Awful company …

Awful company that I’m sure brings the reputation of Bluebird care as a whole. The Wolverhampton franchise is run by Support for Life who are incompetent and staff are poorly trained and I’ve suffered from stress and anxiety as a result of my lack of care and aggressive behaviour of staff and Selina. Avoid!!

Avoid- toxic

This is the most toxic workplace I have ever worked in. One of the directors has done everything she can to discredit me or get me to quit. Selina is a bully. The other director is great, but whilst Selina is there I do not recommend this company.
If you value your sanity work elsewhere. I wish I had read the reviews before joining. Whilst there are positive reviews these do not reflect my experience or that of several other people who Selina has forced out of their roles. I would also call into question the validity of some of these 5 star reviews which have been left by people who didn't receive care from them and didn't work for the company.
For Bluebird head office- you will continue to lose good employees unless you intervene.

Great team of people, capable and compassionate

My mum started with Bluebird with four visits a day after falling down at home. All the carers were capable, professional, patient and kind. As mum became more confused we used Bluebird for live-in care so she could stay at home. The management team worked hard to find carers who could deliver the care mum needed to keep her safe while giving her as much independence as possible. I found everyone I dealt with on the phone to be very helpful and willing to address my concerns.

Outstanding Care

I would like to express my sincere gratitude to everyone at Bluebird Care for the exceptional support and service they have provided in caring for my mother. From the very beginning, the entire experience has been nothing short of outstanding, and I feel compelled to share how pleased and reassured I’ve been throughout this journey.

The carers who visited my mother were truly wonderful – consistently kind, patient, respectful, and professional. They took the time to get to know her as an individual, not just as someone needing care. Their genuine compassion and attentiveness were incredibly comforting, not only to her but to our entire family. They ensured she felt safe, listened to, and valued, which made a real difference to her quality of life. It was clear that they weren’t just doing a job – they genuinely cared.

In addition to the carers, I must also highlight how fantastic the office staff have been. Whether I had questions about scheduling, changes in care needs, or just needed a bit of reassurance, they were always friendly, approachable, and quick to respond. Communication was seamless and professional, and I always felt like I was being listened to and supported. They made sure everything ran smoothly and that the care package adapted as my mother’s needs evolved.

Bluebird Care have shown time and again that they put dignity, respect, and compassion at the heart of what they do. I cannot thank them enough for the difference they’ve made to my mother’s life – and mine. It is rare to find such a well-run, caring, and responsive service, and I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for outstanding home care support for a loved one.

Bluebird care

We have been with Bluebird care for quite some time now and find that their services are excellent. My son is autistic and has other health issues going on,and he has benefited brilliantly from them coming in on a Saturday. He’s especially connected with James the care manger.

Great place to work with a supportive team

Great place to work with a supportive team, I’ve been working at Bluebird care Wolverhampton for some time now, and it’s been a truly rewarding experience. The management genuinely cares about both staff and clients specially James one of the best and understanding Manager so friendly and approachable always smiling He is a good example of a Good Carer, and there’s a real sense of teamwork. Training is Given at all times, and they always encourage us to grow and improve.I still have to find out more about the company as I continue to work with them but so far am happy with how they been treating me like am part of the team,It’s fulfilling to know we make a real difference in people’s lives every day.

Could not ask for a better service

Our grandson, who has disabilities including autism, became extremely dysregulated putting the whole family in crisis. James Jersey, the manager at Bluebird, was contacted by social services and he managed to get a care package put together that included 2 carers to be at our home 24 hours per day. This was arranged literally in one morning. Since then we have received an excellent service from both James, Selina and all the carers. They always arrive on time, are professional and highly trained. Without their service we would not have been able to care for our grandson in our home. A big thanks to all the team.

Amazing care provider

Blue bird management and care staff Wolverhampton branch as been very good for us emergency package for my son staff are very highly trained and James the manager as kept in touch with us and advocating for son when needed and came out to spend time with my son

The management team is incredibly supportive and responsive to staff needs. always feel valued and appreciated by my supervisors, provides excellent training and resources to help us succeed,office staff are always helpful and understanding, making a real difference, I've been able to advance my career within the company, which is fantastic.

I am a carer worker who has worked in bluebird in Wolverhampton for a while, I love working as a carer support worker fantastic support from the office team vary supportive and understanding. I really enjoy working for this company. I would recommend anyone to join these company or receive any kind of support.

Rogue employer, toxic and manipulative

Rogue employer, it’s a no for me and I will advise you all to run. Very toxic and demoralizing company. They don’t care about their employees one bit, Selina is full of manipulation, Cunning and extremely disrespectful. This company is a true definition of absolute power corrupt, dirty and shady. She lacks accountability, empathy, run from them!!!! She finds joy making peoples life miserable, unhappy, uncomfortable . And yeah… She lies aaaaalot and a narcissist. Dirty pig.

Bad Employers

I have never worked for an unprofessional company such as these. I asked for one call to be taken off me as it was the only call I had got. The director finished me there and then. No process was followed, she told me not to phone them for anything and then hung up on me

Work experience

I worked for this company for 1 month they are a shocking employer, yes very polite and will support you for the first couple of weeks then boom they treat you like something you’ve trod in and work you to the bone. If you say you can’t do that shift they strip you of your work for that week. They are very unprofessional, I had a week off sick due to collapsing and now I’ve received my p45 without any discussion.
Within the month of working here I have put over £200 in my tank and put 1300 mile on the clock as the mileage between the calls are horrendous. They make sure you have at least an hour between your calls so they don’t have to pay you the mileage. The mileage you do actually get is nowhere near the amount you put in your tank.

I would not recommend this company to work for as it has made 5 carers quite poorly with stress, mental health and physical.

Wolverhampton branch is a no no from me
