With the current managing team I will not recommend this place. I had good interactions in the past , but if I had a chance to give -5 star, I would do that.
Sequence of events:
1. My Tesla showed reduced tyre pressure and I pulled in to your driveway at around 3:35 to 3:45 PM. I asked the manager on duty to see if SHE can help and she was non co-operative as she told me they were full with Job. I requested to see if I can get Air filled in , but she did not oblige so I drove out. I saw that my tyre pressure was down to 23 PSI so I pulled over in Rimmington Street.
2. On checking I found that the Valve had come off and hence the rapid air leak and there was flat tyre.
3. I called few mobile flat tyre service but they did not had Spare Tyre in stock which was Michelin 235 R18 Pilot Sport 4.
4.I walked to your office at around 4:30 to check if you had tyre in stock , another female employee was getting ready to sweep dust off the floor and when I walked in she told me that "We are closed". I questioned that and said I just have a Tyre availability enquiry and she said they do not have without checking the system.
5 In the meanwhile the first female whom I spoke to was behind the desk and I said this is not the customer service one would expect and store is not closed and I was told store is closed and that type of tyre not in stock. I started to scan the Google Reveiw Barcode and she realised and then started paying attention to me.There was not a single customer at that time but she was updating data in system I guess.
6 I told her that if she would have allowed me to check in the first instance when I drove in I would not have to go through the stress.
7 She offered to walk to the car spot where I had parked when I started questioning their attitude.
8 I told her I have photo and on seeing the photo she said the valve cannot be replaced and I need to buy new Tyre and Tyre was in Stock which she reserved for me. So again first I was told No stock and then magically 2 Nos came in Stock.
9 Only option I had was to Tow the vehicle and pay around 220 AUD to Tow to your place.
10. She agreed that later in the day once shop is closed I can tow the Tesla and park it at your place and I accepted the responsibility if there was a damage overnight.
11. Here the negative 5 star experience ends with Bob Jane and their 2 female staff, but more surprise was in store for me.
12 I made a few more phone calls to other Mobile tyre repairers as well as Tesla roadside and guys who give LOANER tyre till it is fixed. They saw the photo which I sent and said maybe the Valve is repairable.
13 I left the vehicle there and called the mobile repairer guy but they were closed at around 6 PM and no response.
14. I got hold of another Mobile Tyre repairer next day and he came and fixed it for me with a service FEE of 150 AUD.
Thanks to Bob Jane's Artarmon team for this experience and I will never ever buy anything from this place at Artarmon.
