Great company for buying domain names and hosting. Discounted prices on new domains and great value in years 2, 3, and beyond. Tech support guys are always online if you have an issue and are quick to get back to you if they have to investigate further with engineering. Been using them for about 5 years now and no complaints.

Speedy setup of Cloud server. The control panel is well laid out, easy to understand and backed by excellent support.

You don't go to Blacknight because they're cheapest (although they often are).
You go to Blacknight because you can get a competent person at the other end of the line to sort things out. And in my case, a technician on site.
Oh - and I love the Fritzbox and it's built in DECT station - two less devices to worry about!

When you are trying to get things done, it is nice to have a human on hand to fix it for you. Plain English support. In addition to great local tech support, domain price offers are reasonable. They have a sensible attitude to pricing and implementation of https certificates. Hosting.? Easy to buy, helped to implement by support, excellent. Also, they seem close to the ie domain registry people which helps. Moving from one black night account holder to another is made easy.

We (Irish 2nd level school) have been with Blacknight for several years. Things have gone wrong with the website on 2 occasions, a bad script uploaded, an error in changing a setting type of thing.

It's not that Blacknight very quickly found and fixed them. That you would expect from a good host.

It's 5 stars for the way they went about it, for the way we were looked after, and how we felt looked after. That it was important to them to look after us and get it sorted for us.
Most of all it's for their people at the other end of the phone who dealt with us. In the words of a totally unrelated product "Priceless"

I found Blacknight to be easy to deal with and very helpful. I purchased a domain and hosting from the company. I needed help from support at the start as there was an issue setting up my account so I could access same. Support looked at the problem and rang me back 1 hour later and assisted me in sorting the issue out.
