Terrible after sale service
Terrible after sale service. Contacted Ian twice about a fault with the scope I got from them and I’ve not had any response from him or the company. Seems they are fast to take your money but don’t give a crap about the people that pay there wages (us customers)
Legal advise is now being taking against them.
Update. 14/03/2026
Received a reply but seller is fogging me off to the manufacturer when it’s the seller responsible within 30 days. As I’ve only had this scope 3 weeks Uk law states customer rights act 2015 that we have 30 days to return and refund fully if a product has a manufacturing fault which this does. Being passed off to the manufacturer when it’s the sellers responsibility if not professional.
Can’t recommend this company if they don’t follow the Uk law.
Legal action started.

We did respond to your enquiry and advised you to contact DNT support directly, who handle technical faults and warranty issues for this product. As the manufacturer, DNT Optics must be notified of any suspected fault before a warranty issue can be assessed or resolved, and their technical team are best placed to diagnose the issue quickly.
As a specialist retailer rather than a large marketplace like Amazon, we receive a significant number of enquiries alongside order fulfilment and customer support. While we aim to respond as quickly as possible, a response time of around 1–2 working days is not unreasonable.
Directing customers to the manufacturer’s technical support is standard practice with many specialist optics products, as they can often diagnose or resolve issues far faster than a retailer without the product being returned unnecessarily.
If further assistance is required after contacting DNT support, we will of course assist in facilitating the process.

I contacted blackwoods twice regarding a return request, once on there online contact page and once on there online messaging and both times no one contacted me quick to make a sale not so quick to discuss a return, I'll now contact my card company and request a charge back. Terrible company will not use again

Good customer service when needed
There was a problem with part of the order not being dispatched. However this was quickly deal with over the websites chat facility without problem. An honest and timely response from the owner with an apology followed by good updates.
I can recommend to others and will by from Blackwood Outdoors again.
