Collette Ellis = Bully…
I spoke to Collete Ellis operations manager and I have never felt so degraded in my life. She was extremely rude laughed down the phone to me, and told me to go ahead and make a complaint, I suffer with anxiety ptsd and I just wanted to discuss a role around my needs and an interest in catering, she basically told me I wasn’t skilled enough, was very passive agressive towards me. Speaking to Collette has really broken my confidence in looking for work and being judged. I have never cried before after speaking to a so called professional until today.

I wouldn’t give them one star! You will note that the only good reviews are invited!! Which means they are from friends or family! Not genuine candidates! Very dishonest!
The woman I dealt with is so so rude and disgusting behaviour towards you and is absolute rubbish at her job and takes the shifts from you! She has no idea what is going on in her shifts for you! She lies all the time and back tracks on everything she says! She is disgusting person to talk to! She owes me money for shifts and she changes the amount of money you are paid once she has booked you in! And even then she will say she never booked you in, so when you turn up for your shift to be told you have no the shift and has been taken by your recruiter!!! It’s disgusting that she is allowed to use her family ans herself to fill the bookings after she said you have it!!!! and at the last minute without telling YOU! And then she doesn’t pay you when you turn up or given a day up because you thought you were working !
She is the most patronising rude person I have ever dealt with in a recruitment agency and she should not be allowed to be a recruiter !! Steer clear

The staff was very impolite
The staff was very impolite. She did not mention her name and just judged what I say during the conversation. She talked to me with very angry tone and I really cannot find out the reason. I will not use the platform anymore.

Horrible customer services!
First I was greeted on the phone with poor taste by no mention of a name just the company. Then I was asked why I’m not working anymore or why I gave up a job and when I said it was because of my mental health and finances she then judged me based on the fact that I’m not working. It was very poor, and I can’t believe I was spoken to you like that when I was approached by them for a position. She had no right questioning, why I gave up a job for my mental health. Very judgemental and very horrible first time experience.

This company would deserve 0 stars, absolutely incompetent, the staff are lackluster, completely asinine, sent my résumé via email for a exam invigilator position to Ebony Sherrife in January 10, sent reference number also, so there cannot say they don't know what position, about the position, then was told someone will call me in 4 days, berry recruitment needs a lesson in responding, why tell someone going to call, and then intentionally forget.

Worst agency ever, reviews are based on the best gets a voucher so all the 5 stars are lies
Alright unless u need time off for health reasons. Then they try and delete your app, or argue with you on the phone when u ask for a portion back uve only been away from less than a week. And they make out its covered..
If you want to be spoken to like a dog then this is your place..
Chances of getting taken on through a company working for these is slim as they charge over the odds, so your stuck with the agency. My experience just go straight to the source for a job. Agencies like this think people need them when they'd have no job if we weren't all stupid enough to sign up.... no guaranteed job like most after 13 week. Collette who organises most is rude and will call u stupid and things done the phone and if u have an emergancy shell tell u how so many poeple are off in other schools. Nothing to do with me but like I said if u want be treated like a dog work here.
Oh and the good reviews are where they ask for a review and say the best one picked will receive a voucher.. so blackmailing and fraud as no one who still works there can put a bad review... because they all want the crappy 20 pound voucher!!

Do NOT use Berry recruitment
I have never had the misfortune to be spoken to so rudely and with such arrogance as I did with the female recruitment consultant at the Warrington branch. Not only did she keep interrupting but was very insulting with her arrogance. When challenged about her rude and unprofessional behaviour, the call got terminated and she decided not to speak or resolve the matter.
I then emailed head office explaining what had happened in great detail and how I was treated and spoken down to.
They emailed back asking me not to take any further action and that they would resolve the issue but nobody ever got back to me, nor was I ever given an apology by anyone.
My advice is - unless you don't mind being spoken down to and insulted with pure arrogance, then stay clear of this agency. Also, if your looking for candidates to hire for your company, look for a professional one, not berry recruitment.

Not As Good As You Think
Am still working through Berry in Kings Lynn but the management need to get a hold of things. Always a struggle to get through on the phone, emails not responded to and a blaise attitude from some of the agents. Very quick to send you pointless surveys on how they are doing but cannot respond to important emails. Candidates, beware.

Pros: They never failed to pay my wages and when I need jobs they always been there for me. Cons: The only thing that I don't liked it was working under the Charles contract.
