Superb 2 bedroom pet friendly house in idyllic town of titchfield super clean great hosts all local amenities within walking distance historic church very welcoming and great walks to the beach with our dog cannot fault the hosts or the property we stayed at total of 79 days and to our suprise cleaners came every 2 weeks leaving the house refreshed everytime

Lovely accommodation. Super clean. One issue was dealt with promptly and politely and very reassuringly. Questions were answered quickly. The bed was super comfortable and the fan on the bedrooms was a bonus and necessity, as the heat was intense. Very comfortable stay with all facilities you'd need. Except a corkscrew. There was no corkscrew. 😂.

We stayed at the Stunning Design 3-Bedroom Townhouse Retreat in Southsea. Everything was perfect, communication great, the house was beautifully decorated, very clean and extremely comfortable, it was perfect for visiting our family who lived 3 streets away. Had such a lovely time and will be returning soon.

Lovely stay in Southampton
We had a great stay at the Blue Puffin Apartment in Southampton. The location was excellent and the apartment was well-equipped with everything we needed to feel comfortable. The Blue Puffin team provided clear instructions and were professional and responsive throughout. Although the check-in and check-out were fully self-service, everything went smoothly and hassle-free.
I’m only giving four stars because the oven was quite dirty, which made it difficult to use — I had hoped to bake some nuggets for the kids but ended up skipping it. That said, it was a minor issue that didn’t affect the overall comfort of our stay. Would definitely recommend and stay again!

We appreciate your feedback regarding the oven, and we’re genuinely sorry to hear it wasn’t up to your expectations. We’d like to clarify that this concern wasn’t raised during your stay. After reviewing both the pre-arrival and post-departure checks from our cleaning team, there were no signs of the oven being dirty, and no previous guests had reported any issues. That said, we completely understand that cleanliness expectations can vary, and if it didn’t meet yours, we do wish you had let us know at the time.
As we mentioned in our message following your first night, we always encourage guests to let us know immediately if anything needs attention, whether it’s a cleaning concern or a maintenance issue. We're always happy to assist and would have sent someone over promptly to address it for you, so you could fully enjoy your stay without the inconvenience.
We kindly asked that any concerns be sent to us directly, ideally with a photo or short video via WhatsApp. This really helps us better understand the situation and respond quickly. As we didn’t hear from you during your stay, we assumed everything was great.

L'appartamento è accogliente e fornito di ogni comodità. Ha una posizione ottima tra il centro città ed il campus universitario. La fermata del bus è appena fuori all'appartamento. Le condizioni di pulizia sono ottime e la cucina ha tutto l'occorrente per servirsi da soli per colazioni, pranzi e cene. Le forniture aono nuove e ben tenute. Het is een erg mooi appartement
Het is een erg mooi appartement, voorzien van alle gemakken. Vanuit de voorzijdd een fantastisch uitzicht op de zee. Na 5 minuten lopen ben je in de winkelstraat. Iets verderop kun je op de bus stappen. Als je iets wilt weten kun je bellen of mailen. Je wordt snel geholpen. Ik heb niets negatiefs kunnen ontdekken. Het is zeer de moeite waard.

No compassion
Had booked a weekend away with friends, sadly had an immediate family bereavement on the first day of the stay so was unable to attend.
Blue Puffin have said they will not process any refund.
Very disappointing during a very sad time.
Would've thought better of a business like this.
Would not recommend.

Hi Emma, firstly, please allow us to extend again our heartfelt condolences to you and your family during this incredibly difficult time. We truly sympathise with your situation and are very sorry to hear about your loss.
However, we would like to clarify that your booking was made through Booking.com, and as such, it falls under their cancellation and refund policies. As a property management company, we are required to follow the terms set out by the platform through which the reservation was made.
While we completely understand how disappointing this experience has been for you, we do feel it is somewhat unfair for us to receive a 1-star public review based on a situation that was out of our control and governed by third-party booking terms.
We always aim to approach sensitive matters with empathy and professionalism, and we hope you understand that this was not a reflection of our willingness to help, but rather the limitations of the booking system used.
Again, we are truly sorry for your loss and send our warmest wishes to you and your loved ones during this time.
Disappointing experience
The air b&b looked amazing in the pictures but it wasn’t cleaned properly. The bedding was dusty I wasn’t able to sleep all night. Overall the service wasn’t the best a few things went wrong including the wrong code for the key box which wasted a lot of time. It was very disappointing as I expected a lot more especially with the cleanliness of the place.

However, we would like to clarify that during your stay, we reached out to ask how your first night went and did not receive any response, we assumed everything's well, we had no way of knowing there was a problem, and therefore no opportunity to assist or rectify anything for you whilst you were still staying at the property. When there were issues raised this morning before checking out, we also kindly requested photos or proof regarding the issues you mentioned today but unfortunately, nothing was provided.
As outlined in our communication, we always encourage guests to reach out immediately if they notice anything that needs attention, whether it’s a maintenance issue or a cleaning concern. We even provide a direct WhatsApp number for quick and easy communication and ask guests to send a photo or short video so we can understand and resolve any concerns straightaway.
We feel it is important to mention that it is a little unfair to leave a review like this when we were not given any opportunity to address or improve the situation for you at the time. Guest satisfaction is our top priority, and we would have been more than happy to send someone over immediately had we been made aware.
Great cottage
Cottage was immaculately clean with comfortable beds. Location of our cottage was great with easy access to shops and the historic dockyards.
