I invested at the Coral Beach Resort in Brazil with BRIC around 15 years ago. Back then they were hugely professional. I met their lawyers and architects and they gave me a tour of the investment. It was magical. I’d like to highlight that this was 15 years ago!
BRIC had grand plans. It was a marvellous vision. They owned the land. They had the plan. I stood on the land I bought and was so excited for the future.
Fast forward to today:
BRIC are going bankrupt (in my opinion for legal protection’s sake). They have failed to deliver the gems needed to make a crown (gems being commercial aspects to supplement residential aspects). The resort still has the same potential though. What happened to the all the commercial plans for shops, restaurants, football pitches etc? They took the money from investors and didn’t reinvest it. They have chosen to bleed the resort dry.
That’s not the worst about them. They are also facing massive numbers of lawsuits for their dodgy behaviour. It was recently reported they have closed their brazil office. They are taking their money and running away it seems. At the start it was very professional. You buy a land plot and they send you the land title to prove you own it. Now? They take the money and keep it (to pay back their investors it’s assumed) while the purchaser has essentially lost their money (no title means you have been scammed) forcing them to sue BRIC to obtain their land title. Some owners report they still have not received their land title after a year! They do get it in the end. But reports are that some people only got theirs after lawsuits, 2 years after purchase.
Another nail in BRIC’s coffin. The ongoing corruption of running the place. As they have not delivered on the resort plan, the value of owner purchased plots has stalled, therefore, sales have slowed and almost stopped. BRIC still owns a lot of land plots. That brings us to the owners association.
When you own anything at the coral you become a member of the ‘Owners Association’. This organisation manages the Coral. All owners are required to pay ‘association’ fees yearly. Guess who determines what fees you pay? At each annual meeting there is a vote from the ‘owners’. BRIC always has the majority so they vote for whatever they want. And they don’t allow any of their individual owners to even talk at the meeting! It’s comical. I’ve read a meeting minutes where the BRIC guy said, well we have lots of villas now, let’s charge them double! For years there was no way for international buyers to even dial in to these meetings. That’s changed in the last 5 years or so (they probably laugh at this). You can dial in and listen only. And they make you sit in silence for 30 mins before each meeting! Meeting starts at 10? Nope. Starts at 10:30. Year after year. It’s like they enjoy taking the piss. No investor is allowed to speak on the calls so the BRIC rep can decide anything they want. Motion passes they say! Everyone agrees they say! Although the only one that agrees is the BRIC rep. The ‘owners association’ (Which BRIC controls) is being sued for fraud by the ‘little owners’. The chair of the owners association works for BRIC the last I saw.
Final nail in BRIC’s coffin. I mentioned I’ve owned the land for 15 years right? I did try to sell it through BRIC as they trumpet that there is an exit avenue. They told me this is the price it’s worth. 10k USD increase in value from 35k after 10 years. And then I find out they were offering plots for 100k USD more to new investors. They were trying to rip off their core investors 100k per plot. What a great company this is.
On a positive note. The owners that have bought are all together against BRIC. But not against the Coral. It’s clear BRIC are pulling out. Leaving an opening. The owners are all together to start developing what BRIC promised. They would love a new developer to come along and scoop up a bargain. Whatever BRIC still owns could and should be available for pennies on the dollar. And they would have 50+ owners all ready to sign a letter of intent to support them in whatever their investment goals are. This review is a one star for BRIC. Not a one star for the coral. The Coral is where I will retire. Living on the beach, water temp like a bath, and some of the most stunning scenery life has to offer. If you want to live in paradise, wait until BRIC is gone and come join the magic.

Investir sur BRIC Group: scam!
J'ai acheté em 2022 un terrain et une maison a à construire au Coral Beach Resort ao Ceará, Brésil. L'expérience avant l'achat a été positive, incluant une visite sur les lieux tous frais payés. Mais il m'a fallu vite déchanter. Ma maison aurait du être construite en deux ans, tandis que mon délai de paiement s'étalait sur 3 ans. Le permis de construire a mis un an, et 30 mois après l'achat, la construction n'a pas commencé! Pis encore, le SAV est lamentable, et les réponses à mes nombreuses demandes d'information étaient vagues et promettaient le début de la construction "sous deux mois". Le groupe prévoyait la construction d'un hôtel 5 étoiles sur le site, ce qui évidemment aurait valorisé mon investissement; l'hôtel aurait du être inauguré en 2024, mais en Juin 2025, "le projet doit être revu". Aux dernières nouvelles (Mars 2025), la construction "ne pourra pas se faire dans un horizon prévisible". Les avis publiés ici sont suspects, car tous les retours d'acheteurs réels que j'ai vu sont négatifs.

I have invested in The Coral Q 40 since May 2023 and till now there has been very little progress .The last update I received was that the ground has been leveled that was April 2025 .
i have tried every number that I could find some are not in service and others go direct to voicemail I cant even find a direct number for head office or an address very concerning ,even emails take days for a response .

Funny and questionable to see all of a sudden several very recent positive comments from all over the world. But, if true, this is fantastic!
I invested in Brazil with them, but the occupancy rate is far below expectation. So not a good investment at all. Also underline the lack of communication/transparency with investors. A pitty because the place has great potential!!!
I was sold land in Florida that has LOST VALUE
I was sold land in Florida that was supposedly appreciating in value fast in 2022 and now I cant even get rid of it, with the value going down rather than up and, like mine, loads of undeveloped unwanted plots.. BRIC told me that the taxes were 300 USD per year but they are now $800 and BRIC's phone numbers in both Spain and the US have all now gone offline, though I see they are still selling overpriced properties in Brazil, apparently. The same ones have been on their website for 3 years so also not doing well.

I bought my plot several years ago. As expected it was difficult process until I finally got the title deed. But also the land was just a running cost of service charges accommodation and depreciation in value opposite of what was expected. Very poor communication with the managers. No response to emails or WhatsApp.
Only problems
A major disappointment, there are only problems with the Brazilian investment. The rental fees stipulated in the contract are not being paid. Anyone is unreachable by phone, decision-makers do not respond to emails, and only vague replies are received. Obtaining the property title deed was a torturous process, and now it turns out that it may not be entirely legal. The quality of the project's execution is highly questionable, as is the professional management of the resort. The value of the investment is not increasing but actually decreasing. I warn everyone to avoid purchasing property from BRIC.

Además de la Abogada que representa los comprobantes, es la Directora de la empresa que posee muchos conflictos de intereses.
Es la peor inversión que hemos hecho, es prácticamente impossible vender la propiedad sin perder una buena parte de la inversión

UK commercial assets
Also have been long term clients of BRIC Group. Not as old as some of these client’s comments but we started late 2018 so 5 years. Times goes fast.
Really and truthfully it’s fairly evident the way this company treats its clients just looking over other comments.
Our purchases were into the UK commercial real estate on the lower end of investments. We bought the 4 spaces for £80k combined. We had a slight issue internally as one of our partners sadly passed away so it delayed sales proceeds.
None the less we sold the 4 units for £200k in the end.
What else is there to say really? Making profit so easily is hard to come by and BRIC have been brilliant from day dot.
We had a great time with all you guys. Maybe we do something later down the line. Reviews came up in my feed so I felt compelled to show my thanks

I invested in a plot in Coral in 2016 and I must say that the entire process has been professional and honest. I have been able to deed my plot and receive the deeds correctly. I also did the inspection trip and all the information about the project, the construction of the villas, etc is complete as they offer it to you in their brochures. They invited us to spend three days in a beautiful hotel near the Resort and also to transfer to Fortaleza. The team is very professional and they always respond to everything very quickly. The only thing that perhaps I liked less is that I had to wait a few months for the signature at the notary because they were saturated but this is something that was out of their hands. In general, everything has been perfect. Thank you so much.

I made real money
Have had a long term relation with BRIC Group, throughout my investments experiences with real estate turn-overs, BRIC have proven to be the wisest decision i've made over the years. Very sound advice from BRIC when it comes to foreclosure properties where my profit exceeded expectations at every turn and on every purchase.

En Diciembre de 2021 compré un loft en The Coral, estado de Ceara (Brasil). Durante todo el proceso me han ido informando de todos los detalles y cada mes he recibido un informe con el desarrollo de la construcción del loft. Después de año y medio, he ido a visitar el resort. Esto ha sido el fin de semana anterior del 16 al 17 de Junio 2023. Me han pagado el alojamiento. Se han encargado del transporte, he tenido un guía (Santiago, que vale su precio en oro) y me reembolsan casi todo el coste del vuelo que he tenido que comprar. La verdad, no tengo más que palabras de agradecimiento para Bric Group. Todas las personas que me han atendido, han superado siempre mis expectativas. Recomiendo totalmente la empresa si estás interesado en invertir en propiedades en el extranjero.

I strongly recommend not investing
I strongly recommend not investing in this company.
In 2019 I bought a plot of land in Brazil. The contract says that the plot of land will be transferred to my name - (meaning I will receive the tittle deeds). It is 2023 and I have not received any tittle deeds.
Unfortunately, I also decided to build a villa in that plot of land since they promised me that the land will be transferred to my name.
So now 4 years after I started this "investment" and I have nothing.
At this point I have started legal actions against them to get my money back for a breach of contract.
There are important links like terms and conditions missing or not working in their website so it is difficult to know who to take legal actions against but I do have a record of conversations and names and I will start with them.
