We ordered a Christmas dinner for 2 and it was ready on the collection time and everything was in separate trays with individual instructions.
We had Turkey, roast potatoes, sprouts, carrots and swedes, parsnips, sausages, stuffing and gravy.
Everything was delicious apart from the Turkey which was tough. It was a slices rolled around stuffing and layers of bacon wrapped around it.
If it is just thick slices of Turkey next year then we will order again. It is excellent value for money and idiot proof.

I am a longstanding customer of Booths Garstang. Yesterday I purchased 3 salmon steaks for £10. When I got to the counter, one of the packs did not have the offer on even though it was in the same shelving area. Therefore I went back and there were none left. There was one in the sale area and I said I was happy to have those 3 for £10 even though it was only £9 and change. They wouldnt put it through. Therefore they credited the 3 that I had already put through which cost £15 and in the end I looked at my statement and all they did was no credit to my account but charged me again for all 3 pieces of salmon Absolutely disgusted with the service. My bill should have been less than £60 due to the credit and rebill but instead it is now £73....I cannot believe the incompetency of the young lad at the counter. Not his fault but Booths fault for lack of training and client experience education. One customer down Booths.

Full marks to Booths, who seem to have installed a bank of rapid EV
charging points at all their stores. Park up, put on charge (worked first time), go for a shop in lovely environment, cup of coffee or short walk (or both), return to car and it's fully charged. That's great customer service!

We have shopped at Booths for nearly 40 years. Their Hallmark was excellent customer service and good quality local produce. No longer. We had the misfortune to have breakfast at their Garstang branch. It used to be brilliant, it is now best avoided, it was awful. To make matters worse I complained via Twitter to Booths and although I received an immediate insincere apology there has been no follow up explaining why their wonderful freshly cooked breakfasts had gone to the dogs. Funnily enough the Booths meat was always beautiful, we have bought sirloin steaks from the meat counter recently and the meat was tough as old boots. On the other hand the steaks from our local butcher were beautiful. In view of Booths "couldn't care less attitude" to a loyal customer who has passed £000 through their tills over the years, I will be shopping elsewhere from now on...Booths are NOT the company they once were and are best avoided. They treat loyal customers with nothing but utter contempt. If there was a zero score on here that would be the option I would select.

They can't even be bothered to put nutritional information on some of their pre-packaged products. I have never ever purchased any pre-packaged item from any other shop or supermarket that doesn't have this information

Ray the racist doorman shouted at me ‘MASK!’, no good morning, no hello. I told him he should not ask people as it’s not his business to do so. Ray the racist then preceded to follow me around the store both berating, belittling and constantly pointing at me. When complained to the manager the assistant manager informed he can point at who he likes.

Well, I hope the woman staff member at Hale Barns who basically told an 81 year old couple,( one who has dementia) to buy something or move, even though the place was empty, is happy with themselves... absolutely disgusting!!! Avoid this empty, coffee shop, there are plenty others that offer amazing customer service, and at cheaper prices.

We bought what was referred to as “light fruit cake” it should have read “ginger cake with very little fruit which has sunk to the bottom”. Very dry.

We ordered some food, two scones and two coffees. One coffee came, the second coffee followed 5 minutes later. One sugar and one teaspoon between two coffees. I went to the service to request the scones to eat with the coffee. Two scones came on one plate. I made another visit to the service to request another plate. Both scones, which were stale and dry (appalling), were eaten with the luke warm coffee.The rest of the order came 10 minutes later.

Dark dirty store very very grubby looking staff don’t expect any sort of good customer service unless you happen to be a regular they just stare at you and carry on talking not good don’t know what management are doing but it’s certainly not they’re jobs thankfully Marks and Spencer is just across the car park

Horrible Place. Windermere store has disgusting staff, won’t be back. Rude and unhelpful. Get yourself to Sainsbury’s or co op much better than this dump

Living in London, I had never heard of Booths but did an Amazon Fresh order last week which included a curry from them, which I thought was pretty good when I ate it. Nice to see only real ingredients in it rather than the usual chemicals. Would have given it 5 stars except that it was described as for two people - maybe if neither of them is very hungry! Will be using them again.

Had a bad product over Christmas. Customer service sorted the issue straight away. Impressed.

This is the 4th/5th year we have ordered our Christmas day food from Booths in Penwortham, absolutely everything was superb, the Turkey Crown was easily the best one we had cooked, it was beautifully succulent, I may take a little of the credit for that!!.. Thank you again Booths...... No out of date or gone off turkey here.... Buy Booths, get quality.

Overprice tasteless food- wont be back. I spent 120.00 on party food for Christmas day - result was tasteless rubbery chicken - 7 small pieces for 7.00, pakoras without a hint of spice, same for bajis and samosas, veg tart where pastry welded to the tray after 10 mins in oven, dry focaccia bread, cheap nasty prawns, dry brie and cranberry parcels. cheap disgusting cheesecake etc etc etc - save your money and try Aldi, half price and far better quality

Did a Christmas food to order a month in advance. On collecting my order at 1.30pm on Christmas Eve, was devastated to see my whisky and orange gammon substituted for a plain piece of gammon and a jar of cheap marmalade! Too late to go looking elsewhere at that time Xmas eve. Wow, they didn't give me what I ordered and they then decided to charge me an extra £5 for the substituted item. Not happy at all. They did deduct the extra £5 from my £149 bill. Rang customer services after getting home. Someone took details and said they would contact me shortly. Still waiting.
Will never ever go to booths again.

Booths in Ripon it’s like going home. All the staff are friendly and willing to help. In fact more than willing. In particular I commend Melly for excellent communication skills, a friendly face at all times and Steve the booze man again excellent communication and such a wealth of information about various beverages. This is not limited to more mature people as the young ones are brilliant and obviously follow good leadership. Well done to all those giving us a fantastic service in what has been a most difficult year
