⭐ **1 STAR – A COMPLETE REFUND NIGHTMARE. THINK TWICE BEFORE ORDERING FROM BIG DEALS.**

I have never experienced such a frustrating and exhausting process just to get **my own money back** from an online retailer.

I placed **TWO orders with Big Deals**, and both resulted in major problems.

The first was a children’s scooter advertised as a **Ferrari product**. What I received was not the product represented in the listing, and the scooter could not even be properly unfolded and used. The replacement offered was also not the product I had ordered, so I rejected it and requested a refund.

The second order was for a **Panasonic SR-WA22T rice cooker**, but I received a completely different model, **BDLSRWA18TJ**, which was a different product with different specifications and a lower listed price. Again, I requested a refund.

Both products were returned **unused and in accordance with Big Deals' return instructions**.

You would think that would be the end of the matter.

It wasn't.

**Getting my refund became an absolute nightmare.**

I had to make an outrageous number of calls and repeatedly chase customer service for money that rightfully belonged to me. I was repeatedly given assurances that the refund was being processed and would be completed, only for the story to change later.

Most recently, I was told that the refund had supposedly been issued to **KOKO**. However, when I contacted KOKO, I was told that the merchant had **not initiated the refund**.

So who exactly is telling the truth?

This level of contradictory communication is completely unacceptable.

I am the customer. I returned the products. I followed the required process. **Why should I have to repeatedly call, chase, explain and argue just to recover my own money?**

The amount of time and energy I have had to waste on this is absolutely disgusting.

Errors in fulfilling an order can happen. But what matters is how a company handles the mistake. In my experience, Big Deals turned a straightforward return and refund into an unnecessarily stressful ordeal.

**Selling or supplying the wrong product is one problem. Making the customer fight to get their money back afterwards is an entirely different level of poor customer service.**

I expected a professional online retailer. Instead, I experienced repeated delays, contradictory information and an exhausting refund process.

Customers should NOT have to practically beg for refunds after returning products they did not order.

I am posting this review so other customers can understand what my experience has actually been like.

Big Deals — customers should not have to make countless calls to recover money that is already owed to them.

These people are selling illegal goods.

I bought a TV from them which got broken literally 10mins after the delivery guys left.

After reporting and numerous calls/emails, a person who identified as the supplier phoned me and told the TV was bought from Duty Free. He asked me to return the TV to a nearby Singer service centre and there would be no issue. lol

Then bigdeals.lk contacted me and said they would send a replacement tv with a duty free warranty card again. I can not accept illegal goods since duty free products can not be re-sold commercially.

I have already complained to the relevant authorities.

Absolutely terrible experience with BigDeals.lk.

I ordered an EVRO stand fan (Order #BIG0051014) and received it with broken fan blades. After complaining, they admitted the issue and promised a replacement. But unbelievably, the replacement also arrived damaged because they packed it in a thin plastic shopping bag with almost no protection.

How can a company send fragile parts like this and expect them to arrive safely?

This shows complete negligence, poor quality control, and careless customer service. Delivering one damaged item is bad enough, but sending a second damaged replacement is just ridiculous.

Very disappointed because I trusted this company and ordered from them before. This experience completely destroyed my confidence in BigDeals.lk.

Customers deserve better packaging, better handling, and basic responsibility from an online store.

No point of contact, once payment is made. Big fraud.

An irresponsible company..There is no officer to talk to to take responsibility..After placing the order and paying the money, they say it is over..The money has not been returned yet..It has been 11 days..Take a risk if you want to buy the goods...They keep telling the same lie when they call.

The amount of stress you have to go through until delivery ITS NOT WORTH buying anything from BIGDEALS>LK in my order a part is missing and bigdeals have now refused to accept this fact due to technical reasons

I ordered two fans from bigdealk.lk. One unit was delivered and is working fine, but the other one was missing the cups that cover the motor area, and it has the wrong blade with incorrect screw holes. This is a very basic issue, and I have provided them with all the evidence needed to understand it. Anyone with even a little common sense should understand that I cannot fix this incorrect blade and cannot use the fan without the proper one. What is the use of my purchase as a consumer if the product cannot be used?

I contacted their support team, and they said they can’t do anything about it now because I didn’t check and report the issue immediately after delivery. How can I fix a fan within 48 hours and check whether the blade holes are correct and usable without confirmation from my electrician? They are now asking me to claim the warranty but haven’t mentioned from whom or where. Aren't they suppose to provide warranty for the products I brought from them?

They are not responding to my emails and seem to be trying to avoid the issue instead of helping me. I also asked them to confirm whether they sell brand-new products or reconditioned / used ones, but there has been no response to that either.

Please be mindful when purchasing anything from them in the future.

I have bought a TV with three years warranty. However TV's display given problems after 7 months and I contacted big deals then they gave me seller's service contact then I contacted them and returned the TV to the place they gave me in Dehiwala. So far no update what happened to my TV or repair status. They just buying time and not giving the exact feedback. Such a incident I never came across. Better go ahead with Damro, Singer.

I bought a TV from BigDeals.lk and the speaker stopped working after a short time. When we tried to get help under warranty, they just kept passing us around instead of giving proper support. The service was worse than dealing with a government office.

I’ve had much better experiences with Wasi.com, Damro, and Daraz. I’ll never buy from BigDeals.lk again and will tell others not to either.

I have ordered a stand fan through the website, and its was a worst, the fan making humming sound and and noisy while working

I have ordered a wrist watch to give as a gift. Because of no information after 5 days I called and they said will receive in 2days. Then just after few minutes got a email and a text message telling they have rejected the order and repay to proceed new one. After 5,6 calls promised to send before the day I need. Birthday party was gone not received the item to give gift.very disappointed
