Further to my previous negative review: nothing changes other than the fact that after numerous, and perhaps unnecessary, exchanges of emails with some 'AI representative' offering various levels of cash settlements, Birchbourne has now fully refunded my purchase costs and the sandals have been donated to a local charity shop so some good has come out of all this.

I would encourage anyone experiencing similar problems to persevere - they will capitulate in the end....
