Owner got in touch after some unanswered emails and assured me delivery was in motion and gave DPD tracking number. Found delivery completed next day. Fast response from someone who evidently cares about their customers and their business. I will recommend them to anyone.

My 80 year old mother in law attempted a purchase which never arrived. Several attempts were made to contact the business which were ignored, at which point I, as a previous customer, got involved. After claiming that contact was always responded to, promises were made to rectify the problem. That's when they went silent on me, never to be heard from again. My mother in law had to approach her bank for a refund. Absolutely disgusting behaviour and as a South African, I'm totally embarrassed at the moral bankruptcy they've displayed.

Edit in response to your response: there was no agreement. In fact, I specifically said do not send the replacement as a bank refund took place and she went elsewhere.

I HAD to get involved as you ignored her enquiries. It is only since your actions were made public that you could suddenly see the prior attempts to contact you.

For you to attempt to try to take the moral high ground here is bewildering. You took her money, didn't supply what she paid for, then went silent.

If you had dealt with it professionally, you may have found more understanding, but YOU chose to ignore, YOU chose to send the goods after I'd requested you didn't, YOU chose not to have your goods back after I offered to send them back, YOU chose to call me toxic because I dared to not just go away.

Amazing south african products with a wide range to choose from , lovely staff and would definitely recommend to anyone interested in south african snacks , food , drinks , etc.

Have visited the shop in Cobham several times. Mark and his team are friendly and knowledgeable about the products. The quality is good and has such a variety of SA goods to buy. Tasty biltong in so many different flavours and other meats as well as a range of snacks etc.

Just been back in SA for a month and have been testing Biltong from Pretoria to PE to Cape Town , but I can honestly say that Billytong Biltong is my favorite! Billytong has so many different flavours to choose from, and 4 different fat levels from wet&fatty to extra dry and snapsticks. (And - the British beef that is used to make Billytong Biltong is giving SA beef some seriously strong competition! 😳)

Billytong never disappoints. Mark and his team Mich, Zara and the gang are always helpful and ready to ensure their customers get their SA treats. Mark once opened especially early to ensure I could buy some SA goodies needed at an 8am appointment far away. That is SERVICE and it was with a smile!!

Wow, the Biltong I’ve just received from these guys is next level. The flavour and juiciness is like nothing I’ve tasted. I don’t think you can really say you have had proper biltong until you try these guys. I had wet and fatty in peri peri, chilli and the garlic. Also outstanding customer service. Very happy customer.
