct in order on their website, where they have squeezed the 2027 play between two 2026 plays. Hence the mistake.
Obviously I am not going to see the play in 2027, and due to The Bridge Theatres bad costumer service, I am not going to visit The Bridge Theatre in the futere.
If you are going to buy tickets to a show on The Bridge Theatre, be aware that there are no refunds, and they are misleading you at their website.
