Surprised how great it was
I felt compelled to write here after having a very excellent experience with Brendon. I don't know if they've read all these comments and changed their ways to the better, but I was very impressed. I ordered from the online site, and my order arrived super quickly with no issues. Unfortunately, I made the mistake of ordering the incorrect size on all the bras I ordered. Fortunately though, they made the process SO EASY to return. Inside the package there was a prepaid sticker to ship it back if there were issues. So, I went online and ordered the CORRECT sizes, and slapped that sticker on the package to return the incorrect sizes and shipped it out. I got the correct sizes next day, AND got my refund next day (must have had excellent mail luck to be so quick!). I was so impressed. And plenty of updates about the shipment and everything else via email. Honestly for being such a goof in getting the incorrect size, the whole process was a breeze!
And the garments (once I had the correct size!) all fit great and look excellent on, and are comfy to boot. So, if you're unsure about their online store, I know I'm just an online stranger but I really had a fabulous experience. I personally would highly recommend them.
Refund turned into an expiring gift card
I purchased 6 items, but was incorrectly charged for 7, so I went to the Queenstown store to request a refund. However, I was told that the register was not working and that I would be given a gift card instead, with a one-month expiry.
I find this completely unreasonable. This was money that should have been refunded to me, yet it was replaced with a gift card that expires in one month. It doesn’t make sense that my own money would suddenly have an expiry date. I was honestly surprised by this way of handling the situation. On top of that, the staff became defensive when I pointed out the mistake, which made the experience even more unpleasant.
As I did not want to return to the store again, I accepted the gift card and used it on the spot to purchase items.
However, when the gift card was processed at the register, it turned out to be invalid and caused another error. Although the refund amount was deducted, I was unable to receive a receipt and left the store.
Giving customers an invalid gift card is a serious issue. If I had not used it immediately and had tried to use it later, I likely would have been told it was unusable. In that sense, I’m glad I used it on the spot.
Overall, this was a very disappointing and unprofessional experience.

Bendon Lingerie Outlet - Lunn Ave refuse to give refunds or exchanges ignoring the consumer guarantees act. Literally breaking the law.
Definitely not a store I would recommend.
The sales associate was nice but I feel she could have been a lot more helpful. After she measured me, she brought back a few bras to try, none really felt too comfortable, one was OK but not in a color I wanted. The prices, in my opinion, were way too expensive as well. She really didn't show me many, I can't wear underwire, so she said they're weren't a lot to choose from. I honestly don't think she tried hard enough and she was quick to stop showing me items and just wrote down the name of a bra I sort of liked so I could check online if I could get it my color. The price was horrible though and it was a bra for mastectomy patients. I wasn't pleased at all with the service or the availability of bras in my size, and prices were way too high. I asked her if there were bras in a lower price range as the posters in the windows said starting at 30.00, well, she said that there were none in a lower price in my size, I really don't believe that. I would have done better probably on my own. I left the store and bought a bra to my liking at another store. I will certainly not return to this store, maybe smaller breasted ladies will have better success, but folks like me who are well endowed, I don't see much to choose from.
Awful company, avoid!
Was in love with one particular line of underwear however after my recent purchase I realised the design had changed and they no longer fit well and were not of the same quality.
Their website would not allow me to publish a negative review which is extremely shady. Obviously they are trying to cut costs by replacing what used to be good products with inferior items with no indication this is being done.

Frustrating website experience.
I got a gift card for Christmas and unable to use it on the website without converting it to an e-gift card through my account. I cannot log into my account as it says every single password combination is wrong. Password reset emails do not send and do not appear in either my inbox or my junk/spam folder.
I received an email saying that my “cart misses me.” Look I am trying my hardest to spend money that you already have, and the website is honestly annoying. Live chat is not available during the times specified in the website 8:30am - 4:30pm. Meaning I have to lodge a ticket which takes hours to hear back about.
Really frustrating experience and will likely not shop here again because of it.

I've been shopping with Bendon for so more than 20 years now.
Always have a great experience, but recently i was served by Jahnvi in the Dress Mart outlet.
Her manner and interest in making sure that I have the best deal, the best product etc, was fantastic. Possibly one of the beast experiences that i have had with Bendon.

I have been ordering Bendon bras (and panties) online for nearly 20 years, after I first discovered them at David Jones in Brisbane in the Elle McPherson days. Yes I am Australian. My favorite bras at the moment are Sofia and Yvette, but I have bought many different styles over the years. I prefer an unpadded balconette underwire bra and the Bendon fit is perfect for me. I have tried other brands but end up throwing them away because they sag or lack support and/or push my breasts together. And Bendon bras are so pretty, and strong so very good value compared to other brands I've tried. Also service from Bendon is outstanding; my orders always arrive within days and they have never lost or messed up an order. Nor have I ever received products that have fallen apart. Was astonished to read some of the other reviews! The NZ reviews sound like they are dealing with a completely different company.

I am deeply disappointed with my latest order. Shortly after wearing them, all pairs started fraying, losing elasticity, and falling apart—this is a significant drop in quality from what I've come to expect.
I emailed Bendon to express my concerns, hoping for a prompt resolution, but they have not offered any solutions. Their lack of customer care has left me reconsidering my future purchases.
I even took the step of posting a review on their website to inform other customers about my experience, but disappointingly, they have not published it. It appears they are actively filtering out negative feedback, which raises questions about their transparency and commitment to customer satisfaction.
Great shopping experience at Te Rapa Bendon
I shopped at Te Rapa Bendon outlet, along with my Aunty on 13-04-2024.
We were assisted by separate ladies.
My assistant was Megan, whom I found to be extremely helpful, as well as being honest, regarding sizing of bras.
Meagan also directed me to items that were on sale that I may be interested in, which of course I was.
My Aunty was assisted by Shannen, whom she also found to be very helpful and knowledgeable.
Both myself and my Aunt had an amazing experience shopping at Te Rapa Bendon, which set us both up for a great day.
I would strongly recommend anyone, or everyone to go to this Bendon outlet

Such was the detail of information given that I was confident that what I was purchasing was exactly what I needed. True to her word the garments purchased have lived up to her recommendations.

Do not order online! No way to contact Bendon
Outstanding customer service in Otaki the staff are a credit to Bendon. In fact, all the Bendon retail stores and staff I've visited have been absolutely amazing. Unfortunately, I cannot say the same as a first-time customer on the Bendon online website - what a shocker - took my money online but my order has disappeared, and Bendon sent me an email that I've left items in my cart - the very items I've already paid for - and the same order that is not showing in my online Bendon account! Mistakes happen, should be easy enough to sort out - but noooo - there is literally no way to speak to a human being for online ordering - as they have NO phone numbers for online customer service or their head office. Essentially without a contact number for online ordering Bendon have created a definitive barrier to customer service, with no way to remedy things in a timely manner when things go wrong,,, such as a technical glitch like the back end of their website ordering system, not talking to the front end. Meaning the customer has paid and is waiting for an order to arrive - and it never does! Nor is there a record of your order online. But if you buy on their website all you can do is email Bendon - you can't actually speak to a human about say a missing order! Seriously! Bendon online doesn't comply with online trading expectations and isn’t aligned with the fantastic customer service in the Bendon retail shops like Otaki, Tawa, Lambton Quay. Hopefully, Bendon takes note of my comments. I spoke with the regional retail manager - who was going to call Auckland head office, but I should have been able to make a quick call to Bendon to sort it out, can’t do that without a phone number. I will review this feedback based on what happens next.
