I became a customer because even though I eat quite well I needed to eat healthier. Having a diagnosis with an immune dysfunction & suffering for so many years of course I'd try anything but more toxic medication. What I didn't expect was to be injured from a company that was supposed to care so much about their customers. My last order was their plain Muesli through Amazon & unfortunately the second bite was an excruciating hard one-spitting out the cereal along with a pebble. Immediately notified Amazon, who told me to get in touch with the company & since then felt deceived, taken advantage of & beyond disappointed. They wanted me to send the cereal, pebble, invoice for if/when I went to the dentist & any other invoices (including food) that I had spent because of this incident. My being as fair as possible, only sent the first emergency dentist visit (not the follow up) & very few foods for my now more specialized diet. Moving my jaw was extremely painful for about 3 weeks. When I first called the company, the woman I spoke with knew this I couldn't keep talking so got more information later & always kept them posted through e-mail. I was very honest, never asked for anything more than what I spent & actually even less-which came to little over $300 & they denied it. They said they wouldn't give me the money for my food, only my dentist visit...I didn't think that was fair. "Bob's" said they would give me the $155 in a gift card for their food, however I didn't spend $155 on their food before & shouldn't be required to-especially after putting me in this situation, how could I trust their food now? In good faith if they did care about the customer, why is this such an issue? I'm not asking for much or more, nor did I post what happened to me, I trusted them to do right by me & this is what I receive in return? I get taken advantage of as an honest, trusting, sincere struggling woman.
