Customer service performance of a lifetime!
I am extremely disappointed with Boombah's customer service.
At 8:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 4, I called Boombah the moment customer service opened. I explained to the representative that this is my son's first year playing baseball, and he had just been selected to play on an All-Star Select Team in the World Series. Since this is our first season, we didn't have a high-quality bat bag with enough storage and organization, and we were excited to purchase one from Boombah.
However, I made it very clear that I needed the bag delivered no later than Sunday, June 7. I was fully prepared to pay extra for expedited shipping, two-day shipping, or any other faster delivery option available. I also explained that if Boombah could not guarantee delivery by then, I would need to purchase a bag elsewhere.
The representative sounded extremely helpful and spent time discussing shipping options, making it seem as though she was calculating the best and most cost-effective way to get the bag to me on time. She assured me multiple times that the bag would be delivered on Saturday, June 6. Based on that promise, I completed the purchase through her and paid the additional shipping costs.
Today, when I checked the tracking information, I discovered that the bag is not scheduled to arrive until Tuesday, June 9. By then, we will already be out of state for the tournament and without the bag we specifically purchased for this event.
I feel completely misled. The representative promised a delivery date that Boombah clearly could not meet, charged me for expedited service that I did not receive, and left my son without the equipment bag he was so excited to have for his World Series experience. The representative's performance was convincing enough to win an Oscar, but unfortunately, it was not honest.
Boombah should be ashamed of the way this situation was handled. This was a special milestone for my son, and your company's false promises turned what should have been an exciting experience into a frustrating and
