Bedsteads is set in an ancient mediaeval Barn, in the Somerset levels just outside of Bristol. It is a beautiful place to visit, where you can wander around what seems like hundreds of antique beds looking for the exact look you want. In my case I was very particular, and couldn’t find what I wanted so they helped me to create the bed of my dreams. Sam, a master craftsman, adapted an existing bedstead that I had, to the right size, and added handmade castings to make it look correct. He also designed the foot and the feet to match, and I chose the perfect finish. It really is the Bed of my dreams. It was delivered and built in my new house by Eric and Nicki. It feels like the start of a new life. It is very central to my feeling of security and happiness within my new home. I’m very proud to own it. I feel bedsteads collaborated with me at every step of the way to help me create my dream Bed.

It was a pleasure to work with Bill of Bedsteads. I told him things I wanted in a bed frame and he found one and refurbished it so beautifully. I am in awe each time I look at it. Every piece is married together seamlessly.

The team were an absolute pleasure to work with! I particularity loved the enthusiasm they had for their work. They took our king size frame and extended into a super king - looking at the bed now it's almost impossible to tell it wasn't always a super king!! I really couldn't recommend highly enough.

I recently bought a beautiful bed from “Bedsteads” and dealing with them was a delight from start to finish. Rose couldn’t have been more helpful when I was making my initial order and I was kept well informed as to delivery etc. I also received very helpful instructions as to how to assemble the bed (which was very easy to do).
