The blinds do not meet together, there is a space in the middle which cuts into our privacy.

This was a motorized blind. Delivery of initial order and repair of same was ahead of schedule. I live about 1 hr from the store and I'm a DYIer. To save money I opted to install it myself (about $200). I've handled much more difficult projects so this was a no brainer. Received blind but remote would not work. Contacted store and adviser consulted with an installer. Remote needs to be paired with blind. Instruction provided did not state anything about pairing or did it state how. So I obtained proper instructions from the internet. Paired easily. However, blind did not raise all the way on the right side. Turns out there was a broken string on the right side. Returned blind for repair and talked to adviser about providing proper instructions for DYIers. Guess what - blind was returned and remote had to be paired again. The blind is great, service is great however installation instructions are inadequate. Another option is remote should be paired at store/factory as are all electronic equipment I've ever bought. We'll have to wait and see if they take corrective action to resolve this issue.

It's been 5 months and I still have not received the wand I ordered. I'm still waiting. I only gave a one star because it wouldn't allow me to leave zero stars.

Can't beat the service and their warrantee.

Blinds are good quality, but we received brackets on more than one blind that were too small and interfered with the roller. The valences were also a little too short on some windows, despite providing exact measures (to 1/16in).

All of our measurements for the depth of the windows were 4in, but received 2 different sized brackets (even on adjacent windows with the exact same measurements). We did not contact the store manager as we did not want to delay our homes privacy any longer. We fixed the issue by cutting the valence holding off (small end pieces) to allow the blinds to roll more smoothly. Prior to cutting it, the valences would also not clip in to the smaller brackets and as mentioned would rub against the blinds.

Expletive deleted. Their "Winning Team" poster belies the incompetence I had to deal with from staff and management.
Manufacturig errors, garbled voice mails, unreturned phone calls and three trips to the store is the best I can do without resorting to stronger language.
It will be a verrrrry long time before I ever consider BoC as a supplierin the future.

Merivale Rd., Ottawa. I have been graciously assisted by Andrew over the years at that location. Andrew is not only professional and very knowledgeable of the products, he is patient (I am quite undecisive), he took his time in explaining the different options, wasn't in a rush "to get a sale in". I am running out of windows in my home to be covered, also brought my daughter to get coverings for her residence. I can't wait to go back to have Andrew assist me with my new ideas! Definitely two thumbs up to him!!

Good customer service, and fast delivery.

I chose Roman shades for a bedroom. The staff was very helpful in assisting me with my fabric choice and style. The installation was quick and their attention to detail was very reassuring. I would not hesitate to recommend the Merivale location in Ottawa.

We returned to Blinds to Go because we are very happy with the product and service for blinds on our front living room window. We were impressed when the staff checked the computer for our last order for details about measurements and choice we made at that time. The sales associate was very helpful to show us new products so that our decision was based on familiar and new products. As well, the associate responded to our concerns about the arrival time for installation. The installer acted immediately, arrived at our home, and completed the service. We are completely happy with the lighting and privacy of our new blinds in our TV room. Thanks to Blinds to Go.

The only reason that we gave 3 stars instead of none is because our installer was excellent. Very efficient, knowledgeable and courteous. Trying to get our order delivered was definitely no stars. I started calling the store on the date we were told shutters would be delivered (two months after order date), and after so many calls to them and talking with different people each time, we pretty much gave up. One month after our initial “delivery” date is when we had shutters installed. Terrible run around and different stories each time.

The blinds and drapes are fine, but for products manufactured in Montreal, the the delays in delivering and installing them was ridiculous. They were ordered the end of July and the installation was not completed until Dec 3rd. Initially the drapes were on backorder, so the blinds only were installed the week before Thanksgiving. One of the panels for the patio door had been cut to an incorrect size. This meant that the installer had to come back. This time he also had the drapes, but was missing some hardware so was only able to hang 2 of 4 panels. It was another 6 weeks before he came back to finish the installation of the missing bracket. Totally unacceptable. I would not recommend this company.

Very satisfied with this store; I do recommend it. All people we interacted with were competent and very kind. From the sales person, to the technician who came to check the measurements, to the installation technician. Excellent product. We are very happy.
