We’re a family business. It started with just the two of us; husband and wife duo, Gareth and Claire Allen. We’re developing a team of lovely like-minded people around us as we grow, who will make sure we never lose that family business feel. A second wonderful stay at Tall Trees
A second wonderful stay at Tall Trees. A family group with ages from 5 months upwards, everyone had a great time. The pool and football pitch a big hit. The house and garden are both beautiful and comfortable. We hope to be back for a 3rd visit

White Gable House Exeter
White Gable House was amazing. My large family and I stayed for a week to celebrate my 50th birthday and the location was perfect. With rooms to accommodate 16 people we all had plenty of space to spread out and the Swimming pool, hot tub, games room and cinema room were a massive hit for us all, no one wanted to come home

Great house, accommodated the 25 of us (mixed age) with ease, wonderful location; efficient and friendly communication with owners and staff. All round, the Easter Weekend was a big success.

The house was amazing, the condition of it, the facilities, location, everything. The booking process was simple and all my questions answered in an effective and efficient manner. Nothing was too much trouble. Really appreciated all of the recommendations too for suppliers - we had a great experience all round.

Olive House is excellent
The service, as always, was seamless in organising the house. And Olive House in an excellent house. Private, peaceful and beautifully maintained. All of the 10 bedrooms were fantastic and extremely comfortable. The facilities are wonderful - swimming pool, tennis, sauna, jacuzzi, pool table etc, and a superb BBQ area great for entertaining. Would definitely return.

Stunning property location and facilities
We have just returned from a very special break at this fantastic country home - a party of 13, 6 adults and 7 children from 2 to 14. The apple cabin has everything anyone could wish for, an adjacent building containing a spacious swimming pool, jacuzzi, table tennis and numerous other games. In the main living quarters, 5 large bedrooms, each having their own en-suites.
An enormous table seating the entire party and a fantastic log burner make the main focus of the living area. There is also a cinema/tv room should others prefer that option.
The outside seating area has views of rolling countryside.
Kitchen is fully equipped to satisfy the needs of any occasion.
This was a 60th birthday surprise and the apple cabin gave us a memory we will never forget. Thank you to all those involved.

The amazing Courtyard Granary
We have just returned from a fabulous stay at Courtyard Granary. As a family group of ten, age range 70 plus down to 3 years, the house was perfect, in our opinion, nothing could be improved. It was just as pictured, spotlessly clean, fully fitted with everything you could need and all of high quality. The games room, hot tubs and superb outdoor space were wonderful, beds were really comfortable and the kitchen well equipped. Different sets of outside tables and chairs were positioned to catch the sun with the larger one next to the bbq for evening dining.
Everything about the house felt well considered and we cannot wait to return; no-one wanted to go home!
The communication with Big House Experience from booking through to arrival was also very professional.
We would award six stars if that was an option.

Simply the best
We stayed at The Hideaway, which was the most beautiful house and in the perfect location. It fit all 20 of us without ever feeling like we were cramped in. We had the best weekend and I really feel like it was the house that made it for us!
I found the booking process really easy and the team responded to emails very quickly. Everyone came across as friendly and helpful and will definitely be my first choice if I need a big house again!

Such a lovely house
Everything we needed was there, there were little additional touches, Easter egg baskets and decorations all lovely. Simon was extremely helpful explaining everything when we arrived. The grounds are amazing, plenty of space to play or just sit and enjoy.

60th birthday celebration
Celebrated a 60th birthday. Great place to stay old quirky but modern also. Fantastic facilities throughout. Lovely and quiet location. Loved the hot tubs.
The garden is absolutely fantastic. We spent 5 days here as family and friends get together total of 13 adults and two small children and the rooms still never seemed full. Certainly a treasure to see.

The Longhouse Experience
Very warm welcome from Amelia on arrival-lovely spacious house. The en-suite bathrooms are a great bonus-well equipped kitchen which made our self catering very easy for 14 people! Family enjoyed jacuzzi and the bar area was a great success. So despite poor weather we were able to enjoy a great family holiday!
