1 Star – Do NOT use Bond Auto Glass of Tampa Bay
Avoid Bond Auto Glass of Tampa Bay.
A man named Brandon approached us in a parking lot after noticing our windshield was broken and offered to handle the repair through our insurance. He asked for our insurance information and photos of the vehicle, then contacted the insurance company himself and added his company to the claim.
Two days later technicians showed up, but as soon as they arrived they admitted they did not know how to properly work on my type of car and were unable to complete the job correctly.
I immediately contacted Brandon and he told me it was “no problem” and that he would send someone else to finish the job properly. After that conversation, he completely disappeared. I called and messaged him multiple times and he ignored every attempt to reach him.
Now my insurance company says the repair must be completed at Porsche, and because the claim was already processed through Bond Auto Glass of Tampa Bay, I now have to pay $589 out of pocket to fix the mistake.
So to summarize:
• They started a job they were not qualified to perform
• They got paid through insurance
• They never finished the job
• Then they stopped responding completely
This is extremely unprofessional and irresponsible. My experience felt more like dealing with people who don’t know what they are doing rather than a legitimate company.
I strongly recommend avoiding Bond Auto Glass of Tampa Bay.
