I wish I never signed a contract with…

I wish I never signed a contract with this company.
I KEEP TELLING ALL OF OF THEM THAT LUCAS MISREPRESENTED HIMSELF AND THE PAPERWORK I SIGNED. HE TOLD ME IF HE COULDN'T GET THE AMOUNT I WANT THEN THE CONTRACT WOULD BE NULL AND VOID. I WOULD BE LETTING THEM STEAL MY HOUSE FOR THAT AMOUNT THAT THEY WANT TO PAY.

I WILL NOT BE SIGNING ANYMORE DOCUMENTS FOR THEM. I WAS TRICKED THE FIRST TIME AND I WILL NOT MAKE THAT MISTAKE AGAIN. LUCAS ALREADY TRIED TO BRIBE ME BY OFFING TO GIVE ME A FEW THOUSAND DOLLARS UPFRONT. I KEEP TELLING THEM i AM NOT SELLING MY HOUSE SO STOP HASSLING AND HARASSING ME.
There company is trying to take advantage of people like me. He did not go over any part of the contract with me at all. He did not explain anything to me. He said if I did not agree with the amount the contract would be null and void. I do not even have a copy of what I signed. All you did is say sign and initial. I had no clue that I was signing a binding contract to just give my home away. Shame on them, all they want to do is rip people off. Tell everyone that your company is just trying to rip-off unsuspecting people like me.

Now they are going to try and strong arm me or scare me into letting you steal my house with something else he didn't tell me about in this supposed contract WOW:

You impede access which is in breach of the contract you signed. We allocate those thousands of dollars to our lawyer. It states in the contact, that again you signed, that you are responsible for our legal costs.

He never went over any part of that contact, not even one paragraph. Your website says NO RISK OR HASSLE...WELL THAT IS A BIG LIE....BECAUSE YOU ARE PUTTING ME AT RISK AND ALSO HASSLING/HARASSING ME.
I definitely learned a valuable lesson from you and that is you can't trust anyone. YOU TRICKED ME JUST TO MAKE MONEY ON MY HOUSE.

If there are any themes resounding from our online reviews, it's that our customers love us for our fair and transparent pricing, our smooth and easy process, and our professionalism in how we communicate with our customers. It is clear that your review intends to undermine our business and brand reputation as it suggests that we are a company that is built on deceptive representation and a lack of transparency, coercive and unethical sales tactics, and legal threats and intimidation; this couldn’t be further from the truth. We have made many failed attempts to reach you in order to come to a peaceful and reasonable resolution, and you have interpreted this as harrassment. Instead of talking through these matters over the phone with you, we feel the need to not only point out the fallacies in the specific statements and claims in your review but also request that you and/or TrustPilot remove this baseless and intentionally harmful review. While we are truly sorry for your frustration, and believe you’re genuinely upset, we do have to require some accountability on your part though, as the reasons you’re upset are based on elements of your story that you have fabricated as an attempt to smear our company.

First, we want to address your claims that we were deceptive and intentionally lacked transparency in our process; this is not true. When you met with Lucas, you filled out and executed a full purchase contract, based on the terms you negotiated and agreed to. This document is not only very clearly a contract, but you were happy with the terms at the time you signed it. You do in fact have a copy of the contract you signed, and the reason you’re upset is that you wanted to change your mind and sell to someone else after signing the contract, or require that we increase our already agreed upon price upward in the amount of $40,000. You’ve stated both of these things in writing to us in an effort to force a result that you have no right to demand. Even if you truly intended to stay in the house and not sell at all (which we know is not the case from the contradicting stories and demands you’ve tried to corner us into), you have a legal obligation to proceed with the sale and we expect you to follow through on that, just as you would expect us to.

Second, we want to address your claims that we use coercive and unethical sales tactics. We do not force any of our customers to sign our contracts. Your agreement to sell to us was 100% voluntary and the contract spelled everything out very clearly. You were able to take all the time you needed to read through it and ask questions.

Lastly, we want to address your claims that we are employing legal threats and intimidation. Simply stated, this is how you are perceiving us simply executing on the contract that you signed when we met with you.
We consider this review as nothing more than a further attempt to leverage an increased purchase price/allow you to sell to someone else and breach your contract without any consequences, which is not a proper or fair use of this platform. While we are truly saddened to have to be discussing things in this manner, we simply cannot allow you to publicly slander not only our business, but our agent’s integrity, without refuting what are frankly untrue and unmerited claims. We remain committed to seeing the transaction through and we are ready to speak with you if and when you’re willing to.

Great company to do business with

The representative I met with didn't pressure me at all. He walked me through the steps and answered all my questions. No hassle. Closing was quick and very easy. I had a really good experience with them and would recommend 100%.

Highly recommend Big State Home Buyers

I was a bit of a skeptic when I first started looking to sell my house. I didn’t have the time to use a realtor nor did I want to hassle with all the closing costs. The process with Big State Home Buyers was very easy from beginning to end. Brandon Mackey was my contact person and he was extremely helpful. I could reach out to him whenever I had questions. Everyone involved with Big State was very friendly and trustworthy throughout the entire process from the first call to set up the first appointment to look at the house, to the final closing date. They gave me a very fair price for my home without charging me any closing cost or fees. I highly recommend using Big State Home Buyers!

Positive Home Selling Experience

From the start I felt very comfortable with the Company. We were told what would happen, what to expect and given a price on our home that we were very pleased with. We were given ample time for every showing of the home by the realtor and our home sold in the timeframe the Company had hoped for. I would definitely recommend this Company to anyone looking to sell their home.

Purchased my run down rental property

Very professional and gave a fair price for the condition of the property. Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Closing was quick and easy. Only issue was that the utilities were not transferred at closing but this was taken care of as soon as the error was discovered.

After mom passed we weren’t sure how to…

After mom passed we weren’t sure how to handle the sale of her home. It needed lots of work & probate would have taken forever!! With all sibling on board- Justin & his team made the process a blessing! Closed in 3 weeks! They made a sad situation a wonderful experience!! Was so thankful I ran across thier name!! Highly recommend!!!

Big State was responsive throughout the entire process. They maintained contact and communicated promptly and answered requests or questions in a very timely manner. I have to say this was one of the…

I have to say this was one of the easiest and stress free ways I was able to sell my home. I had called the office for some information and I had their agent at my home the next day and he provided an offer and set up two inspections on the same day and he took care of every detail and kept me in the loop at all times and the closing was set for the day I picked and funded the same day. I honestly kept telling myself that this was too easy, but in fact it spot on perfect with no issues and I couldn’t have been any happier with the outcome. For the fact of bypassing a realtor, all the showings and hassles that arise during a sale and closing and all the costs that are factored in, I honestly came out ahead with the profit and not having the stress was priceless. I cannot recommend Big State Homebuyers enough, they were fabulous!
