I own a BMW 2 SERIES ACTIVE TOURER and at 16000 miles the tyres require changing. I don't drive erratic or at excessive speeds and generally im the only person in the car. Tyre pressures are on constant monitoring and alignment checked each time it visits the dealership. I honestly think this is ridiculous and Bridgestone customer service have been dismissive of the issue. What do you think?

Ich habe Reifen bestellt und sie haben mir defekte Reifen geschickt. Jetzt versuchen sie zu beweisen, dass die Reifen in Ordnung sind und ich dafür bezahlen muss. Wenn ich nicht zahle, schicken sie ein Inkassobüro. Übrigens habe ich die Reifen zurückgeschickt und muss jetzt die Luft nachfüllen. Kauft niemals Reifen online, das ist ein absolutes Chaos.

I purchased a new transit van that came with Bridgestone tires.
After about 8000 miles two of them delaminated after sending them back approximately 3 months later they put a recall on those tires.
As I had already sent mine back and changed the other two a a precaution they said tough luck basically you don’t have a claim for new tires. I would not pug their hires on a wheelbarrow with that customer service

I submitted a claim under the Bridgestone Tyre Mileage Guarantee for a set of Bridgestone Turanza All Season 6 tyres fitted to my MG5 EV on 21 July 2026.

The claim remains showing as "New" in the portal. Multiple emails have gone unanswered, including an escalation from Kwik Fit on my behalf. Nearly two weeks later I have received no acknowledgement, no update and no indication of timescales.

I cannot understand the complete lack of communication from the scheme administrator. A simple acknowledgement, claim reference or explanation of the process would go a long way.

I hope my experience proves to be an exception. However, after repeated attempts to obtain even basic information, it is difficult to have confidence that the scheme is being actively administered.

I look forward to receiving a response from Bridgestone and updating this review accordingly.

Having raised this review and a similar one on Kwikfit; this was very quickly and amicably addressed by Kwikfit and I got some reimbursement for mileage shortfall against the guaranteed distance. I'm still not actually convinced the claim portal (through bridgestone) is actually monitored though.

Ich habe bei AUTODOC einen Satz Bridgestone Turanza All Season 6 (215/60 R16) für rund 500 € gekauft. Die Bestellung und Lieferung verliefen problemlos.

Die Fahreigenschaften der Reifen sind gut. Sie sind leise, komfortabel und bieten sowohl auf trockener als auch auf nasser Fahrbahn guten Grip. Nach einer Laufleistung von nur etwa 20.000 km bemerkte ich jedoch feine Risse an der Oberfläche des Profils. Für einen Premiumreifen dieser Preisklasse hat mich das überrascht.

Ich habe daraufhin sowohl Bridgestone Deutschland als auch AUTODOC kontaktiert. Bridgestone teilte mir schriftlich mit, dass eine technische Prüfung grundsätzlich möglich ist, diese jedoch ausschließlich über den Händler eingeleitet werden kann.

Zunächst erhielt ich von AUTODOC lediglich die Mitteilung, dass die Gewährleistungsfrist abgelaufen sei, verbunden mit einem Gutschein über 20 €. Nachdem ich die Antwort von Bridgestone weitergeleitet hatte, wurde mein Anliegen erneut geprüft. Am Ende teilte mir AUTODOC jedoch mit, dass nach Ablauf der zweijährigen Gewährleistungsfrist kein Gewährleistungsfall mehr beim Hersteller eröffnet werden könne.

Ich respektiere diese Entscheidung. Dennoch hätte ich mir bei einem Premiumprodukt und einer möglichen technischen Fragestellung mehr Unterstützung und eine kundenorientiertere Lösung gewünscht.

Mein persönliches Fazit: Die Produkteigenschaften während der Nutzung waren gut, mit der Bearbeitung meiner Reklamation bin ich jedoch enttäuscht. Beim nächsten Reifenkauf werde ich wahrscheinlich einen Reifen aus der Mittelklasse wählen, da ich persönlich bei diesem Premiumreifen keinen entsprechenden Vorteil hinsichtlich der Haltbarkeit feststellen konnte.

Bought 1 pair of all weather tyre for my honda crv .within 1.5 year with mileage of 10500 tyres worn to 3 mm and both tyres chipping and cracking.i bought it from Halfords and they said its normal wear and tear.Absolutely shocking..
Needs to improve the quality of tyre for a well known company like Bridgestone

when I bought, had Bridgestone in my Jeep patriot , kept the car for 3 years, never had any issue. In my x3 put the same, 2years and 15k miles, so far no issue. In my van (vivaro) after 6 years and 45k miles the tires are still good, but is recommended to change after 6 years, so gonna replace in next few weeks.

Just bought four Bridgestone Potenza s005 car tyres.
Checked the tread depth when I got home, and all 4 were 6mm. Expected at least 8mm +
Went back to tyre fitter and they said yes, 6mm. They said they contacted supplier who confirmed they should be 6mm.
Not convinced. Have contacted Bridgestone by email several times with no reply.
Don't think these will last very long.

My car is fitted with Bridgestone Tyres from new and after a few Months I noticed a small bulge in the tyre wall. I did not hit any potholes and there is no damage to my wheel whatsoever. I sent back to Bridgestone because in my opinion it should have been covered under warranty and after a couple of Months and many emails chasing them, they finally came back to me to say it was damaged by the road surface and nothing to do with them. Their customer service has been absolutely appalling and there is no way that the tyre should have failed in this way. Not a premium tyre in my opinion and I would definitely not recommend fitting these to your vehicle.

Fitted 4 new bridgestone tyres on Hyundai IX35 in May 24. 5 months on and 4000mls and one of them is down to 2.5 mm. Aligment was checked at time of fitting, These tyres awere manufactured in Poland and I wonder are they lower quality than Japeneese.
I used to work for Michelin and they considered Bridgestone to be as good as theirs. Very dissappointed.

I bought four new Bridgestone Turanza tyres for a VW UP from ETB in Evesham just under three years ago. Since then the car has done less than 10,000 miles. As one might expect there is minimal tread wear. However there is considerable perishing or cracking between the treads. This cannot be right? It was noted during MOT last April 2023. The MOT inspector expressed concern that the tyres were cracked given their age and minimal mileage. A year on it is worse and I am concerned that it may be dangerous. I wondered if this was a common problem with Bridgestone tyres? ETB are going to return the tyres to Bridgestone for inspection, but I have to buy new replacement tyres while that is done. I understand from ETB that the process could take two months. I'm not happy and suggest ETB could liaise with Bridgestone using photographs/trade knowledge for an immediate decision and replacement.

I have Bridgestone tyres all round on my Mercedes E220 estate, the tyres have done about 7,000 miles, they still look like new but on the edges have cracked with each tyre about £180, this tyres are not worth the money for soon I have to change this tyres for not been road worthy
