They tried to cheat the toll cost, by 1.23$ apparently
which then cost me an additional 24.53$ dollars in handling fees.
In other words, you can't trust the prices on their website, this close to doubled the price for me.

The quality and comfort of the ear pads I got for my mt50x are great. Better than original, improves the audio, and I expect the sheepskin won't flake like my old PU originals.

The delivery service they used wasnt very helpful with their tracking. I'm in Australia and they used auspost for the final leg (which I didn't know), and when I couldn't find the parcel (it was hidden outside by the postie) trying to get an idea of where it may be was a pain.

Adithya at Brainwavz replied promptly, but when I was speaking to the postal team that handed the parcel to auspost (morning global) the service was honestly a bit too blasé as their attitude was their job was done! Adithya at brainwavz was polite and responsive over the 6 days the parcel was hidden in my yard, shame she doesn't work for morning global, as maybe I'd have my ear pads a week earlier!

I had to pay an additional €11 in clearance fees on top of the product price, even though shipping to my home in the Netherlands was supposedly included. Overall, it was not a good experience. In the end, I paid almost four times what the product was worth.

The company’s communication, customer service, and support were also disappointing and did not meet my expectations. I would not recommend spending your money with a company that is not transparent about costs and does not provide professional customer service when handling orders.

Advertised that they would be a 2 day delivery so ordered a bracket and told my client I'll install 5 days from when I ordered thinking I had plenty of time. Its now 5 days on and the shipping says still 5-7 days away.

I hate it when companies like this hide behind what you think is a local presence to discover they are based in Hong Kong! I could have made a better informed decision and purchased a local product albeit at 2 x the price and 4 days delivery. Sometimes it's not about the cost and more about the time frame. I honestly only bought from these guys as the delivery was supposed to be in half the time as the local guys. Thanks for making my business look stupid now!

Je commande et paie un article à 40 € frais de port compris. Je reçois ensuite un droit de douane à payer de 29 € pour débloquer le colis. C'est une arnaque de ne pas être informé de ce coût supplémentaire au moment de l'achat. Ce site ne respecte pas le code de droit économique alors qu'il vend en UE. les prix doivent être affichés TTC en Europe. Mais ils vendent depuis Hong Kong sans le dire clairement. A éviter !

Nie wieder, lieferzeiten mit 3-5 tage angegeben... jetzt sind schon über 2 wochen vergangen und laut tracking steckt das noch irgendwo in den niederlanden. bestellt am 09, in europa 2 wochen später angekommen aus hongkong!?! ich warte noch immer und was warscheinlich auf mich noch dazu kommt sind sicher zoll und abgaben...

nachtrag: 2 monate vergangen und noch immer nicht da

ich soll noch ein monat warten um das postproblem zu klären ... erst dann würde ich mein betrag zurückbekommen.

Very poor experience with Brainwavz. I purchased earpads that turned out to be faulty and had to return them. Although they refunded the item price, they refused to reimburse the £5 original shipping and the £10.80 return postage I had to pay because of the faulty product.

Disappointing customer service and not a company I would buy from again.

items not delivered to the correct address, customs declaration was blatantly incorrect.
Readying more reviews and it seems super common occurrence, that you will pay for the items but the items never appear.

I paid 7,95 € as shipping costs for earpads (in a small bag of paper). The shipments started from Netherlands.
Today I received the goods after about 1 month... from Hong Kong and not from NL!
They are making drop shipping from China, and I paid also the extra customs cost of 3,95 €.

First, after several days of not receiving any tracking info and their website banner stating 2-4 day delivery I reached out to see why I hadn’t received any tracking info. They said that there was a delay due to their Amazon warehouse inventory movement and was asked to wait a couple more days after a few days. I finally received the tracking info and the package was subsequently delivered.
I checked my bank statement and come to find out they processed my order from out of the country so I was charged a foreign transaction fee, which was not stated anywhere visible to me when I was checking out. When I reached out to them they said that I was charged the correct amount and if I have an issue with the foreign transaction fee to reach out to my bank. Again nowhere does it say that I’m going to get charged a foreign transaction fee when checking out on this website.

STAY AWAY! Terrible customer service and illegal practices.

​I am extremely disappointed with Brainwavz Audio. I placed two orders (#BW224151WB and #BW224124WB) totaling £49.00.
​Misdelivery: The courier delivered my parcel to the completely wrong district (Glasgow G52 instead of G31). Even though the tracking clearly shows this error, Brainwavz refuses to help and told me to contact the courier myself, which is a breach of the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015.
​Broken Items: The item that did arrive (headphone stand) was smashed and broken because they sent a fragile 3D-printed product in a cheap bubble mailer instead of a box.
​Terrible Support: Their agent (Adithya) officially stated they "are unable to take this any further" and closed my case without a refund or replacement.
​They take your money and leave you with nothing. I have now initiated a chargeback with Bank of Scotland and reported them to Citizens Advice. Do not buy from them if you live in the UK!

I am extremely disappointed. I waited two weeks for the ear pads and had to pay customs duty. And their quality is terrible! They are smaller than the originals. One is smaller than the other. The seams are very uneven, which means they don't fit properly on the headphones. The material itself seems to be of good quality, but I wouldn't buy them again even for a third of the price. Their website does not allow me to attach photos, even in very low resolution.

They do not include VAT in checkout despite shipping from the EU, I ordered a replacement pad for my hd280. They shipped from NL yet I've had to pay customs once the package arrived.

Purchased replacement ear pads for headphones. They took two weeks to arrive. Communication was good, product is good.

Do NOT buy from this company. Product never arrived and they wash their hands of it.

Brainwavz does not tell during the purchase that the company is in Singapore and the customer is responsible on possible customs fees. The information is found from the page but for a customer that is not careful this might come as a surprise.

I ordered angled pads but I seemed to get 2pcs of left ear pads. I could just install the other pad to the right speaker upside down, but then the sewing seam would face up. Brainwavz's own instructions precisely say that the seam should face downwards. Also the seam up doesn't look good especially when the other seam is facing down.

Customer service did not want to solve this by sending me a new pad but they simply denied the pads are not different for left and right ear which is simply a lie since basically all their instruction videos say the seam must go down on both sides.

I ordered a headphone cable from Brainwavz.
The tracking shows “delivered”, but the package was not delivered to me.
The “proof of delivery” photo clearly shows a different porch and a different person’s hand holding the parcel.
The shipping label was missing my apartment number, so the package went to the wrong address.
I contacted Brainwavz support multiple times, provided the POD images, and explained that the delivery location is not my home.
Despite this, the seller refused to reship or refund the order and keeps insisting that the delivery is valid, even though the photo proves otherwise.
This has been extremely frustrating.
I had to open complaints with the carrier, Shopify, and my bank.
I cannot recommend this store based on my experience.
