A very useless customer service
A very useless customer service. I bought a 22 dollars sim card prepayd pack from servo, clearly written an expiration date of next year, but when activated, have an error an expired card. I message the the customer service responded that they can not do anything about it, I need to return the card. Not possible to me because the servo is 300kms away from home and they stated its the fault of servo for selling expired card. well it very clear on the card that the supposed expiration woul be next year. The customer service keep telling me that can not do anything about it.

The worst company l have ever dealt with bought a new iPhone from boost with the $35 boost mobile sim in its own sealed pack expires Aug 2025
This was for my daughter who is starting high school next year 45km away in a rural area so will be very important.
Tryed to activate last night it came back sim card has never been activated but there is a problem and it can't be activated ( sim is still in it's card not even touched )
I am told now that l need my order number ok no probs, then l am told my order number which was ordered through boost website has boost written all over it, is not a boost order number and there is nothing else l can do.
Today my sim says it's expired and quite clearly says Aug 2025 l was looking for a change this definitely is not it STAY AWAY FROM BOOST if you value your sanity
A mess of a company!
I tried to purchase a sim from them 3 times but I wasn't successful! Tried contacting them on their chat which was a hit and miss! Then called the number on their website (1800 100 933) which was actually Telestra, and they had no idea what Boost company is!! So changed my mind! From comments, it seems I made a correct choice!
issue with eSim and roll over to physical sim
Worst customer service I never had like this before. I bought new phone and ,l wanted to transfer my eSim from my old phone. I tried from their transfer the eSim to other phone I got error message and called them, they said my phone is not in their eSim service. I called them what can I do they said get replacement sim, and I asked them where can I get, they said go to Telatra shop and I will get it, I went to Telatra shop asked for replacement sim , but they said can't provide for Boost customer again I called them. They said buy $2 starter pack and we will roll over your plan to new physical sim and I can use it. I bought the sim and called them, the guy deactivated the eSim, call disconnected , I called from other phone and explained the thing the guy said it's come in replacement sim so all remaining data's vanished and only 28 days valid, but the guy who transfer eSi. to physical sim never say anything about data roll-over, now I lost nearly 10GB data and 15 days of expiry date.

Tried porting a number across and once ported I could receive calls but couldn’t make them.
I contacted Boost customer service and they advised they would get back to me…. They never got back to me despite me following up every day…. Just got transferred to customer support in India where they were extremely unhelpful. They promised the world but delivered on nothing. After 1-2 weeks of stuffing around and receiving no result I asked for a refund and they agreed. The process to get a refund was even more stressful as they said as I had purchased the SIM card from a third party they were unable to refund me. I’m not sure why they didn’t tell me this in the first place when I originally asked for the refund but decided to tell me this a week later after my initial enquiry after I followed up as to why my refund was not processed yet… in the end I never got the refund but they offered me a lower plan than what I had initially bought.
Now Boost Mobile erased 20 gigs of data…
Now Boost Mobile erased 20 gigs of data and claimed I used it. They confirmed my data during the 10 hours of trying to get the internet working yesterday. This is the tip of the iceberg concerning the problems I've had with Boost Mobile. They reset, refreshed, and erased. I still have no internet.

I lost a SIM card 3 months ago it’s taken me this long to give up trying to get it back even though I just renewed my yearly plan the customer service of boost is absolute garbage the constant palm offs and not giving a f*k isn’t even the worst of it some how. I lost my phone bought a new one and a sim oh what’s this can’t just do it like every other sim and reactivate your old number no that would be too simple so I message them online, oh we can’t renew SIM cards online you have to call this number, fine what ever call the number. no worry’s sir I’ll just have to verify who you are by sending a one time code to your phone??

Stop right there I chalked Sydney out of boredom and didn’t see a store come up but even if there was one I wouldn’t be driving the better part of 3 hours to get there to add an email to my account it’s absolutely ridiculous.
After arguing with these 2 for another 5 minutes he finally came up with a solution as I clearly wasn’t giving up this time until they found a solution they wrote me a customer reference number for Telstra to let me fix my details through them this kind of annoyed me cause it seems like someone in the midddle be it boost online or the guy at the Telstra store should have been able to help me before but what ever he gauranteed me this would work so I go to the Telstra store different one to last time just to be sure I might get better service and the guy there was very helpful got it all sorted and fixed up a temp number for me etc so we call the boost guy together with the Telstra employee and we FINALLY get the SIM card sent.
Seems this as much of the review I can write here in short never comes gets sent around another ring of rude customer service peeps and I give up and lose my yearly plan that cost me a lot of money close to $300 if u want to read the other half read it on product review.com.au
Get Boost if you have a lot of time to waste
Terrible service. I spent 4 hours on the phone to 4 different ‘technicians’ none of which could resolve my problem. They said they would give me credit as some sort of compensation for my time then they reneged. Avoid this company.

How incredibly frustrating dealing with Aubrey Mae, Glizzly via your chat service, all I wanted to do was switch to eSIM, I followed your app advice and directions, doesn’t work, tried your troubleshooting advice, doesn’t work, reached out for help to get Aubrey who wasn’t solution focussed at all, absolute timewaster, Aubrey would ask the most non solution focussed questions to simply delay the conversation, bad service boost, cannot switch to eSIM, cannot get help via chat, Aubrey can’t even provide a team leader or team leader name to assist. Disaster!
79726561 reference, review the chat today 60+ minutes of mind numbing non solution focussed staff, glizzly and Aubrey had more than enough information to raise a ticket for help. The worst service received in a long time, compensation complaint now in places. Awaiting your response Boost.

The boost app is one of the worst apps out there frustrating. I've set up a account then I sign in to be told that I don't have a telsta account.If this is as good as it gets Telsta ill be not going to active my sim.

Horrendous reliability and customer…
Appalling reliability and customer service. My SIM card stopped working spontaneously and it took me a week of messaging and calling them to get a replacement sent out - they even told me to visit a Telstra store where I was quickly turned away 😂. When the replacement came, it didn’t work and I spent another 30 mins “chatting” (waiting endlessly) with a representative, only to find out I had to find a working phone and call them to activate my SIM. So frustrating

Terrible activation, poor service
Confused my Boost log in with another Telstra log in and redirected me between Telstra and Boost, wouldn't let me log in, activated numbers under multiple accounts meaning I couldn't access any, disparate activations which meant autopay was over different dates and coverage was no better than other Telstra resellers. Never again!

Replacing sim means losing service for a week
Their pricing is competitive, have international calls included, offer overseas roaming at a charge so they tick all boxes there. But be mindful if anything goes wrong, these guys don’t have a store you can visit. I have had a sim fault and lost service completely for almost a week. They won’t let you pickup new $2 replacement sim from local retailer to get your service back up and running quickly, they would instead mail you a replacement sim that could take a week to arrive. So that’s there for some quality service, company policy apparently. So be mindful of such situations when choosing these guys. If you can afford to be without a service for a week when something goes wrong, then these might be your ideal phone service providers.

Boost mobile customer service is veryy veryyy bad. I recharged my phone for a month and after few days I checked the app and it was showing 20 GB data left and in an hour i got the message that my data nearly finished and just all data gone in an hour. And I called customer service and they are just saying that it will be done in 3-5 business days but it’s nearly the end of the month of my recharge so then i have to do recharge again and the issue wan’t be solved in ages. Really bad customer service.

Claim of full Telstra network coverage in an absolute farce
I was previously an Optus customer and switched to Boost mobile one month ago, largely enticed by their claim of full Telstra network coverage as I do regular long distance driving and like to have Waze and Spotify coverage. I regularly drove Canberra to Adelaide with Optus, and had mobile coverage for about 90% of the trip (via the Ouyen route). Yesterday I drove to Adelaide for the first time with Boost, looking forward to seeing if the Telstra network would fill in most of the additional 10%. I was rather shocked to find that I had mobile coverage for LESS THAN 10% OFTHE TRIP!!!! There was absolutely NO coverage along the Hume Freeway, and coverage in only 3-4 towns between Wagga and Adelaide. Nothing on the highways in between, despite passing what I know to be regular Telstra towers along the way, and having always had Optus coverage in these sections. Boost’s claim of full Telstra coverage is an absolute farce, and I will be (a) switching back to Optus and (b) reporting them to the Telecommunications Ombudsman (with screen shots as evidence) today.

Feckless
Usually ok. Sometimes fast. Sometimes useless. Occasionally very nasty customer service. Can usually expect to activate a SIM from 5 to 90 minutes via their chat. Normally around 40-60 minutes. The automated activation hasn’t worked in months.
Once you get the nasty customer service they will block you from any further purchases.
Don’t say anything that may upset them. They are very spiteful. See above.

WORST Telecommunications company in AU easily the worst reception, you never get more than 2 bars and the so called "5G" is 4G you cant even get 5g speeds, so they're basically lying to your face.

By far THE worst app in the history of mobile service apps. As well as an poor client service. Every time I need to recharge it doesn't work, and EVERY TIME I have to hustle to get this sorted.
I honestly don't know why I stayed this long but this is it. I'm gone. GFY
