Rented a SYM Jet X with BlitzRent last August during my vacation, and everything went really well.

Booking online was straightforward with no surprises, and picking up the scooter was quick. Huge shoutout to Bráulio as well, super helpful and easy to deal with from start to finish.

The scooter itself handled the steep, winding roads of Madeira Island effortlessly. It was in great condition, ran smoothly, and made exploring all the viewpoints and spots so much fun. Dropping it back off at the end of the trip was just as easy.

Solid service and a great way to get around. Would definitely rent from them again.

Definitely the best car rental company we have ever used in 33 years of travelling around the world, and without a doubt one of the highlights of our third visit to Madeira!

From the moment we arrived until we returned the car, everything was perfect. They were already waiting for us when we arrived, and communication was excellent from start to finish.

Then, at the end of our car rental, we discovered that BlitzRent also rents motorcycles. We ended up renting a Yamaha Ténéré as well, and had two absolutely brilliant days exploring both the south and north coasts of Madeira.

Without a doubt, renting both the car and the motorcycle became two of the highlights of our trip.

Expérience désastreuse, à fuir absolument
Nous étions en avance à l'aéroport, et jusque-là tout allait bien : le loueur nous attendait déjà. Mais les problèmes ont vite commencé.
Dès le briefing, on nous informe qu'il faut s'arrêter toutes les 15 minutes à cause des montées et descentes de Madère, qui feraient lâcher les freins. Les casques fournis, cabossés et rayés, n'inspiraient aucune confiance en cas de chute.
200 mètres après avoir quitté l'aéroport, à 50 km/h, le support de téléphone a lâché : mon téléphone s'est envolé et brisé en mille morceaux sur la route.
Retour immédiat à l'agence, où les employés, débordés par d'autres accidents liés aux freins défaillants, ont fini par admettre que le support était défectueux. Mais incapables de gérer la situation, ils ont appelé le patron — qui nous a pris de haut, a rejeté la faute sur la coque du téléphone, puis s'est empressé de jeter le support à la poubelle pour faire disparaître toute preuve.
Aucun professionnalisme, aucune compassion, aucune volonté de reconnaître leurs torts.
Résultat : du matériel dangereux, une gestion malhonnête des incidents, et un service client à l'opposé de ce qu'on est en droit d'attendre. Ne prenez pas le risque.
